I made up some questions just to make the format look nicer

Where are the Mimikyu’s parents?

They mostly wonder the same thing themselves. The only one who’d have a single clue on that is Archie though, all the rest know is that their parents are likely dead. 

The Mimikyus currently live with Henry, a Gengar who runs a market that hosts a trial. Archie works as the trial’s captain, Cato makes and sells clothes she makes online, and Muni is attempting to do an online art career- though it isn’t as successful as he wants it to be. 

Do UBs/Legendaries/etc exist in this world? How does evolution work?

Ultra beasts are in fact a thing, pretty much aliens who reside in the world. They may pop up once I decide how to do them. 

Legendaries are also a thing! Again how they’ll be executed is pretty debatable for me currently. 

Pokemon evolve under the same conditions as their original counterparts. And its effects vary from person to person. Sometimes it’s a really weird thing where they notice a lot of un-natural changes and other times it feels almost like nothing. 

Legendary forms are just sort of like a physical transformation when they switch forms- usually by will. Though usually, they require certain conditions to transform like their original counterparts from the games. 

There are rare cases though like Necrozma and Zygarde.

 Zygarde’s body can be easily taken apart and put back. It’s like a million creatures all combining physically to make a separate entity. Pretty much like canon Zygarde. It’s like fusion in steven universe somewhat- though it’s made out of 4 main components and a million mindless drones. When the 4 mains are unstable or are completely split on something- they will separate from the combined Zygarde with a few drones and make up a form based on the number of drones it managed to carry out with them- if any. In rarer cases, the whole form will fall apart just because of this one salty main component. 

Sorry, I’m gonna talk about su again Necrozma’s form like gems from su, is like a body without mass. Cept Necrozma doesn’t poof and can actually like. He can change his form to his liking though in order to change it he needs a source of power. Whether that’s from a sun lion/ night bat or just having a lot of light in him, is all dependent on the situation. 

I might discuss more when I feel like rambling again. 

Mega evolution is a short lasting transformation that powers up a pokemon like in the actual games. 

How do Trials work?

Dependent on who you go to, everyone has their own conditions. Though the basics of the trial are the same as the game. 

Challenge a Trail captain and they’ll have you go through a certain obstacle to get to them. You may encounter people who work alongside the captain in the trial to challenge you. [Sometimes the challenge obstacles may be slightly different than the ones in the game.]

Eventually, challenge the captain him/her/themselves

Win the challenge and you get a Z-Crystal as a prize and an advancement to the other trials

Also! I’d like to mention that also like the original games, Elite four/Champion stuff is a new concept to the island- but is hopefully going to be associated with the trials.
