Pevensie siblings as the 4 elements of Avatar : The Last Air Bender (my version) :
Peter – Fire🔥
Firebending represents drive and willpower. Peter, as High King, carries the burden of responsibility and leadership. He sometimes acts impulsively, but it’s always out of a sense of duty.
Edmund – Earth🪨
Earthbending reflects stability and endurance. Edmund undergoes a major moral journey, starting with betrayal and ending in redemption. Like an earthbender, he becomes grounded, dependable, and unshakable in his values.
Lucy – Air💨
Airbending is rooted in freedom, spirituality, and peace. Lucy sees the best in everyone, holding onto faith and joy even in darkness. Her purity of heart aligns perfectly with the Air Nomad philosophy of detachment from fear and living in harmony.
Susan – Water🌊
Waterbending is about adaptability and healing. Susan is the voice of reason and often takes on a protective role. She’s emotionally intelligent, which resonates with the waterbenders’ value of connection and balance.

"Susan didn't go to Aslan's Country because she didn't die in the train crash, not because she was being punished for liking girly things"
"Susan stopping believing in Narnia was supposed to represent C.S. Lewis during his atheist phase"
"Susan is the only one alive in her family because her story isn't over yet. C.S. Lewis stated she would find her own way to Aslan's Country one day"
Me *cleaning my throat*: GUYS, GUYS. WAIT A MINUTE, PLEASE. YOU DIDN'T GET IT. This is not about a lack of interpretation skills. I'm already aware of all that. The point is that none of these explanations makes me any less furious about what happened to Susan. Believe me, I'm not angry at C.S. Lewis because I think he's sexist or because I don't understand the message he was originally trying to pass. I'm expressing my anger and indignation because making my poor girl go through this kind of suffering is too cruel and she deserves better. IT'S JUST THAT SIMPLE. I'm expressing my anger and indignation yes, but I'm doing it consciously, and by my own free will, okay? So don't worry about me guys 👍.
#okay that’s valid#the chronicles of narnia#chronicles of narnia#narnia#c.s. lewis#susan pevensie#that’s maybe the only valid take#it’s fine if you’re upset on her behalf#because obviously it is tragic#and I would argue that it is not pointless to the plot…#to those who would say that#because that’s the point of tragedy#to be heartbreaking#and to emphasize the obvious Christian allegory

✨ Redesigning the Coronation Parade Outfits in Prince Caspian (2008) ✨ And here's all of them!
Ever since 2009 or 2010, the coronation parade outfits had bugged me with reasons I cannot identify. I've always thought that 'if I designed it, I would have it look like...' and so on. But now that I had evolved into a fan artist, I realized that I can now do that. Hence, this.
Here's the breakdown on how I came up with all the design. I want to again say that I have zero background in costume design, so I relied only on the internet for history.
Thank you so much to everyone who showed (and will show) appreciation to this little draw series of mine. Narnia has been a part of me for more than half of my lifetime and it's such a joy to be able to create art for it.
Also, happy 14th anniversary to The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader!
Note: I am so open to requests. Recently, I received one request for a redesign of Lucy's Dawn Treader costume. And while it wasn't part of the plan, I still decided to give it a try and it was quite fun throwing in some of my headcanons during the conceptualization process.

one of my absolute favorite details in the "prince caspian" movie is the moment where caspian shows the siblings the stone table, and everything is lit up. lucy is the only one of her siblings to approach the stone table, and the other three do not follow until she's right up against it. she's the only sibling that we see who actually sits on the table in the following war council scene. she's almost laying down on the table, completely content to sit there, but we never see her siblings sitting on the table or on the steps of the table. in the war council scene, susan and edmund are sitting on the columns on either side of the table while peter is talking. (i will very much be making a separate post about that one scene bc there is SO much there that i need to talk about)
the only time we see one of the siblings sitting at the table with lucy is after the attempted resurrection of the white witch, and peter sits with lucy. however, he only does so after she pulls him over.
it's one of my favorite details both in the books and in the movies, that lucy's siblings never once are shown to be jealous or angry at her closeness with aslan. there's an understanding there, that, while they're all aslan's chosen and the kings and queens of the prophecy, lucy is aslan's dear one. with the table, there's an immediate, unspoken thing amongst the siblings that if any of them have the right to sit on the table, it's lucy
#this is interesting#but I also interpret it as the other sibling’s reluctance#their journeys (especially Peter’s!!!) in this movie and their faith in Aslan#like Lucy is constantly trying to remind her sibling to rely on Aslan#to Lean on Aslan#as she reclines on the Stone Table#it’s as if her siblings are afraid of the Table#afraid of what it means#afraid of what it symbolizes#and Lucy is not#obvious religious symbolism I know#but still#I think it’s important from an in world perspective as well

I'm so tired of people reblogging my Narnia stuff and bitching in the tags about movie!Peter being different to book!Peter, as if that's actually something bad. Oh, so you prefer King Peter™ with no trace of real child in him? You prefer the Peter whose personality is Knight in Shining Armour and nothing more? You prefer the Peter who never does anything wrong? You think giving him flaws was a bad thing? You think giving him flaws that contrast and parallel with and mutually feed into Edmund's flaws, thereby developing their characters and relationship, was a bad thing? You think making Peter a character who tries to do right by everyone but ends up hurting other people sometimes is a bad writing decision? You think making a thirteen-year-old boy kinda stupid in some ways was a bad writing decision? You don't like the Peter that's actually funny, both in a laughing with him and laughing at him way? Fine. Think that. Prefer the tired perfect king all you want. But don't come onto my posts making jokes about him being kinda stupid and bitch about it.

I saw some people pissed by Agatha not getting a redemption arc at the end of the series, but the real reason is: she shouldn't get one.
She killed so many witches and did terrible things and nothing is going to change that at the end of the day.
I think what they gave us e so much stronger, you see how she’s filled with trauma and can't make herself trust anyone besides herself and her son.
She doesn’t kill witches, because she feels like. She’s a succumbs, she needs the energy in order to survive and that’s something her mother could never understand.
After she figured out how to control her powers I’m sure she could have joined a coven and she’d receive help from them.
But who would trust a kind of witch who has a defense as an attack? And how could Agatha trust anyone after her own coven and mother tried to kill her?
Redemption arcs are more times than not extremely forced, people’s actions shouldn’t be forgiven by a single action. They made us understand Agatha as a whole character, with flaws, traumas and depth and know that, ultimately, her life lead her into doing terrible things, that have no excuse.

agatha finale rant
so I’ve been seeing a lot of people complaining about the finale of Agatha and I wanted to give my two cents on their main points:
1. “they used agatha’s show as a way to promote a man!!” well yes! that’s how marvel tv works im afraid. or any tv, really. wandavision was used to introduce agatha and monica, which led to their projects in the mcu (aaa, marvels). agatha introduced billy, leading to his future in visionquest or his solo series, which will introduce tommy and vision, which will lead to children’s crusade to reintroduce wanda. this is common for any tv show, but especially a big, connected franchise like marvel. i find it so concerning that even after all the promotion that showed us billy and agatha as co-leads, people were STILL shocked when the finale sets up a future story centered around him. like i hate to break it to yall but marvel wants money. and more shows means more money.
2. “they killed off a lesbian woman and not the gay man!” first of all, in the comics, agatha is a spirit guide for the scarlet witch. this form is her most comic accurate yet. also, did yall really think that was an unfair ending? or an ending PERIOD? all her death made me think of was the possibilities for the future with both billy AND rio. and again; rio was promoted as the ‘antagonist’ to agatha since the beginning. i don’t know how people went into this excepting a happily ever after for these two. they were always depicted as tragic lovers, and i honestly think the kiss of death was beautiful and poetic. i also don’t think this is the last we’re seeing of rio. and, as a side note, homophobia is still not okay! it doesn’t matter if you’re also gay; lesbians can be homophobic towards gay men, and gay men can be lesbophobic towards lesbians. and i’ve seen wayyyy too much of both in this fanbase. you can criticize characters and critique actors without bringing up their sexuality. we have enough incel homophobes doing that for us
3. if you’re still complaining about wanda not coming back i have no hope for you
4. this show, since day ZERO, was promoted as a show with billy and agatha as coleads. while i wish we had more backstory for how agatha and rio met, the salem flashbacks involving nicholas, the road scheme, and the song were much more important to the show. the parallels between nicky and billy were explored throughout the season a lot more than agatha and rios story (whether or not you like it, it’s still true (i personally wish we had a bit more on how they met 😭))
5. sending hate to actors about things their characters did is STILL not okay! and never will be!
6. this might be a hot take but if you’re only watching a show for a ship and don’t care about the story at all your opinion is irrelevant to me. like people who started watching after it was revealed in the show that agatha and rio were lovers (because, correct me if i’m wrong, this was never revealed before the episodes dropped) have no right to be upset when the show focuses on other things. and this is coming from a MASSIVE fan of agathario. and a lesbian. i loved the fact that i was watching characters who just happened to be lesbians have their own story. yes, i wish there was more agathario in the flashbacks. but i’m really not upset at all by what we got. and don’t get me wrong, people have every right to be disappointed, but they don’t have the right to hate on the creators and actors of the show. that’s not cool.
this is way longer than i thought it was gonna be 😭😭 hope everyone enjoyed the finale

Love that Agatha did not get much of a redemption arc. She is kind of evil. She is kind of an asshole. She is still avoiding paying her dues to her wife and kid.

I feel like some of y'all don't know what a good ending to a show is??? Now I'm not saying amazing, awe-inspiring, never been done before ending. But also not bad... Something genuinely good.
Like ppl complaining about post credits? A) everyone's been complaining about there being too many B) Of course there's not one right now, there's so many current projects in development that it would be silly (especially since there's only one tangently related to Agatha)
And I understand being disappointed that there's not a ton of Agatha/Rio backstory, but disappointment shouldn't = bad. And I feel like even that is kind of disengenuous. There's only so much time in the episodes, and they both mostly focused on Agatha. (Granted the Nicky section was long) And there was so much queerness in the show to be mad about a lack of it feels like ppl are trying to find something to complain about when everything that happened was perfectly acceptable, and simply good.
Am I left wanting more? Yeah a little, but a good show is supposed to do that. I felt closure for every character, and that a full story was told, ups downs and a satisfying ending included.
