The sudden shift was to be expected; her presence often had that effect. Still, she couldn’t help but be amused. So often her title preceded her and she hardly got a chance to witness this. Admittedly, she had wondered if it would bear any weight here in Zaun.

“Lovely. No apologies necessary, dear. I daresay this is the most civil exchange I’ve been met with during this investigation, so I certainly understand. Have you someplace to talk? You, me, and... er, that?” The sheriff gestured to the puppet, brow furrowing.

"It's been a long time since I've set foot in Zaun. In fact, it's curious I would find myself here at all... I don't believe we've ever met. Consider me a friend of a friend." A woman's voice came from the shadows, an unmistakable High Piltovian accent to her words, "Forgive the lack of formalities, but I'm on official business. I've obtained a photo of you and someone I'm searching for. His name is Currelis. Have you heard of him?"

The redhead’s eyes darted up, searching through the semi-lighted room for where the voice came from. Her puppet; Warren on standby and ready behind her, also concealed in the shadows as well. How did he not even feel another presence? 

“…. Depends on who’s asking.” She replied sharply.

“I’m certain you’ve heard of me.” Her statement was dry and accompanied by the click of her heels as she stepped forth. She leaned against her rifle, tipping her hat to acknowledge the puppeteer and her rather... disturbing companion.

“Sheriff Caitlyn Blakemoore,” she introduced herself in a calm tone, “I’ve a cold case and a curiosity to sate. Valya, correct? Do you mind taking a look?” She produced a photograph from her jacket and offered it.

Just a friendly PSA about the new lore!

I’m a little sad to see that people seem so against some of the lore changes, but I mean of course I’m not saying that everyone should bow down to Riot and love everything they make.

What I would like to say, or rather remind people of, is that while you have every right to be unhappy with the choices they make, you can’t forget that it’s their game. Whatever they choose to do with the characters from it, where they’re from and everything else that comes with it is entirely up to them, not you.

What I don’t mean by that: You should just shut up and take everything they give you for gold.

What I do mean by that: Please keep in mind that while your input is important to them as content creators, it doesn’t mean that your word is gold, either. That said, when communicating your displeasure towards a new implementation of existing content, please please please be considerate of the fact that artists and writers just like you and me have put effort into what Riot’s given us and remain polite in the way you choose to disclose your disagreement.

I’ve seen too many “This is garbage get it of it”s and the like and it hurts me because it’s like we forget that Riot is run by people, too.

I know there’s a survey going around atm, so I just thought I’d put this up for those who are against the changes and have the intention of filling it up ♥

TL;DR Please be kind in your feedback. You have your right to be displeased with content but it doesn’t give you the right to boss Riot around ; v ;/

Riot started a lore survey

We have been given an option to speak up. I for one am surely addressing Zaun’s issues in the new lore. I want Zaun to be a separate country.
