I really do believe that Samuels “if you love someone, set them free” is a hit about the relationship development between Siegfried and Audrey in season 3. He loves her, even if he haven’t realized jet and giving her no bad feeling about being with Gerald is freedom. But we all know: “what you love, set free. If it comes back to you, it belongs to you - forever.”
