I really like height differences in ships but I hate when the shorter of the duo is treated as something "fragile and breakable" by the taller one and how the world needs to protect them due to it and it's referenced CONSTANTLY in the text.

Especially when it's a mlm ship and the smaller one is described as feminine just due to their height and that's why they're fragile and breakable and need a big strong man to protect them <.<

Caught up on D.Gray-Man, excited to learn that Allen is the ultimate whump character. Canonically destined to just have the worse time ever. The most powerful character in the series is doing it's goddamn best to make the most extreme hurt/comfort storyline come to life

God I have a LOT of thoughts on this series and not nearly enough time to write it out

thinking about kaito points and laughing at aoko for reading sherlock holmes for hakuba and then aoko being absolutely insufferable back at kaito when he starts doing the same for shinichi lmao

thinking of sonoko sending shinichi sexy shots of kaito but sonoko's idea of a sexy shot is either ran's or makoto's boobs so she keeps sending kaito boob pics to shinichi (which is great too btw shinichi saves those as well) but she doesn't know that shinichi actually loves looking at kaito's hands the most. eventually sonoko figures this out and she floods their dms with kaito hand pics until she figures out again that she can use it as a bargaining tool instead lol

Talking about Kid's tie got me thinking...

Shinichi is dating Kaito, and is friends with Hakuba, but denies any knowledge of Kaito being Kid. Hakuba is obviously annoyed. One day, maybe Christmas, Hakuba witnesses Shinichi gifting Kaito a very noticeable tie, maybe a joke tie or with cutesy patterns. Maybe there's rainbows and unicorns on it.

And at his next heist, Kid is wearing that tie. Hakuba almost has an aneurysm about it, and beside him, Shinichi just goes, "huh, what a funny coincidence."

So Hakuba becomes obsessed with proving to Shinichi that Kaito is Kid (he doesn't realize or maybe doesn't want to believe that Shinichi knows and is being a little prick). He looks up all photos of Kid wearing that tie, because obviously the media would be all over that, and takes photos of Kaito wearing that tie to some event, because of course he would do that just to annoy Hakuba.

And Hakuba can prove that the patterns are identical, something that's wildly unlikely of course.

"Huh. What an amazing coincidence," says Shinichi, feigning complete innocence (which he learned during his time as Conan), and Hakuba has to be admitted to the hospital.
