What’s everybody’s most useless skill? If you show me any picture of Godzilla I can tell you exactly which Godzilla suit it is and who was wearing it.

Today our judges review C. M. Caplan's The Fall is All There Is for this year's Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off (SPFBO) finals! 🐉
"The story is an absolutely weird and chaotic mix of post-apocalyptic fantasy with some remnants of technology being around, like the half cybernetically enhanced horses and science based drugs, but it also feels more medieval in the way of life. There are fantasy aspects and a lot of mysteries thrown in as well, and somehow this doesn’t lead to a big mess, somehow it all comes together nicely and makes for a very fresh take!"

"[The] gritty, dark world with cruel gods who dictate the acts of humans, while still being pitiful as heck, and almost as demanding as the landscape, was well done."

Today Julia Kitvaria Sarene reviews J. E. Hannaford's new release, Gates of Sorrow! 🐉
"The darker parts are countered by strong friendships, nice banter, and a good dose of adventure! I do love a found family bound together with supportive relationships. While evil antiheroes can be compelling (looking at you Michael R. Fletcher) there is a relief in finding characters whose fate you care about because you like them as people."

literally feels like a myth that there are people who don't struggle with basic tasks like getting out of bed or going to the shops or seeing a friend for coffee. how does everything not feel like a painstaking chore for them. how do they have the physical and emotional energy every single day
