If I would normally be too afraid or ashamed of something to share, I don't see how now would be a time when I would state such?

I don't particularly care for inheriting my father's business. I'm only doing it because not abiding by his wants and wishes has a far more negative outcome for myself than just doing it.

I wouldn't disregard it in the future at some point. Once I'm out of school and have settled down. I am under no illusion that part of my father's plan for the company is to also include me starting a family, and having a child of my own to then pass the business down to once I also retire. A son, of course.

You haven't ridden off into the sunset with your tail between your legs yet? It'd been so peaceful around here lately without your incessant yapping that I had thought for certain you'd left. I also didn't realise you consisted in the queer male population, but it's certainly one more reason I am glad to not care about it either way. You insist to not envy me, but you've certainly paid enough attention to my relationship status to know exactly who I was referring to, so perhaps you are more envious than you let on. It's okay to be heartbroken, St. James. I would watch what you say about her, though, things may get really ugly.

I'm gonna go ahead and speak for the entire queer male population of Lima that none of us want to touch any part of you even a little bit. Your 5 foot nothing eye roll of a girlfriend can have that all to herself. Honestly, I don't envy you for that either.

Unless you never take notes, I wouldn't say you're super unprepared. If you like, I could help you with some of the Q cards. I would say mostly definitions. But also if there are any important questions that you don't feel confident in knowing immediately, add those in also to really keep things well-rounded. Any sort of buzz words of importance, any particular methods and why they're used. I'm not entirely sure what your curriculum focuses on, so knowing what is of notable importance or not will be mostly on you to recognise.

So really I should've been doing the work all semester so that studying could be easier now. I can do flashcards, at least. I feel like those could be helpful for some of my classes. What kinds of stuff do you put on yours? Just definitions or...?

I do hope you aren't lumping me in there with those that are outside of New Directions and complaining. I was agreeing that the rehearsals are certainly something that could be useful. Which I would comment about any and all clubs, including my own. I do believe we will have a small break, although most members do keep up with rehearing in their own ways over the break. I will most certainly not be caught slacking.

Yes. It might surprise you to know that the people complaining about my request are largely not my teammates. We've improved our choreography since Invitationals and I believe we're truly the ones to watch this year. But what about the Warblers? Any rehearsals over break for you?

Because I wasn't asking so that you would ask me mine in return. If you must know, I was making note for potential gift giving. If there's a chance for something that's not only desired, but also practical to purchase then that's what I like to do. I understand that feeling all too well. I am sorry that you also share those feelings. No-one deserves to feel that way.

Hmm sounds like it's coming up. Not sure how irrelevant that is. Agreed, middle ground would be lovely. Tbh sometimes it feels like my parents don't care about me unless i'm doing well and giving them bragging right so... not sure if that's any better.

Well now, that is entirely irrelevant information for the conversation at hand. But it is January 4th. I do believe others end up on the opposite end of the spectrum where their parents simply do not care if they do well in life or not. So a nice middle ground seems the most desirable. But I will keep it in mind.

I revise all of the lectures throughout the semester, then I highlight what I think it going to be the most important criteria. Then I make cue cards and quiz myself until I know every answer without having to think and second-guess. It takes a while, but I've found to be effective. It certainly works better when you have someone else to work off of.

It does, but even if it didn't you'd be invited, Hunter! What's your studying technique? I'd love some pointers. I feel like at 21 years old I should have it figured out by now, and yet...
