It seemed as though Constantine had accidentally poked at a nerve that he did not mean to, but at the end of the day, the android really was just a tool at his disposal. He was just trying to finish the investigation as quickly as possible, and he just hoped to whatever higher being existed that this android wouldn’t get in his way.

Perhaps Constantine felt threatened of his reputation being rivaled by that of an android?

He lets out a sigh when he’s snapped at by the android. “Working for the DPD is very much your problem, as well as mine for the time being. Complaining about an android would not do me any good-- may as well grit my teeth and enjoy the benefits as much as possible...”

“We best get working on the case. The more time spent complaining is just wasted time.” He’d say as he continues reviewing the files.

There were plenty of factors that he would not take into account for, such as spontaneous schedule changes, guard rotations, or something as minuscule as a simple smoke break. That was the glory of being human, deviant even; unpredictability is a key feature of their existence. “Adapting to human and deviant unpredictability is one of my features. I can assure you that, for as long as we work together, the possibility of success will only increase.” Which was true-- while Constantine could go alone, there could be situations where it’d be near impossible to complete without a second person. And Detective Harper going in by herself wouldn’t be the best option, either.

“While it will most certainly be difficult, the results will be beneficial to our investigation,” It’s as much comfort as they’re both going to get... the benefit of knowing more, and having that knowledge of what happened... as well as gaining justice? It would definitely be worth all the work.

Constantine nods as he turns his heel away from the androids, allowing the rest to continue their work. “There is another entrance to the tower around its side, which is not as heavily guarded. Our best chance to slip in unnoticed is through that entrance. However, we may have to travel by foot for a quarter of the distance. It should not take long.”

Dear Tumblr RP community, if you have issues with a certain person, then talk to that person directly instead of making vague rant posts. That kind of stuff can be very triggering for people with anxiety, depression, etc., and it will make them think the post is about them, even if it’s not. Not only that, but it can make them beat themselves up, even if they haven’t done anything wrong.

Vague Blogging is the Tumblr equivalent to Sub Tweeting.

Stop being childish, and talk to the person directly like a mature person.

Humans took pride in being complicated. When really, Constantine thought it was a load of bullshit-- why take pride in being so complicated when you can have all the problems be solved for you if you were just straightforward about it? Sure, there were plenty of factors always involved, but by the end of the day, there’s always a solution for everything. Sometimes some humans didn’t even understand themselves...

“I wonder why they think that having an android to assist in an investigation would further progress the case,” he says. Androids usually just stood there and looked pretty anyways, without offering much help. “Seems to me as though the DPD has begun to suffer a lack of good judgement.”

He did not mean to be insulting towards the android-- just that it simply did not make sense to him.

The way that the captain was cooking this out to be just made it confusing. Fowler had pointed at the other RK-900 previously, but now he was taking back his word about him having to work with Nickolas. He’d just stand idly, blinking at the captain as he continued.

“The only android model that was created for such a purpose is the RK-900 line, however, Nickolas and I are the only operating androids in the DPD available for such a task if you do not wish to send a human into the situation undercover,” he states. Constantine was sure that the other thought that they could just sit down and conjure up a whole knew face, but the problem was, it was far more difficult than just that. It required thoroughly scanning a person’s facial features, and they can’t just... make up a whole new appearance. It already takes much energy for them to maintain it, let alone create it...

A health problem? It wasn’t Constantine’s business but it was unlike him not to pry-- at least discreetly.

“Even if I were to disguise myself as another human, it would only last me about three to four hours or so. Nickolas would be an amazing candidate, had I been incapacitated during the mission, but, if you insist that I’m not allowed to take him, then feel free to assign me to someone else.”
