Moira: Thank you. Officially I've got a few simple projects, just identifying which ones do what, the variation of blood cell counts, rate of cell division, boring things compared to previous work but work that must be done none the less. It also helps rebuild my credibility after the... unfavorable reception to my magnum opus and the Venice IncidentMoira: Unofficially, that’s a much more interesting story. As before I’m putting focus into rapid cellular regeneration to improve our Heavy Assult units. I’ve also taken part in a few autopsies of oddities to study their abilities for replication. I've also stepped outside my field to work with Dr De Kuiper, allegedly as just another scientist to chat with about his experiences and the Melody. But mostly to study him, according to all scans and testimony from Talon specialists and my personal account of the matter; his striatum and hippocampus activity is quite bizarre reflecting his time experiencing all and yet no time within the black hole and a few signs of PTSD from said experience and the initial reaction to his powers and subsequence imprisonment. Moira: So far he isn’t aware of Talon’s current activity when he had his incident it was just a mercenary company, he also doesn’t know about my fall from grace and it’s quite nice to talk to a respectable figure who doesn’t give me dirty looks

How do you guys manage time to answer questions on blog while you have missions to assign? Also if Reaper is giving the ask a dirty look because of my avatar, I’m not your Soldier: 76. I’m sort of the next generation of the vigilante soldier in the future. Like 20 years prior.

Reaper: I can multitask. When I ran Blackwatch I often had to pretend I wasn’t doing anything well I was planning missions in order to reduce suspicion and maintain plausible deniability. I’d be sending memes to Ana on one screen and drawing up tactics for a raid on a dictator’s mansion on the other. Doomfist: Deligation is also key. There’s more than 10 on the council and then we have bases that answer directly to one or two councilors, more levels all the way down. This means that well I do have a lot of reports to read each day it allows me to focus on the broader strokes instead of finetuning every mission.Moira: And on the Council we also divvy up responsibilities, I put most of my focus to our research teams, Maximillian to financing, and well, any more would be telling now wouldn’t it.Widowmaker: Sombra and I do not assign missions. we may suggest which grunts, agents and the like we would like to work with but base commanders and councilors have no requirement to listen. I fully expect Sombra makes adjustments to missions without anyone’s knowing. Sombra: as for actually doing missions, well we get plenty of time on the transport ships before and after.

What's everyone's favorite cheese?

Widowmaker: A fine question. It is hard to pick favorites the different tastes and textures suit them to benefit from atmosphere and accompaniments, some  combinations j’adore is Grapron with Côtes Roannaises, Epoisses and Auslese, Mi- Doomfist: Okay Lunch isn’t for a few hours and Widow can go on like this all day so we’re going to come back to her later. When I did MMA I had it drilled into me that cottage cheese was an excellent source of protein and it’s been a staple for me ever since.Moira: I’m partial to garlic and herb cream cheese especially baked into some chicken or spread on crackers.Sombra: I never developed a taste for this highbrow crap. Dr. O'Deorain, I don't mean to get super philosophical, but you had mentioned previously that you are/were raised Catholic. How in God's name do you expect to justify yourself when you stand before Him? And now with Dr. Kuiper, you are now being accused of taking advantage of the mentally unstable?

Moira: I don’t. I know what Talon does goes against nearly all of His rules but humanity needs this. We’ve all spoke before about how conflict and danger drives humanity to improve and prevents stagnation and complacency. I’ll accept whatever He decides is just for me because I am content in believing I’ve done what is right.

((hello, and so sorry for how long it’s been without updating. there’s been a lot going on for the mods lives and coupled with how Tumblr shit the bed losing the faith of the mods leaving to a lot of us abandoning the site near completely. But, there’s nowhere on the internet like this hellhole. so some of us have come crawling back and are now going try to get this back up and running. A fair amount of questions in our inbox have been purged due to either time or canon (official and blog) making them irrelevant, lack of ability to answer them in the format we use, or mod discretion on subjects. We may mess with the format to try include some in a sort of a ficlet sort of style rather than script log to give more room to maneuver with questions and new questions should be more likely be answered going forward and hopefully, we will be able to make up for the hiatus))

One for the Talon leaders - we all know the general ethos of Talon is to cause conflict to propel development, but I was curious what your ideal world would look like if you were given the opportunity to just change it all at once? Also, Doomfist, any workout routines you'd recommend?

Doomfist: In mine, Talon would never go away. The world prepares constantly advancing and training and developing and every so often Talon will rise like a sleeping giant to test them. Making sure they do not stagnate.Reaper: i’d like one where everyone can see the bigger picture. rather than fighting over the lines they drew on the map and who’s allowed to do what and where everyone stays focused on how to do best for human and omnic kind without anyone peacocking their power or status slowing it down.Moira: My little slice of heaven already exists, Oasis didn’t cower in Luddite fear from the Crisis like the rest of the world. perhaps just everywhere being like them.Doomfist: and for your second question, I’d have to inquire about your body type, ideal build. Personally, I tend to focus on upper body and arms to better articulate with the gauntlet.

Honestly, Amelie. I don't think you have the guts to kill a child. I'm not daring you, but you're still a woman, and women have maternal instincts, not matter how much reprogramming that you go through. Plus, I know you guys have that unspoken rule of not harming children, at least not on purpose.

Moira, not trying to get too heavy with the topic, but has anyone ever compared you to the likes of Mengele or someone of the same nature? I know you previously said that sacrifices must be made in the pursuit of knowledge, ie: Galen and such. Do you believe that you will be remembered in time as a visionary or hero. After all, many great minds were shunned in their time, as you obviously know. Not that you're seeking fame necessarily, but that your contributions are recognized properly.

Moira: were I just Oasis or still a part of Blackwatch I might be held in a neutral or if my discoveries valuable and history being kind maybe even positive. But as a councilwoman of Talon I’ve accepted my fate as a villain. At least my findings may be useful or at least lead to useful information by those trying to fight back against what I created.
