Wedding Dress UPDATE !

So I got the fabric I needed for my dress. Now I just have to wait for my corset and slip to get here ! Yaaay :D

My Cheap Wedding Dress In Process .

Like I said before, getting married and having a baby is not cheap . Especially when your young and doing it all on your own . But luckily there are affordable ways to stay fabulous and not be broke on my big wedding day :) I've always enjoyed making my own clothes . So of course I'm going to use my talent to save money on my wedding dress . I am going to create my own dress with a $200 budget . Sounds impossible but it's not ! I'm making my dreams happen for my big day and you can too ! :D

Every girl wants to wear a dress like this on her big day . This dress will make any girl feel elegant, beautiful, and simply like a princess . BUT AS IF ! THIS dress cost $1150.00 and with my fiances landscaping income buying this dress will take 3 years . Only in my glittery glamorous dreams would I have this dress in my hands by May 25th !

But hope is not lost ! I'm going to make an even better dress that will be waaaaay less expensive than this . I've already ordered the top of my dress ! :D

It is a white lace heart shape corset. I got it for only $35.00 at corset-story.com ! Now you can't beat that ! The bottom of my dress is will be a long ball gown trail style. I already orded the slip for only $40.31 from lightinthebox.com

In total I have spent $75.31 ! :D A lot cheaper than $1150.00 right ? ! Now all I need to find is some cheap white silk material to sew over the top of my slip . See , having the dress of my dreams is possible and it's possible for you too . Never let money hold you back from getting what you want . In reality there is not such think as impossible .

Young Love . . . IS EXSPENSIVE ! O.O

Whoever was the first person to say they don't need anything but love was absolutely FABULOUS ! :D But obviously that person had never actually been in love . When you love someone and commit to them you need EVERYTHING . Skylar and I started with nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING . We still can't believe that we have an actual bed instead of having to sleep on a loveseat. Not to mention the joy of having an actual ROOM & DOOR ! Back then living with nothing was okay because we had each other, so yeah love was all we needed :) BUT WAKE UP CALL ! We found out I was pregnant and trust me there was no extra room for a baby on that loveseat . We're having a baby and getting married . And HONEY this shit is not cheap ! But luckily I am finding ways to ball on a budget . . . my fiances landscaping budget that is . When your young and in love it's not easy . But we refuse to hold out our hands and ask others for help because that's just not cute ! We're getting everything we need done on our own .

My names is Athalyah . Athalyah means to shelter, to stop from doing evil, queen. Sounds complicated & hard to pronounce huh ? Good ;) Because like my name I am also unique . I'm 18 years old & I live in Atlanta, GA . I just recently moved here with my fiance Skylar from New Orleans <3 when we found out I was pregnant with our daughter Bayla , but I'll save all that for another post :D My personality is wacky as hell haha . But despite all my weirdness & my hard to pronounce name (lol) my life is amazing , the love I have is real , & I'm fabulous ! :D
