We’d also like to welcome another wonderful person to the Marsfall cast: Darin F. Earl II who will voice Sergeant Ferris, one of our newly featured soldiers from Sequoia’s Battalion!

Sergeant Ferris is rather gruff, but it comes from a deep place of caring deeply for his fellow troops. Similar to the Captain of the Guard, his rank falls right below LTC Melissa Walker, and there will definitely be some shifting power dynamics in play during our upcoming episodes.

Darin is thrilled to join the Marsfall family. Primarily a NJ theatre artist, they’ve been featured on audio dramas such as Cocotazo Media's "Timestorm" as Idrissa, Oh the Fool's "Sonderville" as Hugh, and will be featured on Goosethunder's "Human Error." Darin's performed & collaborated with The New Jersey PlayLab, The New Jersey Creative Arts Collaborative, New Jersey Repertory Theatre, Dreamcatcher Rep, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, and Luna Stage.

As far as I am concerned, she has nights where they make food from the cultures of each respective kid. And she makes sure all her kids maintain their dual citizenship (where they’re from and US) & visit often. Jolie is an exception, she doesn’t steal, she respects, embraces and accepts. She raises her children with understanding and compassion of people of different race and culture. Bravo.

Character Design Appreciation Post: Tira

Continuing my look back at the various designs of the returning characters of SCVI’s roster, today we’re looking at the game’s first DLC character, Tira. Introduced in SCIII, the mentally unstable Tira gleefully spread chaos and violence in servitude to the evil sword Soul Edge. When it comes to choosing a favorite among her costumes, like with Zasalamel, I feel they really hit home the first time with her SCIII costume. The torn and stitched up look, the feathers and the overall green color scheme really make it work for me. Her new costume is a close second though since it takes a lot of the elements I enjoy from the original along with some interesting new ones (like the bird skulls). Tira is a character that didn’t take very long to get a lot of attention (as shown by the likes of Juri Han and Harley Quinn, psycho girls are easy sells) so her return for VI was pretty much inevitable. And, while I’m sure some are less than happy about her being DLC rather in the base roster, it’s still good to see the ring blade wielding psycho path step into the arena of souls once more.
