gosh I really should like
actually write and add the new verse to my verses page wow
it's been a concept for a while but I've only recently put it into action, especially because there's a planned ship attached to it with a close friend of mine
I'll try to think of how I want to write it and of course talk to that friend about how she might want me to word things since it'll pertain heavily to a character she writes too

"I suppose such selfish feelings can arise in anyone..."
She's fighting it, and she knows she'll win. She's done enough selfish actions in her life. Selfish actions that lead to the destruction of Hyrule, a selfish action that was why she was here in the first place. Sending Link to a timeline she created for him. That was why she had to leave Hyrule. That was why she had to look all over the very world.
She had to find the dark entity that haunted her dreams. She couldn't risk Ganon taking another form. But...
No. She shook her head.
A perfect princess doesn't show emotion. She shows kindness, gentility. A figurehead. Flawless appearance, never a hair out of place. That was the role she had been born into. The role she had been conditioned into. The role she would continue, for as long as she lived.
No more selfishness.

"...Oh, I do apologize. I did not notice you standing there."
A proper bow of the head.
...Hopefully her previous words hadn't been overheard. She had been speaking quietly to herself.

"It does quite so amuse me, what others decide based on my status."
And by amuse, she means annoyed her. But as the saying goes, kill them with kindness. A princess was to be polite, even in the face of adversity, and danger.
"Oh, the looks I have gotten when I have proven myself a competent chef. A practical skill, would you not agree? Why rely on staff, what you can learn for yourself? The joy and expression you can give through your culinary practices, I feel as though nothing compares. If fate had been different, I would have loved to be a baker. Magical ability is not strictly for combat. It has practical uses, too, and the kitchen, or a campfire is the perfect place to make use of it."

Such a sense of relief.
This was why she'd chosen Nabooru as the one person she could tell this to. The only person she could tell this to. Someone who wouldn't treat her differently for her status. Someone who wouldn't look at her and say she couldn't fend for herself, simply due to her ethereal beauty, from voice, to movement, to appearance alone. This woman knew her. Since her younger days, this woman knew her.
Maybe that was how Zelda knew she'd understand.

"Nothing would make me happier. No fighter is without his, or her limits. I knew you'd understand my feelings."
Just another reason it was going to be very easy to explain everything. No one to tell her she was right simply because she was the princess. No one to tell her she was wrong for this journey she was about to embark upon. But someone who would give a true, honest, wholehearted opinion.
The deep blue of her eyes closed. Even that was enough for her to feel it. Darkness. Darkness that not only threatened the country, but the world itself. She long since understood that her judgements on Ganondorf based on his eyes were wrong, when she'd been a child. And heavens above knew she understood that the tragedy of which had befallen Hyrule was all her doing. To be a child was no excuse for what she had done.
But she'd already messed with the natural state of the timeline enough. No more. She would make up for her mistakes, and she would fight to keep not just Hyrule, but the world safe from this presence. Zelda was the last who bore the mark of the Triforce, with Link gone, and Ganondorf under her seal. This was something only she could do.
Gentle as it was, the royal's long, golden hair swayed with the grace of a Goddess. Eyes opened, a smile replaced by a frown of concern.

"I cannot distinguish what it is. What I sense is too vague, that is why I must seek it out for myself. Whatever it may be, it has malicious intent. Malicious intent towards the entire planet on which we live. I vow to destroy this presence. I'm tired of seeing the suffering so many endure, no matter how hard I try to fix it. To act as diplomat is generally what I do. Words can be sharp as any blade, but no speech will protect the lives of others.
That is why I have to go."
Not like she wasn't used to extreme responsibility at a young age. Even now, Zelda was only nineteen. Thrust into a position of so many responsibilities, after seven years of hiding. Her conviction. Her determination, and her sheer spirit of will. All of it was unwavering. Her choice to do this wasn't to be treated as the princess who stopped a great threat.
It was out of her love for the world.
"To perform such an action, even for a woman of my magical abilities, is like fighting the heavens themselves. But I will not stand behind a guard's protection, and allow them to die in my stead. My status is nothing more than a title, and I will not allow anymore needless bloodshed."
Not even Zelda was without fears. But the safety of others would always come first.
"Words do not describe my gratitude towards you. Tonight, I will leave Hyrule. As sorely as I know I will miss it, I am certain that someday, I will return."
" Not by choice. "
A short response, matter-of-fact but honest. Despite the change in leadership of both of their lands and the optimistic part of her insisting the vitriol lashed against her people eased, she still did not seek out the lush green fields of Hyrule, the bustling streets of Castle Town, or the cascading rivers and pure lakes anymore than she used to. In fact, she had less freedom to leave the desert than she ever did, though such a realization did not bother her. At least by choice.
Now, she typically only breached the borders of the valley when called upon, whether to tend to diplomatic matters or meetings called with the other Sages. The desert was her home and called to her like a siren's song she could not close her ears to. And with so much more access to it, she would rather explore its depths than waste what precious free time she had in a land her people could never call their own. In one that, no matter now they begged and pleaded with the nobility, would not be shared with them. Not even a scrap to bolster their own survival.
She still struggled to see Hyrule's beauty when it caused her and her people so much pain.

" I'm happy to help. Though, with more eyes on you now, it is much harder to sneak you out of the castle than it was when you were a vehvi. " She let her gaze rove over the fields stretching as far as the eye could see before them, the gentle breeze rolling through the grass like silver waves. " I don't suppose you plan on telling me what all this is about, then? I won't interfere, but it wouldn't hurt to have someone that knows what you're up to. In the off chance you do need a bit of backup. "

Some people might find it silly but I've taken to studying characterization of a character more deep and complex than any I've ever written, and it's a very fun challenge that's increasing my versatility as a writer as I continue to learn
for anyone interested in writing with me there, the blog is
right here
If you're not, that's fine too <3
This post is mainly saying how pretty much all my other blogs will be low activity until I feel inspired for them again, including Zelda. I'm having fun writing an archetype I've never touched in all my 10+ years of writing. It's a challenge of thought, and I'm not going to stop studying, and learning.
How else will I be an author someday if I don't learn versatility, proper character depth, and breaking out of my comfort zone?

@gerudospiriit... I beg of you, keep my secret I feel only you could understand
"Do you experience the grasses of these fields more often, these days?"
It wasn't going to be easy to leave, but... there was nothing she wouldn't do for the world. Not just Hyrule. Hands coming to rest against her chest, she was aware that there was no sense hiding anything. The other Sages were her only real friends. The only ones who saw past her title. And Nabooru was one of the only ones who would even call her by name, instead of princess.
Zelda was completely mindful of the rules in place. It didn't make it feel any less like she wasn't a true person when others were afraid to use her name, as though it were some kind of crime.
So she turns to the taller woman.
"I do apologize for the sudden actions that must be taken, but I must leave Hyrule, for a time. Darkness clouds my dreams, and while I have learned the lesson of not taking every dream as prophecy, it is a feeling I have not been able to shake for months."
Of the Sages, Nabooru was probably her closest friend. Impa was a sister figure, and nowadays, too busy to spend as much time with her. She had Kakariko Village to protect, the Shadow Temple to watch over, and... Zelda wasn't a little girl anymore. She couldn't rely on the woman she loved as an older sister to take care of her that way.
If she did, she'd never become an independent woman herself.
"I feel as though only you would understand. If I told anyone else, they would only insist I send a search party. I have already taken care of how affairs will be dealt with at the castle in lack of my presence. As much as I hate untruthfulness... I have already told Impa a story to explain my absence. If I told her my intentions, she would demand I take her with me, and I cannot do that."
Though her face was one of concern, her voice was of strong conviction. For everyone in Hyrule, she would stop this demonic presence she felt. For everyone in the world.
"Please, do not let anyone know the truth behind my absence. I'm tired of being treated as a porcelain doll that will shatter at the slightest touch. Link is gone from this timeline, and only I possess the power to seal away evil. I can't risk anyone else's safety."
Perfect diction was broken. If that wasn't a sign of both trust, and importance from her, nothing was.

Now go home, Nikolai ( @clown-demon <3) Regain your lost time! Home... Where you are supposed to be... The way you are supposed to be...

"...I do believe you mentioned having children once."
Searching for a dark entity meant looking all over the world's timeline. It didn't mean she couldn't form bonds along the way. Though it appeared safe to assume, the darkness in her dreams, it wasn't from here.
"Might I ask, what does it feel like to live a domestic life? To come home to a loving husband, and children?"

"If you feel as though I will cause you no harm, please, take my hand."
Which she soon held out. Even that was as delicate, and beautiful as she was. Elbow length, pristine white glove. A gentle touch, should he take it. She liked this guy, he brought some fun into what was a fairly dull life. No mistake was to be made. She loved her kingdom, she would work hard for it, and she would devote her life to it. That wasn't an obligation.
That was what she wanted to do.
But that didn't mean it didn't get boring. That didn't mean she didn't dream of adventure. An adventure with someone she could consider a friend. Someone she could let her guard down in front of, someone who could learn to let their guard down in front of her. All a matter of trust. Getting there, learning about others was half the fun.
And if he took her hand, they'd be in the fields in seconds.
Farore's Wind was a powerful, powerful spell.
Zelda made for such nice company. The surprise of her desire to entertain a friendship with him long subsided, though he was still grateful for moments like these. Her garden is lovely, too, though many of them were to this traveler. Surely she would have loved them all as well...
The invitation snapped the blond out of sentimental thoughts, turning his attention back to the woman. "A stroll...?" A quick glance at a sun soon to set wells up a feeling of concern preparing to protest, briefly expressed by a frown and wide eyes. It's quickly and completely diminished after that wink, however, replacing that worried expression with flushed features and a giddy smile instead. Oh, boy...
"Sounds good to me!" Never mind how it didn't just a second ago.... "Secretive, though... what did ya have in mind?"
Ah well. They were both pretty formidable fighters, even on their own. What's the worst that could happen out there?

Now go home, Inuyasha [ @kitxkatrp <3 ] Regain your lost time! Home... Where you are supposed to be... The way you are supposed to be...
A lullaby. When you were in the woods, who was there to stop you from singing? A clear, beautiful voice of operatic quality, though it soon comes to an end abruptly. She didn't need to hear anything to recognize a presence.
Ordinarily, she would. To what extent, she didn't know, but there was a demonic presence. One name came to mind. Ganon. Link was gone from this time, she'd created a new timeline for him to grow up in. When darkness began clouding her dreams, she knew she was the only one who could take care of whatever darkness may have been haunting not just Hyrule, but the world.
That was Ganondorf's, and by extent, Ganon's ultimate ambition.
"Reveal yourself."
Zelda rose to her feet, in moments, her bow was in her hands, materialized through the sacred power that would forever be within her. Within her descendants, for all of time. Through her own faults, she had inadvertently caused the Triforce to split. Now she was the last who could protect what piece of it she had.
Ganon would get no opportunity to strike.
An arrow, infused with the power of light is shot in the direction she sensed the presence in.
Strange...
She heard no pain. The King of Evil excelled in Power, how did he avoid her strike? Had he come back in a different form? The very thought left her even more on guard. She was of Wisdom. Zelda knew how to study her surroundings. Study her senses, and observe an opponent.
Whatever form Ganon had taken, it clearly wouldn't be so easily struck.

"A princess must be ready to defend her country at any cost. But it is not my strength that won. You have yourself to thank. Your words, they brought me to my senses. Should you have remained silent, things most surely would have gone differently."
Though the pulse of dark energy hadn't been a comfort, to feel the breeze in her courtyard, to see the blue sky again. That meant more to her than anything else. Perhaps her dreams had been correct. Yet, perhaps this was what she had been meant to do. Maybe this would put an end to those reoccurring dreams. After what happened during her younger days, she was hesitant to consider her dreams a prophecy.
But this did seem like a fated encounter.
"You are the Demon King. An incarnation of Ganondorf himself. How do you not recognize it?"
Though her mastery was in time magic, though she could sense timelines, that didn't mean she could read them. She didn't know where he may have been from. Wherever it was, the Triforce must not have split. Otherwise, he would have most surely had the Triforce of Power in his own hand. She didn't sense it at all, nor did the Triforce of Wisdom resonate with his form.
"The time stream is a delicate thing, I suppose extreme variations are bound to happen. If you would like to hear the story, then it will be so."
He wasn't showing malice towards her anymore. Though she'd keep her guard up, no way she would trust that easily, she'd allow him the chance to satisfy his curiosities.

"It was believed to be only legend. The story of the Golden Power, the power of the Gods, hidden away in the Sacred Realm. Eight years ago, an incarnation of you attacked the castle. The Hero of Time, Link, opened the door to the Sacred Realm, and that incarnation of you invaded it. All of it was my fault. All of it was because of my actions. But now is not the time to dwell on regrets.
The Golden Power, it is called the Triforce. Three sacred triangles, that each represent a heart's balance. Should someone whose heart holds that balance touch it, they will obtain the ultimate power. But... If someone whose heart is not in balance, legend claimed that the three pieces would split. When Ganondorf claimed the Triforce, that legend came true.
In his hand, only remained the piece that most represented what was in his heart. Power. The Triforce of Power made him the strongest force in all the world. Power, however, is not everything. The other two pieces appeared in the hands of those whose hearts most represented their qualities. Link possessed the Triforce of Courage. The golden mark you see on my hand, is the Triforce of Wisdom. Should all three pieces be reunited, the Golden Power will merge once more. However, that is an impossibility. Link is gone. You saw for yourself, I sent him to a timeline where Ganondorf was sealed away. And in this timeline, where we are right now, I maintain the seal on Ganondorf. The Triforce of Power is sealed, and only my death can weaken that seal. Once I pass, in time, he will be able to break free. But that is a long time from now."
If he would behave, she had no qualms with teaching him anything. If he dared try anything, she'd just have to redouble her efforts, and find a way to seal him as well.
"As it stands, I am the most powerful in all the kingdom, and that is in big part due to the Triforce piece that is in my hand. I was chosen as the bearer of Wisdom, and nothing can change that."
Time shifted. It was something he had done before but this level made him sneer in rage as she explained that her five minutes meant nothing now. It was disgusting. She cheated. A cheat that both made him angry. And simultaneously amused. His teeth gritting in rage as darkness enveloped his body in his rage as his voice returned to its demonic tone.

"I must admit, Princess. That was a cheat I didn't expect. You found the loophole. Brovo." He clapped slowly as his form returned to that of the demon. His body approving hers as he grabbed her shoulder and with a flash they appeared back where they stood when they met. In that very garden of the castle.
"As promised." Ganondorf was a lier and manipulative bastard. But if there was one thing he wasn't. Someone who never paid his debts. And when he was cheated out of that five minutes. He admitted. It was the first time in a millennia that he was cheated like that. But it wasn't like he was going to verbally admit it anymore than he already had. His chest heaving as he laughed in amusement.
"It was..an honor with that little fight. You have much strength princess. Its admirable. As much as I despise saying it to the likes of a light bender."
He could use her. His smirk lost as he thought. Thinking. Hatching a scheme in his head as he looked at her with his dark eyes." Tell me.." he grabbed her hand. Lifting it up to see the triangle that shown bright on her hand. The grabbing of her arm was gentle. Not as violent as he would usually handle someone." What is this upon you're hand? It looks..familiar."
His voice low. Casual. Curiosity filling his tone. This world was different from his hyrule. A different time period all together. The zonai didn't exist yet. Didn't break that pact to keep away from the earth. Rauru. That bastard..he wished to learn as his form once more dropped from its demonic approach to the human look he took earlier.

"This is not my time. If I am to ruin it I would no exist. I am no fool. I merely wish to..learn at this point." It was somewhat of an honest statement. Customs that had been long forgotten not just by his standards but by all of Hyrule. Time goes by. Over and over. Customs fade into nothing and reverts back to something different but similar. Repeat the process over and over. And time removes it from the equation.
"I wish to make another deal with you." He said as he crosses his arms as he kept his eyes on her." Teach me you're customs. You're history. And I will not harm you or you're precious people."

His words.
His words made her realize exactly that. She'd been so consumed by her anger, by her guilt over what she'd done. She didn't think clearly. It was shameful, she held the power of Wisdom. She of anyone should have known better than to let emotions cloud her judgement. After all, to win a fight against one who was stronger than you, required strategy. Raw power wasn't going to work. To try raw power, she would have been doomed from the start.
She had the magical prowess, but not the raw power to take on the Demon King himself. That was why Link had delivered the final blow during their initial battle with Ganon. Inwardly, she chastised herself. But his words brought her straight back to reality, and though she had exhausted a lot of magical stamina, that didn't mean she was out of tricks yet.
Listen to the Goddesses. Focus on your opponent, learn, and strike them when the opening occurred.
Yes, she understood now, and funny enough, she had him to thank for it. If he hadn't spoken those words, she may have continued to try raw power until she passed out from draining all of her magical stamina. Strategize. Focus. Make the most of what magic you have left.
Out of a pouch around her waist, came a precious object. A magical artifact, she was sworn to protect. The artifact Link had given back to her just before she created this timeline for him. She may not have done things right, she may have acted selfishly. But her intentions had been good. She was realizing now, it was no excuse. If this weren't such a dire situation, she'd almost be amused at the emotional maturity she was beginning to understand, and all through Ganondorf's words, and demeanor.

"...You are correct."
Whether she held a grudge against him was irrelevant. If someone couldn't recognize when they were wrong. Couldn't recognize when they made a mistake, they would never learn from anything. She wasn't out of time yet. Quite the opposite, in fact. Grace was in her expression as she smiled at him. No more words were necessary. She held the instrument to her mouth, and began to play.

Zelda's Lullaby.
It was a song of beauty, of meaning. But also, a great magical power all its own. Though it did take magic to use, through the power in the ocarina, that magic use was very little. The way it amplified her control over time was immense. This five minutes she supposedly had, it reversed. It reversed, and reversed. As the wind began blowing around her, it was as though the entire environment was going back in time.
Blooming flowers turned to buds, to stems, before retreating back into the ground. Rock formations, battered and shaped by weather, were restored to their natural state before any of it occurred. And rain began to pour. Zelda was a Sage before she was a princess, and time was her element. As the water soaked her, the true state of her hair showed in full.
Zelda didn't have straight hair at all, but long, golden curls that almost glowed in their own right. And when she was done, the woman placed the ocarina back into her pouch.

"I do believe that should give me some more time. You said five minutes. You did not say five minutes of time that you personally were counting, and I do believe it will be quite a while before we reach the end of five minutes from when we began. A deal is a deal. You really should be more specific when stating rules of a challenge. Rules can be easy to bend."
Her voice wasn't stoic, but the anger was gone. All things considered, she still had to focus on what she was going to do about this situation. Focus on where she could find some form of weakness, some form of opening.
"As the rules were already stated, trying to claim now that you meant differently would render the challenge null, and void. I did not break them, I bent them. But to change the rules entirely would serve as breach of contract."
She was a strong. Very strong and that was good. Upon the various arrows he swiped his sword in every direction. They were like homing missiles that itched to get a taste of his flesh. But the hand that delt the extra burst of light was swiped and blocked by a gloom hand that sacrificed itself to save its master. Obliterating the gloom on impact but saving Ganondorf from the beam.
She was locked on. But she used too much power to try and hit him. It was a shame as the massive man smiled at her weakening state amongst the field they stood upon. The once blooming grassy field now singed by the light and corrupted by his gloom.

"You are weakening child. You should have held back. Thought it through a bit better." He chuckled as he tapped his fingers against his temple." He found it amusing how hard she tried to hit him. She was blind to the fact that she had overburdened herself.
"Come now princess. Fight for you're freedom. Tick tock." He crossed his arms. Taking steps towards her. Waiting. Anticipating an attack that would wither hit him or not. How much power she'd put into if by studying her expression. Despite how calm she appeared he could sense her fear in her core.
And it was delicious to taste. He wanted a challenge and he was getting it despite her nature of putting so much power onto her two attacks. He admired her ferociousness. Like a mother bear wishing to defend her cubs. Her dear people. Disgust. He didn't care about that. He cared about the power. And he was going to get what he desired..
#dragmiredemisee#v; to sing a timeless lullaby#[oh my goodness don't apologize I'm absolutely LOVING this <3]

"Please, make no mistake. I have chosen what I am doing by my own accord. No one asked me to do this. As a Sage, it is my duty to protect Hyrule from any and all dangers that it may face. I have reason to believe darkness may be just around the corner. Who better to quell that darkness, than she who takes care of the kingdom's daily affairs regularly? You cannot begin to imagine how long it took to finally convince the guards I was in no need of an escort."
Zelda held an otherworldly beauty to her, that was a natural grace she exuded. But it wasn't to be mistaken for a weakness. Her extreme level of magical ability made her more powerful than anything any of her guards could hope to do for her. Not impervious by any means, but she certainly could defend herself.
She kept that grace, though inwardly, there was a sense of concern. Castle Town was her most immediate responsibility, and she had the say in who could, and could not enter. Tales of this man were lost to the echoes of time, other than vague understands in written text. Just as tales tended, with each word that spread the knowledge, meanings could be twisted. Misunderstood. That was the whole reason she didn't recognize who he may have been to begin with.
Telepathic, she could be, but a mind reader? Not in any sense of the word.
"...Well, I will not pry. Just know that my ears are always open. I would be more than happy to compensate you for any ingredients you may have. I would speak of the castle for free! I do love this country, to speak my feelings of it would be nothing short of a pleasure. However, I do believe that as a traveler, any story you may have would far surpass mine in terms of interest."
Blond hair, a royal dress. How could he miss it, but he would hate to assume.
"One of my grand nieces were named Zelda, what a coincidence. Though its been quiet a long, long, long time ago." One hand with claws taps on his chin playfully, his eyes on the bags full of materials. Well if the princess of Hyrule needed to act as the alchemist of their own castle town, who was he to judge.
When he was king, he had quiet the gambling problem after all....with pies.

He gives a similar royal bow as well, old habits undying.
"It seems that even Hyrule is feeling the penny pinching if they have their own princesses getting ingredients by herself. " He jokes.
"Perhaps this old man can be of some help, I'm a wandering ...nomad and I travel only with my trusty horse, Ariel."
"But I do gather materials to sell from time to time, I can give you some if you simply list them. and in payment, maybe a story or two of Hyrule castle?" he offers.
"I'm...not allowed inside castle town for reasons I rather not get to."

"Perhaps it is late. However, there are times when one must carry on, even through the darkness."
Her words held more meaning than one. The darkness of night, but the darkness of life was equally referenced. She was, in a sense, on an adventure. Her council was watching over many responsibilities, albeit with strict rules and instructions on what they could and couldn't do while they took over for her.
Because she had a goal in mind. Dreams, that were nagging at her mind for months on end. With Link gone from the timeline, she had to take matters into her own hands. She had to seek out the darkness she felt in her heart, and she had to put a stop to it before any risk was posed to Hyrule.
"In truth, I am on the search for ingredients. Potions are an necessity when one travels alone. My curiosity is, who are you? I have yet to meet any in Hyrule who has not immediately recognized me."
Proper introductions were in order. Outside of the castle or not, she was the princess of Hyrule. So she held out her dress, bowing as a proper show of respect.
"I am Zelda. Princess of Hyrule. So pleased to make your acquaintance."

"Well, I didn't expect a guest today..."
The whole set up was note worthy, a whole camp with tents and all in the outskirts of hyrule city. Of course for someone like him, he is certain that the shiekah would kill him if he set foot in proper, hence his need to take rest in the tent.
A fire is slowly cooking stew, the sun is setting and without his cloak. his full draconic features were in full show.
"Isn't it rather late, young lady to be out? Or are you one of those adventurous types?"
A giant horse laid nearby, resting after a long day of hauling all this equipment.

While there may have been fear in her heart, it was overtaken by that sense of anger. The reminder of how so many innocent lives were lost. She may have been the catalyst, but it didn't change that Ganondorf was the one who caused the attack. No, she'd never forgive him for what he'd done to those people. What he did to her father.
Link wasn't here anymore. She'd have to use her magic to its fullest extent.
This was something she hadn't had to do in... well, since she was last in battle with the Demon King. Only he had been strong enough that she require to do such a thing. But she was prepared. She'd trained herself for the potential of his return, she knew she couldn't maintain the seal permanently. That someday, even if it was after her passing, the seal would weaken. He would break free, and once again descend upon Hyrule.
"I belong only to my country."
Admittedly, it was an interesting prospect. Zelda was used to playing defensively, rather than being told to try and land a hit. If he wanted her to give off the true expression of her magical prowess, she would most certainly do so.
Her right hand only shined more brightly. Though a great sorceress by her own right, it was through the power of the Triforce that her magical ability became on par with that of the Gods themselves. It was a power that any wielder of a piece of the Triforce possessed. Those who held a piece of it, they were the greatest of anyone in the entire world. It was the nature of the Sacred Triangles. That was what made the Ganondorf she sealed away so unbelievably powerful.
Zelda gave no warning. First show of attack was a rapid fire of light arrows, from multiple directions. How so? Multiple shots, before the use of Farore's Wind to instantly teleport to another side. Even in such a situation, she'd refrain from using her control over time, that was for emergencies only. She had to try to make due without it for now.
Just as quickly, a sharp, blinding beam of light fired into the sky, from her right hand. A storm of light arrows would soon rain down. Manifesting light magic was her second greatest magic. Magic that had the power to repel evil. Once again, her goal wasn't to defeat him, per se. It was solely to protect Hyrule, no matter what timeline she may have been in.
Nothing meant more to her than the country she'd serve to protect, for all her days. After all of this, she once again used the power of Farore's Wind to teleport behind him one last time.
From her hands, she focused all of her power into a massive beam of light. That same beam of light that had held down Ganon himself so long ago. As one could imagine, such extreme displays of magic could be quite draining, even for a woman with her incredible magical stamina.
She had to hope this did something.
Hyrule's fate was in the balance. If it meant her end, then so be it. But she would be slain in battle before she ever allowed harm to come to Hyrule again. She'd strike with every last piece of her being, and she had no intention of stopping. Not until she struck him, as he challenged, or until she lost consciousness from the use of so much powerful magic.
In his timeline the triforce didn't exist. In his timelinr there was only the great sword that would he used go beat him. So when she burst into a blinding light he shielded his eyes from its blinding hue. His eyes becoming so thin they seemed almost like cracks amidst the night.

His eyes blinded before he jumped back and rubbed them free of the stars that clouded his vision. She was far stronger than he anticipated and that made him feel excited. His bore teeth showed anger but inside he was pounding with the sensation of a thrill. A woman who could fight back? Not to mention the very woman who was once incapable of such a thing. Zelda in his timeline was no more than a child. Unable to lift a finger to defend herself letalone her own kingdom. But this one.
It brought forth that sense of determination to break that spirit. And drown her in darkness. He laughed maniacally. His body bobbing with each laugh that hissed through his cursed lips.

"You child. Are stronger than I thought. He hummed. His brows furrowed with his smirk as he reached out forward and his sword appeared in his hand. His fingers clasping around the handle as he swiped it. The tip of it digging into the ground as gloom spreading to the ground like a virus. His body moving slowly as he cracked his neck.
"I'll make this fun.." he whispered as a burst of darkness errupted from him. His form engulfed in its dark embrace before he was revealed to be a man no different in size but human. He was of Gerudo. Massive in size coated in tattooes that spelled an unknown story. His voice smooth and cold yet not as demonic as his demon form.

"I want a challenge from you, Princess. Grant me a single blow. And I will bring you back to you're time and leave you. Fail? And I'll have you as my slave." He raised his free hand. Holding up five fingers." Five minutes, Princess. Five minutes to land a hit." He beckons her. A mocking chortle. A complete trap for her. No matter how much she would fight he'd win. He could feel it in his bones.

"If you think I will allow you to--"
But she couldn't finish her sentence. Her concept was that he planned on stealing the ocarina from her possession. It was difficult to process that another could have the power to traverse timelines, as she could. Time was her element as a Sage. Never before had she come across anyone else with that kind of power. Even worse, was the dark magic that flowed through her entire form. One had to remember, it was Zelda and Zelda alone who maintained the seal on Ganondorf, or at least, he of which she had known. To be flooded with such darkness, it was a risk to that seal.
Darkness that fought hard against her natural attunement to light magic. Thank goodness it didn't last too long.
This wasn't anything like she'd ever imagined she could have created. The point of sending Link to another timeline was to give him the chance to grow up. As it stood, he'd been a child in an adult's body. Forced to be an adult's body, through a deep slumber until his body aged. He didn't get to emotionally mature, not the way she did. And maybe it had been selfish of her, she hadn't even asked his feelings on the subject. Only told him they had to say goodbye.
"This can't be..."
While previously, there had only been a break in her stoic tone, now it was completely shattered. Rather than the emotional training she had been put through to play the role of a perfect princess, those emotions were evident in her voice now. Even if Link did still win, what cost would it be to him? How was this any better than what she had put him through during her own childhood?
Being forced to save the world at such a young age. It wasn't right. It wasn't what she wanted for him.
Desperation, however, welled up into a sense of anger. A growing rage inside of her, a feeling she hadn't felt in so long. The only time she'd felt so angry at someone, was when Ganondorf himself had attacked the castle. Killed her father, along with countless others, before obtaining the Triforce, and all because of her.
Every last bit of what had happened, it was still her fault. And now all of this was her fault. Why couldn't she seem to do anything right? No matter how hard she tried to atone for her mistakes, she just kept making them. Now wasn't the time. She could face that heavy guilt later.
Link had once protected her, while she sealed the Demon King into the Evil Realm. Now it was her turn to fight, and protect him.
The woman's entire form began to glow with a blinding light. The Triforce of Wisdom was still in her hand, always would be, and it would be passed to her descendants when her life was over. A piece of the power of the Gods themselves. There was no denying, she had the power to be a one woman army. Just as Link did, and just as Ganondorf did.
Just because she looked like a dainty princess didn't mean anything. No magic user could compare to her prowess. None but Ganondorf himself could compare, and that was only because he held a part of the same sacred triangles. As wielder of Power, it still meant he had more strength. But it didn't make him unstoppable.
Had he not been able to trap her in a magic sealing crystal, she would have taken him on herself to begin with. It was the reason she'd chosen to disguise herself. He may have been stronger than her in terms of raw power, but raw power wasn't everything when it came to winning a fight.
"You will not interfere with this timeline. If I have to stop you myself, then so be it. I've caused enough damage as is, and I will not allow you to create any more!"
Oh? So she wanted proof? The mention of disbelief in her words made Ganondorf, without hesitation. Approch her. Leaning over to be at eye level with her as he looked into her eyes. Studying the pearls closely. "You don't believe me? Then I will show you."

He reached down and took the princess by the arm aggressively. His hand bratically engulfing her arm in its massive size. He's whitnessed the impossible. Experienced the improbable. And became its master as he raised his hand. Dark energy flowing through not just him but Zelda as well as the small tear shaped crystal on his forehead pulsating with power.

It's dark powers surged through her for a quick moment before it stopped. Placing them on a mountain overlooking a small town with a massive problem. A moon with a face barring down on the town like a predator about to strike. And with its view he held out his hand and magic once more served through his hand to show her link. But not in his regular form.
He looked different. He looked like a Zora as he let her go.
"This is what you're timeline created, Zelda. Once more he is forced to rescue the world from a piece of my power." The vision shifted to an imp wearing a heart shaped mask that resonated with familiarity in its fullness. The power of Ganondorf trapped within the object. Darkness. As the imp was puppeteered by its influence.
"Do not fret. The boy wins. He always wins.." there was a bite to his tone as various sages appeared. Large beings that helped prevent the moon's crash.
"But this..is where he loses..with me..this timeline of an eternal circle is being put to an end. And I thought. Make it a show.." he sneered.
