I will start the commission once I receive payment.

I will email you as I progress. This means that you will be able to see the sketches, lineart, and flat color (as it applies) before the piece is completed.

If there is anything you need changed, this would be the time to mention it!

USAGE

Feel free to use commissioned works for your personal use as long as you give me credit.

Please don’t use it for profit or claim it as your own.

You are not allowed to trace, edit, modify, or copy and claim commissioned works as your own.

As much as I love art, it is not a full-time career for me, and school and life will be prioritized above it.

That being said, please be patient while waiting for your commission. Depending on the complexity of the commission, waiting time can be anywhere from a day to a few weeks.

When you receive the finished commission, I will leave a small signature somewhere on it. Please don’t remove this!

Hiatus

Starting tomorrow, I’m gonna be taking a month-long hiatus!!

Mun do you have anytips on learning anatomy: Should I learn the skeleton firstvv

Uhhh I’m not the best person to ask this to, haha… My anatomy is very inconsistent and disproportionate at best ^^;; There are tons of other resources and more talented and experienced artists out there where you can get better advice, so don’t only listen to me.

I never really studied the skeleton?? If you really wanted to, go for it, I’m sure it would help with structure and stuff, but I don’t think it’s absolutely necessary? Others might have a different opinion on the matter, though, and everyone learns differently. If it helps you with your artistic journey, learn anything that you need to.

The biggest tip I would have is to use reference pictures!!! Drawing from memory, especially as a beginner, can be very difficult. Get into the habit of drawing from references, as it will help familiarize you with how the human body looks like as it moves and is seen from different angles in real life.

If you are completely new to drawing, you can even practice by tracing! Lower the opacity of a photo and trace the basic shapes before moving onto details. If you completely trace and copy, however, don’t post it, as it is plagiarism. This should be purely for personal practice, and you should not claim creative credit.

Also remember that art is stylized!! Unless you’re striving for something along the lines of photo-realism, there is always a margin for stylized approaches where anatomy is adjusted to fit your personal art style. But in order to break a rule, you must be familiar with the rule, first! Knowing your anatomy will make it infinitely easier to bend the rules and create a style for yourself. As much as it has already been said by so many people, practice does make perfect.

And most importantly, have fun!! Don’t take yourself too seriously; your art is constantly evolving, and you should never compare yourself to other artists. Your style is completely unique– no one else draws exactly like you! Take pride in your artistic fingerprint, because you are amazing!!
