I’m so excited for this. I was there at Jerrod’s show at The Bell House. It was the last night of filming on his reality show. I and my friends were on the front row. I’ve seen him twice and can say both times he was amazing and it bordered on a religious experience.
Hey, everyone! I've been super busy with my new job, but I wanted to make sure you are all aware of the newest Bo Burnham content:
Jerrod Carmichael's Reality Show!
Yes, that's Bo with a bag on his head (as well as the infamous ski mask from the Emmys two years ago)—the voice modulation makes it even more obvious after AEOM.
I'm especially excited about this show because I saw Jerrod filming it at City Winery when I saw him perform after seeing KATE for the first time (busy night for me haha)!
If you'd like to learn more about Jerrod's fur coats and the amazing Emmys award ceremony, you can check out my article (and many others about his clothing or lack thereof).
And don't forget to watch Reality Show when it premieres later this month! ✌🏼🐔
How am I just finding out about this now? It’s so good and very funny. I already have the songs stuck in my head, so thanks a lot Dylan.
Hi, everyone!
As I had mentioned earlier today, I've posted a BRAND-SPANKING-NEW interview today to celebrate Bo's 33rd birthday (he's...turning...33!)
Today's interview is with the multi-talented Dylan Case. Just like Bo, Dylan wrote, directed, edited... basically did EVERYTHING to create his wonderfully imaginative parody of Inside.

Dylan told me all the details about how he made Insider and how he went through a job change and the birth of his son but still felt compelled to finish his project. Crazy...I was completely drained with the birth of my two kids lol
Anyway, for a taste of Dylan's musical comedy, here is one of the best songs from the special and his personal favorite, the beautiful and inspiring Barking Up the Wrong Tree (It's his The Chicken, seriously!).

If you'd like to read the full interview, including detailed descriptions of when Dylan saw Bo live at the Largo in LA (twice), here's the link. And please make sure to follow Dylan on social media—he deserves all the accolades! ✌🏼🐔
We all know Bo Burnham is a phenomenal writer, right? Everything he pens is gold, in my opinion, and I'm always trying to locate more of his obscure writing over the years.
Case in point: I've collected as many examples of Bo'a penned items from throughout his career and I just posted this article on my website today—check it out here!
From a book foreword to a short-lived blog and article in the LA Times, Bo has written a lot of items over the years. And I've added two fantastic interviews about his specific writing process for Eighth Grade to my post.
Did I miss any pieces of writing? Please let me know and I'll be sure to credit you for discovering more of his works! ✌🏼
any fic author will tell you literally any kind of enthusiastic reaction/response/engagement with their work is glorious but a thing i’ve been pleasantly reminded of is that AO3 is an archive for readers, and writers. leaving a comment when you enjoyed a fic is like tucking a lovenote in our journals for us to keep and revisit any time we want to. just take them out and arrange them all on the coffee table and smile and feel a bit better about everything. what a gift 💙💖🌻
