Intro to Autumns Haunted Dolls :)

Hi, I'm Autumn! This is my blog about my haunted dolls. I've always been fascinated by the paranormal since I was a young girl. I would get what I call spirit dreams and a few times I've seen an apparition or two.

One of the Aparitions I had seen was of a native American man. I was having dreams about a Native American war battle between two tribes and when I woke up, I saw a native American warrior standing over my bed watching me. I was scared. I told my mom and dad, and they thought I had hallucinated.

Well, years later, a medium moved in next door and said the land we lived on was a native battle ground. I looked at her in shock, and she asked what? I told her my dreams from when I was a child. She said I had a gift.

Another time I had woken up around 3 am. I was a little older than what I was when i had those dreams about natives. I kept seeing a man walking/pacing in the hallway. I told my mom again, but she was like, "Oh...well...a man did commit suicide here, maybe it was him." I was like what??

My dad was a registered native because he had been born before the blood quantum laws. I have a small amount of Anishinabe blood, and when I told my native teacher at school about these dreams, she called me a dream walker. I grew up in a reconstruction program for kids, but it doesn't teach everything.

I honestly don't feel I am native enough nor schooled enough in the culture to know exactly what that means or how to practice it like a native would, so i renamed the dreams spirit dreams.

Now I know I haven't seen a ghost since I was a child, but I have always been fascinated by the paranormal. My dad was, too. We would watch ghost hunting shows together, and we would talk about the occult. He bought me a couple of dream catchers due to the nightmares I'd get from what I now know were actually spirits.

My dad died in the fall of 2019 with covid symptoms, but the official diagnosis was pneumonia. It was right before the pandemic had been declared. I had visitation dreams the next few nights until his funeral.

On his 1 year death anniversary in 2020, I lit a white candle in his memory. I didn't know this at the time, but it was a full moon outside. I was out of practice and out of the loop. I had held it for a few mins and thought of happy memories and how much I wanted to see him. Within 3 nights of lighting at the candle, I had a visitation dream, and we had a conversation about what it was like to die.

I started practicing witchcraft again after that experience and had this strong desire to work on spirit work and practice my sensitivities. A new friend of mine that I had met in the craft was also into the paranormal and got herself a haunted doll and thus started my new love and obsession over haunted objects.

Well, the haunted doll community was not kind to me. I ended up making alot of mistakes that ended up with me being tormented by a spirit for about a year. I won't talk about everything that happened because I am not wanting to relive that trauma, but on the plus side it eradicated my fear of demons that I didn't know I had because of growing up in a so called church. Does that mean I want demon dolls? Heck, no, but if I encounter one, I have an idea of how to deal with it.

Since then, though, I've met some no bullshit drama real leaders that I started learning from. My negative experience only led me to have a break to recover from it. Once I felt ready I started thrifting for dolls again, and I've been rebuilding my collection.

So welcome to my blog of haunted dolls and paranormal experiences. I may also reiterate what I've learned from others so that people do not make the same mistakes I did. It is not fun having an attachment torment you for a year.

I don't have much in the way of equipment for investigations. I use my gifts to the best of my ability, a pendulumn, and a custom-built spirit board. It is made with protective herbs like lavender and sandlewood. I use it with my pendulum to talk with the spirit dolls. Someday, I hope to be able to afford an EMF reader.
