i recently read the book “this savage song” and boom! i fell in love. im pretty sure i can’t describe how much i love the characters. especially august!! id protect him at allll costs.

as a token of gratitude to the author, i drew august in his natural habitat. i hope you like it as much as i do. 🖤(im halfway through the second book and help i can’t put it down!!)

Snippet Sunday

I need to make myself write, so I've decided I'm going to start posting snippets from something I'm working on every Sunday. Enjoy!

Eli didn’t like chapels. Or maybe religion at all, for some reason. 

Victor couldn’t figure anything else out, though. Eli was still mostly an enigma. 

It got worse when Angie dumped him. She said there were no hard feelings; she just knew the relationship wasn’t going anywhere, and they could still remain good friends. Victor was a little sad, but he understood. He’d never really been able to bring himself to love Angie the way she probably needed to be loved. 

A week later, though, he understood: she was kissing someone in one of the hallways. Victor felt the general upset anyone feels, to see their ex with the obligatory rebound. Then he caught a flash of chestnut brown hair, tousled from Angie’s hand all up in it; caught a glimpse of brown eyes when he turned his head. 

Eli.
