Ok but on a serious note, I have so much to analyse/rant about with Jekyll and Hyde like it's so BRILLIANT and for what:

FYI: Only listened to the 1994 Gothic Thriller Album and thus call 'Emma' by 'Lisa' (and will only refer to her as Lisa, thank you very much <3)

ALRIGHT BUT- Take Me As I Am is the most beautiful romance song ever... Like they're swearing to each other and accepting each other and god they're the most beautiful couple ever.

And then: 'give me your hand, give me your heart!' 'swear to me, we'll never part!' THE FACT THAT LISA IS SO LOYAL TO JEKYLL. She is always by his side, she defends him against her own father in His Work And Nothing More and THEN Jekyll is the one to swear about never parting... But he dies anyway IN FRONT OF HER ON THEIR WEDDING DAY. Tragedy tragedy I'm not crying, you are...

Also about His Work And Nothing More... The overlap is so beautiful. Utterson worries about Jekyll and his work/sanity, Sir Danvers questions everything, Lisa defends Jekyll, and then JEKYLL FINALLY CALLS OUT TO LISA... aaaaaaa

Can I just say asw, the steampunk aesthetic in The World Has Gone Insane... It drives ME INSANE. How it works and blends the madness into something as methodical as like- Train tracks and machinery and work which is everything that Henry Jekyll is all about...

Honorary mention to: 'I see the reaper grinning at my door!' being such an iconic and creepy line for Hyde in that song.

I don't really care for Lucy all that much (sorry Lucy stans). I understand her plight and empathise with her but... Getting with Hyde... Or trying to... Just remember that he's a psycho PLS

Also I love how Hyde's evilness is rather subtle until 'Alive' and then you get the full extent of Jekyll's descent into madness + the murders later on and the whole take over situation... Ofc Confrontation is already iconic but now I understand it and it's brilliant... I think that's enough for today but have fun with that <33

[need a name for this curse]

- causes thorny vines to grow from within the victim. The curse plants a seed within the victim’s body. From this seed, the vines begin to grow. Eventually the thorns will start to pierce the victim’s skin. After the first vine sees sunlight, it’ll start to flower, leading to painful flower buds forming on the vines (and within the victim). Large flowers start to bloom from every available area. Drinking / Eating will only feed the flower, making it grow even faster. 

Trying to prevent the curse by staying out of direct sunlight will not help. The vines will simply grow deeper inward, constricting and puncturing organs until the vines find a way out, usually through the eyes or mouth. 

A tell-tale sign of the curse beginning to take hold is the victim coughing up bloody flower petals.

I have a theory

So, everyone knows Richtofen has blue eyes, right? Or, well, he has blue eyes now. They were green at one point, but then became blue. Everyone then draws Richtofen (both Primis and Ultimis, but we're talking Ultimis rn) with heterochromic/mismatched eyes.

Well, I have a theory

Richtofen's eyes were originally green, but didn't turn blue until after he came in contact with the MPD. Allow me to explain myself

Richtofen's eyes were always green, but after he came in contact with the MPD, they got a tinge of blue in them, and when he got to the Aether, they turned completely blue, hence why the zombies under his control's eyes are also blue

I made a sketch demonstrating what I mean

As you can see, his eyes slowly go from green to blue after contact with the MPD. (I also hc his eyes look like that once he's in the Aether)

So, yeah, a small theory but I thought it was a cool concept

But that's just a theory

My verdict on the BBC Ghosts Xmas Special:

- Beautifully festive

- Not their best Xmas special tho (because it wasn’t all that humorous imo)

- Emotional. Crying screaming sobbing EVERYTHING.

- Bittersweet ending but honestly so perfect how it felt like it was for good but it wasn’t, because Alison cares, Mike cares, THEY ALL CARE!! Fucking hell!!!

- Also Robin giving the final monologue was so touching for me, since he was the one that was so lost and finally was able to feel it all, being that mix of primal and wise

- MAT AND JIM HOW DARE YOU!!! I’m happy but I’m hurting jfc!!!!
