Much body paint later, the twins are ready for Halloween! 

I actually spent an hour or two attempting to find good couple/sibling Halloween costumes and they all suck, so I defaulted to plan B: Nine-Tailed Demon Fox from Naruto and Demon Lord Ninetails from Okami. 

I adore Halloween as a holiday and look forward to it every year! Happy Halloween everyone!!

Ilona: “Yeah yeah, find me some water and I might not bite your ear the next time you whine about something.”

Soleil: “...I’m not whining...”

Departing for the Orre Region! 

I am still actively working during this all, so I don’t have much time for ask blogging but I hope to return real soon! For now, I will be playing Animal Crossing to try to keep spirits up. Feel free to send me a friend request on the switch: SW-5669-0304-5797

Nel: “Dusk stones blend into the sand at night so they can only be found while the sun is up. So, think you can get one before any of them evolve?”

“Though...” Nel paused for a moment looking down at the twins before him. “It’s obvious that you both have almost zero battle experience. I wonder if you went through any training before.”

“Psh of course we have!” Soleil burst out. “We may have been taught by Mira, but we at least know how to defend ourselves!”

Ilona looked a bit more unsure, “Y...Yeah I suppose we know the basics at the very least.”

“Basics?” Nel echoed. “Then I have an idea. Follow along.”

“I don’t think it’s a real good idea to go too far...” Ilona trailed off.

“Do not worry. I have no intention of getting either of you injured, but I won’t say my training will be easy. My siblings weren’t too fond of it, either.”

“Besides,” Nel said after a beat. “What other choice do you have? Do you think this ‘Mira’ will get any weaker? Or maybe those Skarmony? You both were sitting Murkrow out there. To be honest, if you continue as you are then it is only a matter of time until the desert takes you. But I’m sure both of you were already aware of that risk.”

The sisters exchanged glances, but both could already tell their decision without speaking. Nel spoke the truth and it hurt more than any flame ever could. Both knew the danger of trying to find King, let along crossing the desert alone. There could be no more waiting. They had to take this chance to get stronger.

Ilona and Soleil silently follow Nel away from the temple.
