Got into another argument on reddit again.

Someone made a post bitching about Zenitsu enjoying the Butterfly triplets massaging him.

Several people pointed out they were being dumb, but OP is being obtuse. They claimed the Butterfly triplets are 8 (no they aren't).

Some other people popped in with dumbass takes, and I responded pointing out he's not a pervert.

Person 2 argued that his "girls have curves" rant was about the Butterfly triplets (?!) and is proof of perversion. What.

Highlights:

Person 2 claimed the Butterfly triplets are 10 and even when I pointed out they're in sixth grade in gakuen, it doesn't count.

When I pointed out that it's fairly normal for people to talk about feeling attraction with their friends (though Zenitsu should have keep his voice down), they said "normal doesn't mean okay". I guess teenagers aren't allowed to feel attraction now?

Claimed "trauma doesn't make it okay" when I brought up Zenitsu being groomed. Just admit you hate abuse victims who don't act like perfect victims and go.

Said Nezuko is 11. She's a) 14, and b) was turned when she was 12. Quit infantilizing female characters, it's super misogynistic.

In Modern AU, Zenitsu totally suffers from somnambulism, but I think that every time he is sleep-walking, it’s very scary for others to see because it’s horror movie worthy to watch.

One time, Kaigaku was at the kitchen getting water, then he heard weird noises and went to check out (just to make sure it’s Zenitsu and if he’s okay). When he got to the reach the stairs, he froze when he literally saw Zenitsu walking DOWNSTAIRS in the spider walk just like in the Exorcist movie (an iconic scene). Let’s just say that Kaigaku avoided being up at night just to not see that shit again LOL

It probably scared the hell out of Tanjiro and Inosuke when they all had their first sleepover, too.

What are your opinions about the epilogue of Kimetsu no Yaiba with their descendants and reincarnations! Thoughts about Kanao/Tanjiro and Zenitsu/Nezuko’s great-grandchildren?

The epilogue is...okay I guess.

It's nice to see that everyone got reincarnated and was able to live happier lives.

As for the endgame ships being confirmed/the descendants...I genuinely do not care about Tan///Kana as a ship and my feelings border on dislike, but the descendants themselves are fine ig? We don't get to know them long enough to form any real attachment to them.

Zenitsu/Nezuko being confirmed is fine. Out of all the main ships, it's the only one with any build up. I may prefer ZenTan, but Zenitsu/Nezuko is ultimately fine and harmless (and better written and set up than almost all of the canon ships except for the pre-established ones). But again, it's impossible to have any real attachment to their descendants, though Touko and Yoshiteru are more memorable than the other descendants.

I kind of feel it might have been better to use the last chapter to spend time with the Taisho era cast and explore what their world is like now that there's no more demons and there's peace now. But the reincarnation chapter works.

I got a Zenitsu shirt for the movie lol. Was this a good financial decision? Probably not. But at least I have something to wear for the movie now.

(I actually got the shirt like two weeks ago and since it was new my provider washed it--I recently moved out of my parents' house--then my provider went on vacation so I went back to my parents' place and they needed me to dogsit anyway, so I just got it back this weekend when I went to do laundry today.)
