My personal hc’s just on another account that is now dedicated to cowboys lmao
Give me your unpopular Chronicles of Narnia opinions!
I'll go first, I actually liked The Voyage of the Dawn Treader movie better than the book. Also, Caspian in the books has the personality of a sack of potatoes. Movie Caspian is interesting personality wise, but book Caspian is really boring for the most part.

A Casmund redraw!!!
I did a dance scene with them in 2015, and I'm happy to see how I've grown as an artist despite the 3 years I spent without drawing.

Please do start. Give me your Susan thoughts please please please please i love narnia but don't really interact w the fandom so i dont totally know what is up w them but i wanna know what u think. Nothing i love more than reading long posts about people's thoughts on characters fr fr please rant to your heart's content <3
oh my goodness, you are the best kind of person, ready to hear other people's opinions even if you don't agree just because you want to understand what/how/why they think, teach me to be like you- Okay, I'll try! Be prepared for me to get vitriolic. I get that way about this stuff.
Listen, I wrote a huge response to this and as ever, Tumblr tried to break and not let me post it. So instead of shortening it, I took screenshots of my answer and Google's angry spellcheck lines and placed them below. Happy reading!
[proper non-screenshot link to what my friend said about Susan having always been that person]
#absolutely love the break downs of Lucy’s character#actually very insightful#the whole thing about how each pevensie makes the faith their own is such a great take I never even thought about#Susan my beloved

One of the most annoying points of the “Nylons and Lipstick” discussion, and the “Problem of Susan” in general, is that everyone who claims Lewis was sexist or that Susan was “kicked out of Narnia” for her femininity, is completely overlooking her reign as a Queen in the Golden Age and what we learn about her: Susan was always feminine. She was always known to be beautiful, not only “accidentally beautiful” but actually caring about what she looked like, she preferred not to fight, despite having the ability to do so (unlike Lucy, who went to battles just like the men), she was very social, she was very mature - she grew up to be just the way she did in England, the only difference being her faith in Aslan, and in Narnia. She cared about invitations in Narnia, and she would have cared about nylons and lipstick, had these things existed in Narnia - she did care about their equivalents, the fashion and beauty of her time and place. And that didn’t “kick her out of Narnia”, that didn’t make her a lesser Queen, or a lesser Friend of Narnia. Nobody thought about her badly because of it - no other character, and not Lewis as the narrator. The only difference between the Narnian and the English Susan is, that the English Susan stopped believing in actual events of her own past, and even more and worse so, in Narnia and in Aslan. That is all.
#wowowow I never had a bad impression of Susan or the way she was written#but I completely misconstrued CS Lewis’ intention with her!#I’m glad to have read this because it does clarify a lot about her character#CS Lewis write excellent female characters but Susan was the one I had the most trouble understanding#love the clarification
