Decadently sweet.
An specific soundtrack for a tropical rainy Wednesday.
All things are devoid of permanence, nothing is infinite.

Morning routine: wash up, coffee, litmat and of course, music. Today, mellow yet with a fluid like rhythm. I find comfort in small things left for granted by many of us, Because of the hustle and bustle of city life, the music sometimes and most of the times gets drown with the noise yet it's one that comprises the pulse that makes things done in urgency. Best to have music while doing monologues.

Somewhere near the end of the song you can hear Joe Strummer shouting "last train to Skaville" probably not knowing where the direction of Rocksteady might lead yet he witnessed and participated in the last resurgence before his demise. The legacy that The Clash left behind manifested in many form and in so many levels, the engine didn't died out, it's still roaring. From here to eternity.

Fate or Faith We are ergonomically designed and devoid of sharp edges, even on the cellular level. We react to sound. We are bound by fate yet we are segregated by faith. We assume. We conspire. We're humans.

Going through my things I found these, a ruffled tab from a gig back in '92 and a token from a concert by then unknown to many a bundle of precursors of the rising alternative scene stateside, accidentally I've bought their latest efforts without the knowledge that one day I'll see them performing live in this side of the Pacific and yes they didn't disappoint. The said ruffled tab was a gift from a pal that didn't have time then to go so he tried talking me into it and brag about its production.... Well it did turned out fine.
