It's easy to believe we are villains or the bad guys. That happened to Virgil too, and God knows everyday I'm like at least 45% I'm a bother, but the sides ended up accepting him and my friends love me so. There's hope for you buddy

Deceit ~ I believe Virgil was a different story but he did end up accepted. I do think that my personality and my.. compulsion to lie around them and mostly others overshadows my use as a dark side. But I have come to realize now that they need us, and we..... n...ee them,,, e u Gh.Mod ~ I do agree with the anon!Deceit might as well never hve the chance to redeem himself but maybe that’s for the best, he may be more useful as a full dark side so he can do his job of protecting certain things. Deceit will have to learn to grow away from his bad habit of telling unnecessary lies though.

((Heyo *actual* mod checking in here, so as you can tell Ive been messing a lot with deceits thoughts and ideas that may seem different than why he is originally portrayed as. So what I’m asking is if you like the whole “character development through asks and messing with his character, then leave some kind of positive response via like (which is problematic going to be thbe most common), comment, reblog or Ooc ask ((example sending an ask written like this)) where you can talk to me directly/yell at me lol. Yeah I guess. Nothing is 100% bad, as nothing is 100% good. It's been proven that the "light" sides can be too much, so it makes sense that you can be good under certain circunstances. Some lies are necessary. There's things we're not yet ready to know, and things other people are not ready to know, and protection can be necessary. Think this in this way: In those cases, you're providing something Thomas really need and letting the choice for him.

Deceit: I suppose, I will mull this over. I’ve been in the Villain place for so long I don’t expect to change soon or my ways but maybe….. Maybe the Light Sides and The Dark Sides can learn to tolerate each other. But we will always be the dark sides but it’s our job.

But are you really? I mean you're Thomas's deceitful side, that means you're behind all or at least most of his lies. That means that when any if his friends ask things like "do you like my haircut" or "do you think this is gonna be fine" and he says yes to spare their feelings, that's you too.

Deceit ~ While feelings may have been spared, the good part isn’t me. If Anything that’s Patton. I guess we somehow worked together when doing that, but I like to believe I am strictly the lying part. Obviously the others do not think highly of any of my lies anyways. But with those explains I merely provide the statement “What they don’t know isn’t going to hurt them,��� or to directly quote myself “What you don’t know can’t hurt you” so I suppose you are referring to using that for..good?

I mean, lying is not necessarily bad. White lies, lies to protect someone's feelings or safety, are necessary for us to live in society. The problem is lying for the sake of lying.

Deceit ~ Are you saying.. that I play an actual role in Thomas? Look everyone knows I do lie to lie, I don’t even know if I’ve ever have told a white lie, a good lie. look I obviously a Villain.-He finds something to lean on and crosses his arms.-

Mod ~ I think They have a point about the white lies, now that I think about, lying sucks but the white lies when used correctly have probably a positive outcome.

Deceit~ I suppose this is what people call “having something in common” . I suppose you then understand that my distinction is I take pride in my job. I have my sole reason and that is deceptive and lying. Wether or not that makes me anasshole is yet to be confirmed. But I am aware of the people hating me. I’m glad I have someone to relate to in a sense though.
