I do like that a lot of shows have referenced/parodied Inside Out.
Granted the Simpsons have done this kind of joke lots of times before. (Here are some episode examples:
Diatribe of a Mad Housewife
We're on the Road to D'oh-where
The Blue and the Gray)
But to do it specifically as a reference to Inside Out and with their cast representing the emotions is cleverly done. Plus it's a hundred times better then what Family Guy did.
Seriously? Was it too much trouble to put someone like Mort Goldman as Fear?
Some explanations of references and why I chose these monsters instead of following the ones in the original poster (I'm probably going to copy these, for my MSM Amino blog post):
Hoola as Joy, is quite obvious, because yep, its yellow and joyful. Also, Joy has blue color ✨
Pango as Sadness, because first discovered in Cold Island (which is gloomy) and its position when feeling sad in MSM Playground is.. saddening 🌧️
Thrumble as Fear, it has tall posture and uhh.. I don't know anything else.. I guess, it's because it looks like Sid from Ice Age, who's pretty much cowardice 😱
Edamimi as Disgust, it's green, slender, and looked like that, uhmm.. stylish young lady or something(?). I don't know how to describe it, it's kind of complicated and I don't know how words work. Oh! And also, it's a veggie and veggies are disgusting, so.. (I don't mean that! I eat my greens. It's just a reference from the movie) 🥦
Flowah as Anger, because.. well, it looked like a short-tempered monster and has fire element (and Anger can ignite fire from his head, so...). It also has scars, so... well, it's almost the same as Anger, who's very chaotic and hot-headed 💢
Krillby as Anxiety, because it looks like a kind of clumsy monster. It also has orange color. And it's actually in my fan-made 'teenage form', not baby, not adult 🌩️
Clavi Gnat as Envy, because it's a small monster, kinda cute(?), and it's blueish-green (emerald, uhh.. what is it called? Jade color? Aquamarine? Whatever..) 🥺
Fluoress as Ennui, because it's slender, it doesn't smile or anything, and looked like that type of always bored monster (I also kind of referenced this; first impression of this monster is boring, because its main color is grey and it's a boring color, so yeah; it's a boring emotion, with a boring color..) 🗿
Enchantling as Embarrassment, it's a big monster and yes.. that's pretty much of it.. 🫥
Here's the closer looks..
And here's the original one, made by BBB.
Fun fact, I also 'adjusted' a few things;
Apart from the elements, I also pay attention to their body postures and sizes, appearances, and other things related to each monster, not just choosing them randomly or based on their in-game colors.
Hoola is the only Seasonal monster in the main group, as it's their leader (Joy is the leader).
Pango is the only Natural class monster in the main group, because it's the one who causes 'problems' and is the solution in the main movie (Sadness is quite 'troublesome', according to Joy in the first movie).
Krillby is the only non-Magical class monster in the second group, as it's their leader (Anxiety act as a 'substitute leader' in the second movie).
Torrt is actually going to be the "Nostalgia" emotion, but I didn't include it, because she doesn't play major roles in the second movie.
My head keep aching recently, mostly after I woke up. Maybe because brain storms happen too regularly, they mess up the insides of my head 😵💫

Here’s your hint for the next casting (It’s Pixar):
I thought I was out of things to say about That Ending, but now that I'm thinking about the rest of the show, here's what I'm figuring out: to me Izzy's death seems to set the season's flaws in stone, in a way that makes them a lot harder to overlook.
Like, second acts of trilogies are hard--you have to move pieces into place for part 3, while telling enough of a self-contained story to keep the audience invested, but not resolve so much that there's no tension left for part 3. It's difficult, and it's pretty typical for the middle installment of even very good trilogies to be considered the weakest of the three. (I had trouble getting through The Two Towers, and I know I'm not alone in that.)
What we got, with OFMD, was a part II that has a lot of really fun moments, but doesn't hang together very well. There are lots of loose ends, things that don't quite make sense if you think it through, bits that never pay off, but it's fun to watch--and gives the invested viewer a lot to speculate about in terms of how things are going to resolve.
If you have to pick a direction to err in, that's a good one to pick--especially for a sitcom! We've still got part 3 to weave in the loose ends: some of the things that don't make sense now, will make sense once we see where it was going, and the rest will seem less important once we're looking at a complete story.
But, to those of us invested in Izzy's character, his death brings all of that to a screeching halt. The loose ends involving him can never* be woven in. His relationship with Ed can't be resolved, and his relationships with the crew can't develop any further--even if Ed and the other characters come to understand things about him and his death (perhaps through flashbacks, guilt hallucinations or other devices which will give us Con on our screens), that will only develop their arcs, not his.
(*Unless, of course, we get real, autonomous ghosts, a resurrection, or a complete retconning of the death into something else. I'd personally take any of those, over a complete lack of Izzy, but I'm not able to fool myself about it being good writing.)
It also sucks a lot of of the fun out of the earlier parts of the season. For a lot of people who are already upset about how it ended, rewatching the good parts just makes them feel worse. Ditto for speculating about where it's all going. I have some ideas about what the narrative payoff for Izzy's death is going to be, but thinking about them isn't fun.
Izzy's death seems pointless, because one of the challenges of writing a second act is that the audience doesn't yet know the payoff. I'm sure Djenks and the writing team have a plan, and it might even be a good one! But at this point, trying to figure out what the point of it all was, just throws a spotlight on the loose ends, the hurried pacing, the muddled messaging around the themes of love, violence, and revenge, of what exactly piracy represents.
"Doesn't hang together very well, but has a lot of fun moments" is a good direction to err in on a Part 2, as long as you don't plan to suck all the fun out of the room in the last few minutes.

At the ISB, I have the privilege of working with a large team and encountering a number of personalities. It's one of the many things I love about my job. In addition to Supervisor Meero, I am assisting twelve different officers for various tasks.
Today, I started working with Director Orson Krennic. My day begun when he pointed at the empty caf machine and yelled at me "Are you blind?" as a way to request a refill. I appreciate his passion about having things done in a timely manner and believe this will be a good learning opportunity.
I love my job. I really do.
Sending good vibes and glory to the Empire!

Something about being an IDW OP fan is that even in positive works about him I feel like his problematic aspects are brought up way too often even in an appreciative way.
Ignore the haters of IDW OP/other characters I'm using as an example bc I'm talking about how fans talk about their own faves.
Like with Prowl fans, they know he's problematic but they pretty much just go "yeah he's an asshole what about it" or just don't acknowledge it at all and write/draw what they want to see. Some might allude to ACAB stuff but they don't do a disclaimer on every post about him with "btw I know cops are bastards and war crimes are evil I just think he's neat"
Pharma stans make content about him, whether apologism or just fun haha chainsaw doctor, without having to constantly be like "medical malpractice is bad and all but" or "He kills people and that's definitely important to talk about but" they just write about Pharma being a tragic/evil character and that's that
Megatron fans definitely are willing to talk about him being problematic, but again that element of self consciousness isn't there and ppl write headcanons and fics and stuff without Megatron having to turn around in the narration and go "oh I'm evil I'm so awful no one should be like me" as a sign to the audience that the author doesn't condone Megatron's actions and thinks colonialism is bad
I'm sure I could come up with other examples but like it's just weird to me that even among ppl who like IDW Optimus (and I'm not immune to this either), there's like this self-effacing attitude where ppl can't just say "I like him" or "It was cool when he did this" without almost ALWAYS preceding it with some sort of "He is a cop but" or "He's kind of a jerk but" or "I would hate him IRL but" as if there's some sort of Transformers fandom panopticon saying that you're not allowed to talk positively about IDW OP without first mentioning all of his flaws/problematic aspects. People sort of speak about him as if he's enjoyable or well written DESPITE being problematic, or that enjoying him has to be justified bc him being problematic automatically makes him repulsive. As opposed to merely talking about IDW OP as he is, and the problematic parts of him are thinks you can talk about or not talk about just depending on your mood and what angle you want to approach. No, every post or conversation has to always allude to how "IDW OP is an asshole, but he also has positive traits" or "I know he's problematic, but hear me out."
Hell even tho I'm seeing a little more fic about IDW OP or OPs with more IDW elements, it still feels as if most writers put him in situations where he goes "yeah I'm sorry I'm problematic and did bad things" as if he has to confess his sins publicly before being allowed to be a person. Or that the author feels the need to write him as such to reassure the audience "No actually I know ACAB just because I like IDW OP doesn't mean I'm not progressive look here I'm writing a story about everyone calling him an asshole for being a cop and OP kisses Megatron's ass because revolutionaries are actually right and it's only state propaganda that maligns them as violent and capable of wrong."
Idk I just think that among people who enjoy problematic characters, there are still a lot of fans who are either immature or self-conscious in their enjoyment of problematic characters. Where they DO have that enjoyment but they feel the need to make public disclaimers constantly or write their stories in a moralizing way to demonstrate how well they know that character is problematic. To contrast, I think true "problematic character" enjoyment comes when people can just LIKE A CHARACTER and it's a morally neutral act where they don't feel the need to make demonstrations about how transgressive it is and how their taste in fictional characters definitely doesn't reflect their real life morality.
It's just saddening bc even tho these days, there are lots of people who like IDW OP and there's fewer people being assholes about him, it still feels as if content about him is self-conscious of the fact and won't let him exist as a character/funny guy in your brain/vessel of themes and plot and instead it's some sort of Hays Code-esque thing where every time he appears on screen at least one person has to call him a cop bastard so the audience knows the fanfiction isn't copaganda.
But what if instead IDW OP fans and fan content had the same energy as other problematic character fanbases like Prowl or Megatron and we could just go "yeah here's a story about my favorite guy" without making a whole disclaimer about it
the way blue bats 9 started off being slept on by reddit while the hermit fans staunchly believed in them only for the reddit to now staunchly stand by the blue bats while its impact get ignored by a section of hermit fans lol. hbomb wasn’t lying when he said they all slept on the blue bats xhdhfjejfj
