My mom's boss asked her if I could design a comment card box for his business and that it should be Alaskan themed, my first thought when I was told what the theme should be was "salmon" since that's the state fish and pretty much what it's known for. It needs some touching up and it's currently unfinished but so far it looks great (I don't really draw fish very often so I needed a reference image from good ol' moogle so the salmon look a bit wonky)

So, when I first started posting here, someone asked me IN MY D,M'S if I was available for commissions. I never answered and pretty much left it alone but it made me very uncomfortable nonetheless. So I want to tell anyone willing to listen, that I am in fact NOT available for commissions. And here are my reasons why:

№1: I am not a trusting person online, I pretty much only have two public accounts online and they're never used for chatting it up with strangers. So I pretty much have online social anxiety.

№2: Scammers. Again relating to the first reason, there are so many online scams out there and I've had to deal with my fair share of spam calls/emails that it makes me skeptical of every comment I get asking me about commissions.

№3: Privacy. Pretty self-explanatory in of itself, I will not tell my age(I'm not stupid) but I will say that I am definitely under the legal drinking age in red white and blue land. Again, all this is related to my (frankly understandable) distrust of online strangers.

So yeah, don't DM me in general unless I know who you are irl and don't ask me about commissions until I'm ready for that hustle.

Remy thinking he can cover his tracks by pulling the "I'm a victim too🥺" card is just sickening. Even if he was telling the truth, it doesn't make it okay at all, and him saying it's okay because it's fictional is the classic proshipper way of saying "I don't care if this normalizes these disgusting things that happen to thousands of people around the world because I don't think media output affects the real world even though it's been proven time and time again that the media we put out and consume does in fact affect our view of the world" and if this is his coping mechanism, all this does is repeat the cycle of abuse. I hope Remy gets the help he needs but it doesn't look like that will happen until he's far too gone.
