[The demeanor of the strange pokemon eased more of the Absol's perceived tensions as he did a once over of the beast, nodding to the answers as he stood up and walked into the jungle underbrush nearby. He was just enough in that the shadows blanketed his form, but still close enough to be heard and seen by Mewtwo.]

[With a swift swing of his head his horn made contact with the trunk of a thicker tree, the resounding and repetitive THWACK travelling for some distance in the overgrowth before being swallowed entirely.]

I'm establishing a communication line, with other Absol in the area. They'll alert the humans who live here so they can be of help. It's easier and quicker than sending just one 'mon to relay information.

[Riku had noticed some stains which he presumed were from injuries of some sort, however he was gracious enough to spare them their pride.]

They'll need to know if you're injured, and where. The more information you're willing to give me about yourself, the better.

uh… Mewtwo? you might want to be careful around here… there could be some Pokemon around that would be… less than pleased to see you in their territory…

Turning their attention to the shadowy figure, Mewtwo’s mind raced.

The stinging pain of their injury was still throbbing on their leg. Their flight to the cave didn’t help their fatigue. They were in no position to fight, and they certainly didn’t want to fight!

Instinct took over, and the Mewtwo hunched up to make themselves appear intimidating.

Chchchchchch!! The Pokemon began chattering its teeth, only making their failed display of a threat even sillier.

Taking to the skies, the disguised Mewtwo spots a rather large looking cave system.

Swooping down, the Mewtwo enters the cave with a loud THUD.

Quiet. Empty. A good place to hide out.

Or so they think.

Little do they realize they are being watched…

What exactly has the pink thing done to you besides waking you up? The pink thing, Mew, is worried about you. I feel like there is some kind of misunderstanding.

Stop talking! I’m tired of you all! I’m tired of being treated like some kind of anomaly that needs to be rescued or coddled! I’m not some freak.

I can handle myself! The scientists new that. They treated me well. The lab was home, and the humans were my family and friends. They loved me.

Not that Mew, or you, or anyone else! Will you all leave me alone if I look “normal” enough for you?!?

I’ll find a human. Someone that can actually help me and not just interrogate me! Someone who can help me be normal again.

Mewtwo used transform! Mewtwo has disguised their true form.

Exhaustion began to take over the Mewtwo’s body. Losing altitude, the Pokemon tried their best to locate a safe spot to land. Luckily, a sandy coast slowly started to come into vision.

It wasn’t long before the Mewtwo crashed into the beach. They laid still on the sand, unmoving. Gentle waves lapped at the shore as the sun finally climbed high enough in the sky to illuminate the Earth.

The Mewtwo failed to notice Joey and the Mew landing nearby. The Mew ever so gently landed on the beach, with Joey taking a tumble as his bubble prison popped.

“GEEZ! Let’s NOT do that again. I don’t think my little body can handle it…” Joey whined.

The Mew responded with a curt “SHH!” as they gazed at their child lying on the shore.

Completely ignoring the Mew’s request for silence, Joey continued to speak.

“You know… I get the feeling it doesn’t like you a lot.” the Rattata chirped. “I mean, look! It totally wiped out trying to get away from us!”

The Mew remained motionless, a brief glimpse of sadness flashing across their face.

“But uh, y’know… me and that thing. We’re both ‘chimeras’. Made the same way. Let me see if I can go break the ice with it.”

(@askstormscall) Susano @ Nate and Crew: Watching the dragons battle, the old Legend felt an itch. It had been a long time since the Lugia had the urge to fight. There was a look towards the Rayquaza, Queztal overhead. They had no intentions of battling full out, this island wouldn't be able to handle it. Maybe just a taste of it. There was a slight smile as the Lugia spoke addressing the human. "I wish to battle. I will not go overboard but perhaps they would not mind testing their mettle against the likes of me." A grin, a show of teeth as the Lugia spread their wings.

[Before Nat could form much of a response, a clamor of heavy footfalls drew closer and passed him by.]
