I’m not gonna comment on all those stuff cause honestly I don’t care that much and never intended that post to reach anyone since I only come to Tumblr like once in year when I’m super bored cause everyone in this platform is unable to have a normal discussion or has common decency. Personally I really relate to Snape’s characters in many aspects because I too struggle with many of the things that he did and am able to understand his reasonings and motivations, i don’t think he’s pure evil. I also don’t think that there’s any justification for his actions. If you wanna take his trauma and struggles and turn them into an excuse for joining a terror organisation then I’m not gonna argue with that, like I don’t even know what to say to that. Also I don’t actually give a fuck if he killed someone himself or not, he was a death eater for years of his life and again if you wanna pretend that during those years (in which he turned from a nameless half blood to a high ranked death eater) he was a saint and didn’t get anybody killed (even indirectly) then that’s your choice and again, I’m not gonna argue. Same thing for the whole “he abused kids for a living for over decade” like honestly if you truly wholeheartedly believe that he had no other choice but to actively bully, abuse and traumatise 11 year olds for years… man I’m so not gonna getting into that. Honestly I haven’t read the books in literal years cause JKR is a piece of shit and I truly couldn’t care less . Lastly if u wanna offend someone by calling them a fanfics readers maybe do it like… outside of TUMBLR? Gonna give each of the arguments its own segment

1. The DE were his only option to amount to anything

- That’s just… not true. Ok so he was poor and had little connections- so did, idk, 90% of Britain at the time? he was a smart guy and he could behave like a normal person and apply to medical school or something instead of going to a literal TERROR ORGANISATION??? Babe literally how can u justify that are u ok😭

2. The DE’s were the only ones who treated him with respect

- Lily Evans exists… that girl went through hell and back for YEARS to try and justify his hateful demeanour and help him fit into society, Snape was simply not interested. During his first meeting with Lily he called Petunia a muggle like it was an insult and shortly afterwards he stated his wishes to go to Slytherin knowing damn well the kind of people he will find there. So yea maybe the DE’s were the only people who treated him somewhat decently because he was ONE OF THEM?? From the beginning??

3. He was only a literal signed terrorist for like 4 years

- yeah wow being a terrorist in the height of a civilian war led by your boss for ONLY 4 years is… so great. Really. I’m sure he didn’t commit any war crimes or murdered any innocent people like every other death eater during that time… I totally take back every argument I’ve ever used against him thank you for enlightening me

4. He was the reason the wizarding war didn’t fall apart

- I’m sorry I’m not following???? He was the one who heard a friction of some random prophecy about a BABY and ran to Voldemort knowing that an innocent BABY will be murdered… and then he found out that this INNOCENT BABY belonged to a girl that HE USED TO HE FRIENDS WITH so he regretted ratting the BABY out. And then he couldn’t even save Lily. Like Snape was the whole reason shit went downhill in the first place????

5. He was a spy

The freaking prank bro… not even talking about Remus rn I just wanna focus on the level of insanity Sirius had to posses in order to intentionally and knowingly send a fellow student into a DEATH TRAP.
