An Inexact Science

“I just don’t want to get obsessed,” she tells him, remaining on the topic of Aunt Wu. “It was kind of embarrassing last time.”

It takes too much of her to not look over at the fortune tellers yet again.

It takes just as much to not look at Zuko.

Because looking at Zuko will remind her why she wants to talk to Aunt Wu. And if she talks to Aunt Wu-she forces herself to stop thinking on it and walks over to some other fruit on the stand.

Zuko just hums behind her, following quietly.

“If you want to go, I think you should,” he tells her. She presses her lips together. Her gaze drags from the fruit to the doors of Aunt Wu’s once more. “Who knows, if you bothered her that much last time you were here, maybe she won’t even let you in.” She snorts a little at the joke.

Summery: Zuko and Katara’s journey to find Ursa lands them in Makapu Village and Katara kinda, maybe, sorta wants to ask Aunt Wu a question about a prediction from the last time she was here. (Finished for @zutaramonth​ 2023 day 16, Fortune Teller!)
