It’s modelled exactly from Texas’s unconstitutional bullshit bill. Anyone who opposes the constitutionality of this bill would also be calling into question the anti-abortion bill.

Rick Snyder gets shredded on Capitol Hill: ‘You’re dripping with guilt but drawing your salary’

Michigan Governor Rick Snyder testified this Thursday at a Flint congressional hearing over the water crisis. Snyder, who oversaw the state while its residents were being poisoned by the bacteria and lead-infested water, was the subject of harsh criticism from Congressmen Matt Cartwright who believes that the governor knew more than what he is saying about the tainted water supply.

Roasted. Thank you, Rep. Cartwright. It was thoroughly enjoyable to watch this criminal be told he’s a phony and a liar to his face. Snyder’s led a privileged life where he’s never been in a position to be chastised by anyone, and he certainly deserved this one given that 100,000 people were poisoned under his watch. #Hate it!

I want a “queer eye” spin-off where ecologists, urban planners, gardeners, socialists/anarchists/community organizers get together to ‘makeover’ outdoor spaces. The neighborhood that’s in a food desert? Build them a huge urban garden. The soybean farmer who was sued in to oblivion for not using Monsanto beans? Build him a wind farm and hook him into the local grid.  That local river that has been polluted for decades? They work with the local high school robots team to build a filtering robot. That rural town with no internet access? Build them a local, high-speed network. There would be a core group of organizers who work with locals, but they could also bring in specialists depending on the problem they were trying to solve. Can you image a show that treated local issues/civil activism the same way it does people in need of a ‘make over’??

I don’t normally post Twitter threads but the president of the United states called the Georgia Secretary of State to coerce him into “finding” the exact number of votes he needs to win the state. This confirms that Donald Trump truly believes he won the election, and that he is willing to break the law to stay in power
