Another AO3 thing I’m curious about, how do yall decide if something is good enough to read? Usually I follow a rule of 1 kudos for every 10 hits. One because it’s easy math and two it’s yet to fail me. Thoughts? Do you just go for it and pray it’s good?

like to be clear 'you have to believe dean might kill sam because that's the heart of the show' I actually don't think they were particularly successful with that, I'd argue they pretty immediately gut it. what I think they do with phenomenal success is 'dean has the absolute right to kill sam. or to not kill sam. all major decisions regarding sam are dean's to make & that's the heart of the show. let's watch sam slowly over fifteen solid years come to agree' which is, and I say this as a positive, sickening & grotesque to watch

#not an easy show to watch for Sam lovers #compelling when you’re a Dean hater who loves to hate tho #anyway it’s easy to think this way when you consider Sam has been a monster since he was 6 months old #meanwhile Dean has been a steadfast and committed slayer of evil since childhood
