this is how his eyes & mouth work! I imagine like. NPC comes out of the closet and wants to take revenge by stealing grians life and friends. but like. hes comically bad at it. like he cant even open doors, what are you going to do? So like. basically metal sonic and sonic to me. Grian sees him as a nuisance at best. while the other hermits think hes pretty creepy.. but endearing! he really wants mumbo to be his friend

I felt extremely inspired by the glitchiness of the server, especially with the Lost Gen guys leaning into it and making it their thing, i just had to make designs based on it! So here they are :D

Some more rambling about my thought process if anyone cares: obviously the biggest influence for these designs was the glitch where players went completely invisible, but i tried implementing the one where players looked to be floating above blocks as well, hence Martyn floats. If you look closely there's also some lore elements hidden in Martyn's design :)

Sometimes it feels like people don't really understand what social communication impairements can actually look like in autism. Sometimes it feels like people reduce it to "socially awkward" or "doesn't understand sarcasm" but they mean it in a more 'simple' and 'quirky' way.

And quite often I see "we're not the problem, it's NTs who can't communicate properly". And while communication can be a struggle for many regardless of NT or ND, this saying reduces the actual issues a lot of autistics face.
