Today’s books from the public library. Two from Quebec littérature, I mean I have no other way to describe those delightfully fucked up novels. To be honest I don’t know if my province has a defining littérature genre, I mean there’s A lot of books on historical fictions and the struggle of living in Montreal. Three Japanese books which strangely seems less traumatizing than the two first. Quite a change from Notre Dame de Paris.

Bought my first bullet journal yesterday, I need to start it soon. But summer is going strong in unplanned events so I might actually get to it in august when Cégep starts. I want to use it effectively ... at least that's the plan.

Sherlock Study Moods

The Sherlock: constantly fidgets with things while studying, mind maps!!!! so many mind maps, spends like 90% of their time on the classes they enjoy, black coffee with two sugars, classical music, sits in dark coffeeshops when not holed up in their room

The Watson: typed notes, likes to study outside but tends to study at night so that doesn’t always work out, lives off of sandwiches during exam time, highlights their types notes in perfectly straight lines the days before an exam, doesn’t leave anything to the last minute

The Molly: drinks different juices like green juices and all, notes seem neat from afar but up close it’s all rushed grammar and incomplete sentences, draws out diagrams whenever possible, gives mind maps a go every once in a while, listens to lectures while commuting

The Lestrade: always feels super lost but ends up doing well, focuses on practice problems and past exams, watches shows in the background, accidentally pulls all-nighters, uses one of those 4-in-1 pens with red, blue, green, and black, makes flashcards but never actually uses them later on

The Mrs. Hudson: drinks herbal teas, starts a study sesh off with an hour or so drive to another town to find a cafe to settle down in for the days, notes are in all pencil with some bits in all caps or underlined, follows to pomodoro method, studies throughout the day and relaxes before bed

The Mycroft: gets every past test they can get their hands on, sits at those boxy cubicles in the library and gets stuff done, listens to oldies, hounds ta’s for tips on how to study and what past tests are like, constantly calculating their grade, secretly stressed but hides it by acting cranks

The Moriarty: somehow manages to get their hands on the test but puts off doing it beforehand and finding the answers so has the wing the exam, otherwise finds notes online to study from, writes papers in one go from intro to conclusion, listens to 90’s hits, helps no one bc it’s not their grade

Relatable Literature:

Raskolnikov waking up mid afternoon, very grumpy. There is shit lying around all over the floor. He realises he really should clean his room asap. Precisely 7.8 seconds later, he falls asleep again. He is woken by an angry guardian knocking on his door, sternly reminding him that as a human being, he has an obligation to contribute to society. He looks around his room. It’s still not clean. He is grumpy.
