OH MY GOD IT'S MY MOMENT!! I'm gonna recommend some of my favs for now :]

Okay sooo my favorite band is the gazette!! They're also the band that got me into vkei. The first album i listened to is called toxic but my favorite one is division :] (also in toxic theres a song called vortex and it reminds me a lot of D hell yeah)

My second favorite band is called zera!! I have no specific album/ep to recommend cuz EVERYTHING IS PEAK. But the first one of their songs i listened to is called murder show and i think it's a great start!

Another absolutely peak band is the madna, their style is kind of different from the other two but it's really amazing. The first song i listened to is called mad game but another song i reccomend as a start is fuck'n dear××× (this song reminds me of mei, peak)

Then theres zombie. Their best song (in my opinion) is rotten princess :] also in my jyugo playlist there's a song also by them that's really cool (tho is just an interlude...)

LAST ONE I HAVE (FOR NOW) is sick2!! Another insane band i fell in love with after ONE song. My favorite song is paraphiliaparanoia but the first one i listened to is crazy tokyo (they're both from the same album)

Also i have a bit of info about vkei in general :]

Vkei is a music movement and a subculture that's popular since the 80s. Everyone thinks that vkei only referes to heavy metal and punk rock but actually theres a lot of bands that play other genres like pop and electronic. Some subgenres are: oshare kei which means "fashionable style", oshare kei bands are colorful and bring joy, which makes them different to other subgenres, their music can go from sounding like bubble gum pop to sounding more like punk; then there's kote kei which means exaggerated, this style led to the birth of all the other ones :] also the band that is considered the founders of vkei is called x japan (tho i still didn't listen to them...). I had to explain things in brief so i'm sorry if i explained things badly :((

hi, a lot of you need a perspective reset

the average human lifespan globally is 70+ years

taking the threshold of adulthood as 18, you are likely to spend at least 52 years as a fully grown adult

at the age of 30 you have lived less than one quarter of your adult life (12/52 years)

'middle age' is typically considered to be between 45-65

it is extremely common to switch careers, start new relationships, emigrate, go to college for the first or second time, or make other life-changing decisions in middle age

it's wild that I even have to spell it out, but older adults (60+) still have social lives and hobbies and interests.

you can still date when you get old. you can still fuck. you can still learn new skills, be fashionable, be competitive. you can still gossip, you can still travel, you can still read. you can still transition. you can still come out.

young doesn't mean peaked. you're inexperienced in your 20s! you're still learning and practicing! you're developing social skills and muscle memory that will last decades!

there are a million things to do in the world, and they don't vanish overnight because an imaginary number gets too big
