How do you know who dies if you lose the death book? Do you get another one? Does the old one just shrivel up and disappear? What would happen if a human got it? What should I do if it says my name? Can I cross it out and they forget?

My sincerest apologies, I have been absent for quite some time. I am unsure if you still want your question answered, considering this is from July, but... The book itself has nothing to do with the list itself. It's just a collection of names, not a supernatural item. It's like losing any other personal book. Inconvenient, and a bit of a hassle if it gets into the wrong hands, but quite easily replaceable.

Does that all make sense?
