Question for the professors: What do you know about fusion? Can it be used in battles and do you try to teach it in your lab?

Steven: We're not professors. The lab has a program with the university for internships, but it's not actually part of the university at all. We're not teaching people how to battle here. Mm. Dr. Steele aside. No. Don't take that and run. She only teaches Atticus because he's her special toy. If he wasn't interesting, she wouldn't be doing that.

What happens to criminals caught in Callaiaster? Is there a holding cell or a sheriff or anything like that?

Caroline: What happens is that they go through me.

Matt: Aye. Well... we haven't got any sort of thing here. This village bein' as small as it is, we haven't got ready access to enforcement... despite that we get a lot of folks through here. We have to send requests to Rescue Agencies in the nearby towns, and deal with them on our own while we wait.

Caroline: Just let me deal with them. No one’s looking.

Matt: I'm looking. We have rehabilitation fer this. Yer not judge, jury, an' executioner.

Caroline: And that purrloin is?

Matt: I'll deal with it, ye maniac. Don't start on this again.

Matt how strong are you and how many moves do you know?

Matt: Ah, well, I'm no slouch. I'm well-traveled, y'know. I've probably forgotten more techniques than most people bother to learn. Don't look too impressed, move of 'em are moves I would've learned just by trainin' normally. Most of what I practice anymore are the skills I teach the kids.

So... Gamma , how are you? No new signs of uncontrollable aggression?so... Is it good to have someone near you to talk or teach all the time? And does other mons look at you like you're crazy when you do?

Gamma: Mmn, I wouldn't say no signs...

It's nice to talk to someone who isn't myself, but let's face it: I probably would be anyway if she wasn't here. I'm not really too worried about what random people are thinking about it. And listen... Clara's not exactly receptive to being taught. She's right no matter what, might as well let her rant about it once she gets going.

To Myu . Have you tried to search for the that zoroark who... You know... Was outraging not long time ago. If you feel scared of them use a helping hand of the other mons around. They might help to search them.

Myu: I... didn't know that's how many years he had! But... he's clearly still like me... If he were a bug, it would definitely make sense, but being a dragon, it's weird he aged so fast, I guess. I don't know, I guess that must be because of whatever they did to him? Maybe? Is that okay to wonder about...?

Opal: I would die for her, sweetie. Of course, I would have to make sure my work is done first. I can't be leaving her with competition, you know.

To Atticus and Topaz:

So I guess Pokemon Fusion is possible! Now I wonder what Topaz would look like when she fuses with Sandy? Would it be a Mew/Meowth mix or something?

Atticus: Topaz can do whatever she wants. Just... not with me.

... No, not whatever she wants!! Maybe... don't actually fuse... for a while...

Topaz: I wanna turn into a big thing!! Me and Sandy could turn into a big thing together!

Sandy: I don't know what me and a mew would turn into! That would be really cool... eeee... But I've never fused into a new thing for real. I'm not very good at it... me and Marie never get it right. Um, Mister Matt says that fusions are different for everyone. There's no way to know what a fusion's gonna be like until it happens.

Sandy: My daddy already knows he's gonna live a long time. But he says it's okay because he's already a hundred and sixty.

TSSB Book Two FAN ART FEATURE

Submission Guidelines

To be eligible for printing in TSSB's book, submissions must...

• Be in either drawn or written format

As well as drawn pieces, you may also submit pieces of written prose! An example of what this will look like in the final book is posted below:

• Feature either TSSB characters or locations from the comic (such as Callaiaster Town, Dynamene City, etc)

• Be exactly 1800x2700px in size for art pieces OR up to 700 words for prose (note: i am willing to add more space for prose submissions, but less is more!). Below is the template that includes the bleed, grayed out, and includes an example of what this looks like on actual pieces. The bleed is the part of the page that can get cut off or sewn into the binding of the book. You are encouraged to fill the entire page, and your piece must have a background (a solid background is completely acceptable!), but any important details about your art, such as faces, important props, and artist signatures should ideally not fall into the grayed area!

• You may resubmit an old piece as long as it fits the dimensions!

• Up to 3 pieces may be submitted of any type!

You may submit your work through any site, but make sure to send it directly to me so that I can find it! This can be done via PM on DeviantArt, Tumblr, Comic Fury, or Discord. (I will not be providing my Discord contact; this is only for those who already have it)
