Medicbot!Ellis

HELLO EVERYONELong time no see. I am back and going to try to be more active which may prove to be rather difficult because school has started up again, but I will do my best.

I like the idea of Android!Ellis a lot, I thought it would be funny if he was a a medic robot since he is reckless and… well I mean, he’s got an arm off lol.

I was thinking about the design a lot, and I kind of settled on this because im not very creative, but also because I like the idea of characters having flaws that they can’t really help (if that makes sense). Ellis is a very fragile and faulty type of bot. He is extremely necessary in the world of bots though because he holds plasma which powers the cores of all androids (in my android au anyway haha). It is held in his stomach by a thick, not inflexible container; if this container is broken, it may be lethal if not handled carefully and in a timely matter.

The medicbots contain a copious amount of plasma, and in times of war, they are often scarce due to the fact that a medicbots own plasma is held in that container as well. In dire situations, the medicbot will willingly give up their own plasma to save another bot

I imagine plasma as being kind of like Adam from Bioshock, “Everybody wants it; everybody needs it.” Which is why I decided to give Ellis that glitchy stutter as well; too many scuffles with other bots trying to get his plasma.

This is really convoluted, but I had a lot of fun drawing this.

ALSO: His parts are supposed to be red, but I can’t tell if theyre red or orange, cause I’ve trouble discerning between some colors, so I apologize. I hope you all enjoy anyway. <3

Naked Nick

Also an explanation for my absence.

Hey everybody, what’s going on. I’m dropping this here as a peace offering of sorts and also because I’m pretty proud of it despite my lack of practice with anatomy. It’s very sketchy, but I just wanted to get the lighting down rather then have fine lines.

I also wanted to explain as to why I haven’t posted anything in quite a while. Things have been pretty rough for me these past few months and are only now starting to cool down, so I’ve found it very difficult to stay motivated and not hate everything I’ve drawn. I promise, I did try drawing the asks/prompts that all of you lovely folks have sent me, I tried, but I didn’t want to put out a half-assed response due to my lack of motivation, because those aren’t fun, for anyone and I want to give you all better. So, I’m going to be drawing as much as I can while school is out for the semester, though if I’m slow still, I apologize, I’m also trying to find a job.

So! I extend to you, my dearest followers, my olive branch of peace that is this naked Nick pic.

Android!Nick/Ellis sketches

Nobody asked for these, but I was messing around with my brush settings and these happened. AND IUNNO WHY I MADE ELLIS NAKEY OKAY, I’d make the whole ‘oops my hand slipped’ joke, but it took me two days to draw these so no one would believe my hand slipped for two days. Welp. Anyway. Enjoy the naked mechanic and his robo-boyfriend... roboyfriend... you get the point.

ALSO! I am going to go through with the whole prompt thing I posted about. So if you guys have anything you want to see draw of Nick and Ellis then hit me up! Though please try to avoid sending me NSFW prompts, once I get better at anatomy I will consider drawing that sort of stuff.

So I’ve been thinking

Hey guys, what’s going on. 

First of all, sorry, I’ve been slow with responses and my comic because of school, but I’ve been thinking for a while about this and wanted to see what you guys thought. It occurred to me that I don’t really draw enough straight up Nellis, so... Would you guys be down with me taking prompts? Prompts as in: scenarios, aus, ideas that you guys have and things like that. Those may be slow to come as well (because college and all pffft) but it sounds fun, so why not, right? If you guys are down with this, let me know!

What’s going on everybody, sorry this took me so long! I’ve been really unmotivated lately and I don’t know why. Getting through it though. I’m also sorry that I’m not very good at this whole comic thing, cause I’ve got a story (kinda) but I’m not very good at laying things out, haha. More to come! A bit of a delay!

Hey everyone, as you probably know already, I am currently working on a Nellis fancomic! I expected to have the second page done by tonight, but I’ve been working on one panel for a while because it’s an interior of a car garage and it’s in a strange perspective. SO that has been eating up a lot of my time because I keep going back to fix things. I’m not confident with buildings and perspective and I think it’s going to show. ;n;

((I’m guessing that this is in regards to my last post! I’m glad my comic interests so many people!! There will, indeed, be more where that came from, but since it’s my first attempt at something like this, updates may be slow, and the panels might look a little boring, but I’ll learn as I go!
