Anidala Lovers, Gather Far and Wide— A Spooky-themed Anidala Event is certainly Nigh...

Anidala family, happy September! Our Halloween/autumn event is growing closer, and before we announce the dates, we'd love you to let us know which kind of event appeals to you the most (and encourage you to participate!) While we did run a survey back in the summer, now that we're in the fall, the mods wanted to run it again so we can post up the dates and get interest stirring.

We have THREE options for duration. Let us know what suits our community best— Voting is open for 24 hours!

A One-Day Halloween Event (10/31) with a corresponding raffle

A Week-Long Anidala Event (Most likely hosted the last week of October, with the Final day on Halloween)

A month-long event that runs all October, similar to Kinktober/flufftober, with all Anidala, but of course!

“I can’t thank you enough, Anakin. You’re saving me here.”

“I’m happy to.” His smile seems genuine. Even if it’s not, she appreciates it.

Padmé steps into the bathroom for a minute to spray her favorite perfume. “Why don’t you tell me a little bit about yourself?” She coats her underarms in deodorant. She began to sweat the minute he arrived. “We haven’t had much time to talk.”

“I’m pretty average. I joined the Air Force to pay for school so I could become a commercial pilot. About a year ago, I switched to private flights. It’s pretty fun. I get to meet a lot of important people such as yourself.”

That makes her blush. “I’m hardly important. My work is important. The people I serve are what’s important.”

“It’s good to know some of you politicians care.”

She sticks her head out the bathroom. “A lot of us care.”

He’s still looking at the water. “That’s what they say anyway.”

The fact that he seems to look down on people in her line of work is almost insulting, but she refuses to press the issue. He’s just a guy doing her a favor.

“What made you want to come with me to a wedding posed as my boyfriend?” She steps back into the room. He turns to look at her.

“I like to help people. Seriously. It’s important to me. And it was either this or going to a karaoke bar with Ahsoka.” He wrinkles his nose. “If anything, you’re helping me.”

“Minus the sand.”

He laughs, and it’s maybe the most beautiful laugh she’s ever heard. “Yeah. Minus the sand. You’re gonna owe me big time.”

“Well, if you ever need a fake girlfriend for the holidays, you know who to call.” Padmé blinks, worried that she overstepped. “Of course, you might have a girlfriend. You might be married.”

“Nope,” he says. “Not even close.”

conversely, the same is true for anakin.

people just want padme to be this perfect paragon of virtue but she's not. she's a woman. flawed and all. and falling in love with anakin isn't a slight on her morality or judgment in any way, shape or form, ty!
