This is pretty short i just wanted to get a post out as soon as i could after my little introduction so have a bit of Childe fluff!

Childe was a well known figure in Liyue, he was charming, charismatic and social, of course everyone knew of him. He was the complete opposite of his partner, [m/n]. As they say, opposites attract. Today was no different than any other, Childe was out performing his harbinger duties and [m/n] stayed home, currently preparing for his partners return. It had been a long week and all [m/n] wanted was some alone time with his beloved boyfriend. Of course today was one of the very rare occasions when Childe had been caught up in some ‘trouble’ and had to stay behind for a while longer. It was starting to get dark outside, as the residents of Liyue Harbour starting to settle back into the their houses, Childe had still not come home. It wasn’t unusual per say but this specific day [m/n] had been craving his partners attention ten times more than usual. He decided to sit down in their living room and continue reading the book he’d borrowed from Lisa a few days prior. Minutes passed which turned to hours as Childe was still at work, eventually giving up waiting for him, [m/n] went up to their shared bedroom and fell asleep alone, thinking of his boyfriends safe return. It was around midnight now, the lands of Teyvat were covered in darkness, the archons of the celestia watching over the land below, and Childe was finally returning home to his lover. He knew he was late and that [m/n] was probably worrying for him but he couldn’t go against the Tsaritsa’s orders. Quietly, he opened the door to their shared apartment putting in effort to make the least noise possible as he took his jacket and shoes off in the entrance of the door. After checking all the rooms downstairs to make sure his lover didn’t fall asleep waiting for his arrival, he headed upstairs. The bedroom door was left open revealing [m/n] comfortably asleep, his arms open as if searching for something-no someone to hold. Childe had intended on taking a shower before joining his lover but the sight was too welcoming, he barely managed to get changed into his night clothes before snuggling into the arms of his lover, it was the perfect fit his arms were deigned to be wrapped around him, his heart was exactly next to Childes ear, the heartbeat slowly lulling him to sleep. Both lovers lay in each others arms in their shared Liyue apartment, sure maybe life wasn’t perfect but they always managed to save these little moments together.
