Raven noted his smirk, but as she scanned his emotions, she saw much happiness, with underlying bits of excitement and confusion. She could've sworn there was one more powerful emotion, but it was too clouded by the others to be recognizable. His happiness seemed to rub off on her even more, and that one missing emotion.. brought a warmth to her, and a bit of a flutter. As he spoke, her expression softened, no longer just the constant, ecstatic and bright smile she always wore, but something more comfortable, more true. "I trust you." Raven spoke with a soft tone that matched her eyes full of tenderness. Her tail behind her swished more lightly, and she clenched her hand a bit at her side.
A couple weeks since the whole… laundry incident… Raven still had “not” Dart’s socks. Well, the pair she’d stolen. As far as she could tell he had returned all of her guitar pics. The little baggy still sat on her shelf, pristinely kept closed since the encounter.
Of course, Dart couldn’t have that. Couldn’t have been keeping his socks. So, he came knocking. Knocking at her door. This time not covered in blood. In fact, he’d gotten the urge before he left his room for her to spritz a fresh bit of his cologne on himself. The ghoul gently rapped on Raven’s door.

She could recognize the scent from the few weeks before, now not overpowered by the smell of blood. She put her book down on her desk and pushed her swivel chair over to the door, opening it wide with a soft smile. "Hey Dart! Come in!"
She spun her chair back into place, grabbing her book before the chair slowed to a stop to face Dart. She kept the book in her lap, maintaining her gaze on Dart. "What brings you back here?"

As she saw his awkward smile, she recognized it as an effort to make a good impression and bring comfort. Her shoulders relaxed and her smile eased into something more natural, though still a bit softer than her usual bright greeting. Ray put in her best effort to be a bit more formal, she even presented herself in more uniform-like clothing, she couldn't help but sneak a few sparkly stickers onto her belt, though. She gave a slight bow, purple hair falling over her shoulder before she cleared her throat to speak. "Papa, I'm Raven, a multi-ghoul here. Uhm.." It was now that she realized she wasn't very good with "proper" introductions. "I usually.. show others around, and bring peace to those who need it.. I'm also pretty good at detecting guilt and lies. So, uh- I guess you can call me if you ever need that?" She let out a nervous chuckle, like she was anxious that she'd messed up. From what she could tell so far, this new Papa wasn't all that bad. Then again, it was hard to get a read on him, which she found strange considering she can usually tell emotions even through masks. She held onto hope that the rumors had been wrong.
Raven knocked on the door cautiously, she was still rather nervous about having a new Papa. Whispers spread like fire through the ministry among siblings and ghouls alike, many sharing stories and rumors of the man being intimidating and cold.
But, Raven always looked for the best. Besides, he was purple and shiny, so how bad could he really be?
"Uh.. Per- er.. Papa? I'd like to introduce myself, if you'd give me the time?" Raven's voice wavered, her usual confidence seemingly vanishing.
She never really liked when people saw her upset or nervous. So, despite no one being around, she put on a smile, albeit a bit forced.

//sorry for writing so much, I get excited
[ Perpetua stared at Raven, mostly off in his own world before snapping back to everyone else's. He nodded his head as she spoke before giving an awkward smile himself. ]
Sure, if you'd like.
[ he wouldn't have to leave again until tonight anyway. Perpetua did have the plan of sleeping all day, which he could still accomplish since it was only early morning. He decided he would. ]

Ray's smile widened further than what seemed inhumanly possible, but not in an uncanny or creepy way. Her mood almost seemed to brighten everything around her.
"Pleasure to meet you, Sirius! And don't worry about it, I'm just a bit jumpier than usual today."
Raven looked down at the display of colors on her wrist as an idea popped into her head. She looked back up at Sirius and pointed to the bracelets.
"Do you want one?" She asked, tilting her head slightly.
Hello.
[the voice came from besides Raven. He wasn’t all that tall, and by the looks of it- was a Quintessence ghoul, seeing as he sorta had a resemblance to Phantom. He looked at her with an almost stoic expression before tilting his head]
You’re a ghoullette here, right?
[ @stars-of-sirius ]
Raven looked to the ghoul, letting out a soft, almost bird-like screech as she was startled by the sudden voice. She had to do a double take, noting the similarities between him and one of her closest friends.
Once Raven realized this was someone new she hadn't met before, she brightened instantaneously. A smile spread across her lips as her tail swished faster behind her.
"That's right! I'm Raven, most people call me Ray. And you are?" She spoke eagerly, with a certain air of confidence. As she asked his name, she held a hand out, her wrist covered in silly bands and homemade bracelets.

//Voice Claim!
Heeey! That's my voice haha!
//It's here! I finally figured out what Ray sounds like!
//Specifically the last verse at 2:46 to 2:51 Where it can sound a bit like the higher note but when she needs to be serious she can bring it down and make it a slight rasp/growl (Much like an actual raven)

Raven smiled brightly as he accepted the book, she was excited to hopefully gain a new friend, although she already considered them one of hers. She felt a bit torn, parting with the book that she held so dearly. It would only be a few days at most, and she had no doubts in her mind that Dart would take good care of it, considering how neat he is.
She felt the leather escape her grasp, but she practically beamed at the sight of them holding the book.
"I can't wait to talk about it! I'm sure you'll love it!" She tried her best to stop herself from hopping again, which worked. Though, her tail wouldn't stop swinging behind her like a puppy.

Have you considered that your obsession with oc’s and role playing is a result of you being a maladaptive daydreamer and that you should be in therapy
//Haha. I already have therapy 👅👅👅 AND SUCK IT BECAUSE SHE DOES THERAPY THROUGH ROLEPLAYING GAMES!!! (This is meant in a playful manner)

Hello, my ghoul. I take it things are going well up here?
[ @baphomet-of-neferduat ]
A little slow, but incredible, My Lord! I've made such wonderful friends. V still scares me a bit.. but he's purple and shiny, so he can't possibly be that bad.

Raven's smile returned and she walked over to Dart, grabbing the book off her chair on the way. It was a small, thin book with a leather cover, printed in red was the silhouette of a raven, intricate patterns around the border, and the words "Edgar Allan Poe, The Raven and Other Poems" written in gold. The edges of the pages were coated in the same gold, giving the book a bit of a shine that she could stare at for hours. "These are some of my top poems. Of course, Poe has other works that are much larger in length. 'The Raven' is by far my favorite, which is kind of funny if you think about it! I could lend my book to you.. i-if you want to give it a try, that is." Raven held the book out to them. It had that distinct "old book" scent, mostly earthly and/or woody, leather from the cover, and a bit dusty from age, there was also a slight hint of lavender and citrus from being used so often by the purple-haired ghoulette.
A couple weeks since the whole… laundry incident… Raven still had “not” Dart’s socks. Well, the pair she’d stolen. As far as she could tell he had returned all of her guitar pics. The little baggy still sat on her shelf, pristinely kept closed since the encounter.

Raven's smile faded slightly as she saw the faint glow of pink around them, same as before. She blinked and the glow was gone, so she assumed it was nothing. Raven looked down, kicking a crumpled ball of paper that was near her foot. Her hands felt warm as she kept them behind her back. "Right.. right." She looked around her room, the trinkets scattered around the floor, the decorations on the wall. She looked back at her book that she left on her chair, then back to Dart with a soft smile. "Do you.. like poetry?"

//LMAOOOO NAH DW ABOUT IT 💀//
She immediately perks up, eyes and attitude brightening, the shame washing away. She takes the bag and smiles brightly. She took Dart's hand in both of hers and hopped up and down, trying to suppress a squeal.
"These are so pretty! I can't thank you enough!!"
She let go of his hand and used her claw to rip the bag open, careful not to graze the colorful fabric. She looked at each pair and quickly ran to her shelf, placing them softly in a row that was clearly displayed. She had only just received them, but they already belonged on her shelf of favorites. She stood back and brushed a bit of bright purple hair from her face to examine the shelf.
"I love them so much! Thank you, really."
