The air ghoul crept towards the confessional booths half an hour before they closed for the night. It was almost midnight by now, the cold stones of the chapel floor absorbing the almost silent padding of the ghoul's unglamored paws as they creaked open the door to the second booth and slid in with a shakey breath. They were hoping that Primo or Secondo was in charge tonight, or even Copia. "Uhm... so how does this start? Forgive me father for I have well... sinned and I'm rather uh, ashamed?" They were staring at the floor of the booth, playing with their tail anxiously before sighing and looking at the ceiling. "Well... I feel guilty but its- uh it's complicated?"

Confessions were always a welcome at the ministry. After all the whole place still operated as a monastery. Just with a little bit more satanism so there definitely would be some sort of confession and penance masses held every six or so months. Just because this place was a place of sin, that didn’t mean you could just straight up forget all ways of being a human. And these confessions held more merit to them rather than a Christian confession session.

If someone needed to rant or vent any frustrations out, they could do it. There was always a box of tissues and a case of water for both Terzo and anyone who was at the confessional at the time. He knew it was a very emotional time for some. Mainly for the children of darkness that participated in this. He knew how scared they were during their first confession and he was no stranger to give them a treat for being brave.

But nothing would have prepared him for what was to come next. As he sat in his side of the confessional, he looked at the mesh screen seeing it was a ghoul and not a human. He wanted to remain professional, but sometimes these long hours have gotten to him. And he definitely was getting a tad restless over the last few weeks of sitting through mindless clergy meetings and having to sign multiple requests and order forms. And when how busy Omega had been with training Aether with the infirmity, there was no doubt he had been pent up too. But he had to push those thoughts away and proceed with the ritual.

“Good evening, are you well?” He asked as he broke the silence thinking it was one of the new ghouls he had. Maybe it was the kid that he mistakenly summoned? Or maybe it was Omega surprising him for a little role playing. He only waited for the response from the other side.
