I dunno. I haven't really been inspired to draw them lately since I've been working on my modern au for the time being. I've really wanted to get the story properly ironed out so I can post it some day

I will say though to clear the air about something; I do not and will not ever refer to my art as "content." I am not a machine to pump out pretty pictures of the blorbos but a human person who likes to make art and stories to share with the world. I would appreciate if anyone on my page would politely not refer to me or my art as content(creator). Thank you 😊

He has a durge play through, a regular play through and he made a character based off Revali {who just so happens to be a ranger} that he does annoying shit with and makes romance Astarion. “It’s like you’re dating yourself Vali!!” “I hate you.”

Modern AU: Do Link and Revali watch tv or movies? If so, do they ever argue about what to watch, or snacks/food for while they’re watching?

They more like watching streams together. Revali does have a few shows he watches on his own but Link doesn't take them seriously enough so he gets mad watch them with him (so he just doesn't anymore unless he's seen it already).

Link enjoys Let's Play videos a lot so he watches a ton of those on repeat! Revali begrudgingly joins him (mostly cause Link gets so engrossed and it's kinda cute to him.)

As for snacks!! They don't argue per-se but Revali tries to keep to a "healthy" diet (he's weird about food) so when Link busts out all the chips and sweet rolls, and cupcakes he's seething mad about it. Even though he ends up eating a ton of it anyway.

{on very rare occasions, Revali will make Link a latte at home. Link knows very well to cherish it}

Link liking the rito that is Revali doesn't make him a furry, oh no, he becomes something much better, he becomes Revali's birdie, and Revali is very happy and proud that Link is into him. I wouldn't be surprised if he writes diary entries detailing his latest successes at getting more flustered reactions out of Link.

It just occurred to me that Revali has essentially been using Link as a form of target practice for beak biting. For him to get good at it, he needs to practice a lot. He needs to know how hard to bite. Were to bite to get the biggest reaction. How much force is to much, and to little. How much restraint he needs. When he should be forceful. The same principles for learning archery, he's using for beak biting, only Link is his target.

ah but has Link not also been doing the same?

Figuring out where to run his fingers through Revali’s feathers to make him shudder and coo. How he melts when he kisses the underside of his beak or rubs his nose against the top of it. What kinds of sing-song notes to sing to send Revali into a full flustered frenzy. Link would have so much fun trying to figure out what things make his bird speechless

Has there been an occasion where Revali does the rito equivalent of making a move, but is interrupted before he can go all the way?

Revali seems a man too awkward to blatantly make a move. He seems like the kind of guy who would put a note in someones locker and assume their answer was yes and then decide they’re dating now. Though there are probably a few occasions where he’s like “holy shit my boyfriend is very dense and doesn’t really act like it” and then tries to shittily do a hylian dating custom (like flowers or jewelry or a picnic date) and they end up getting interrupted by their duties or the champions

I am so so fond of the idea of Revali taking Link in during a snowstorm or Link staying in the village for an extended time and Revali letting himself be soft with him. It starts as companionable silence that turns into quiet laughter, inside jokes, teasing. Then soft touches. A brush of his wing against Link side or Link combing his fingers across Revali’s feathers to smooth them out. Sharing a hammock. Link never wanting to leave.

OMG that is an awesome rito Link design, and Revali's absolutely flustered at his appearance! There needs to more interactions between this version of Link and Revali. It would be interesting to see how less reserved Revali is considering he wouldn't have to restrain himself because Link's body wouldn't be as delicate as his hylian one. Like if Link was dealing with a semi supressed Revali because the rito is conscious about not hurting him, how would rito Link handle an unsuppressed Revali? If other rito can't handle a courtship from Revali, that can only mean rito Link is really in for it.

My personal preference for Revalink is that they aren’t really careful with one another. Could Revali hurt him? Absolutely. Would Link just push him to the floor because he’s built like a brick house? Of course he would. I think being rough with one another (physically & emotionally) is a very freeing thing for them both.

Revali’s never been able to find a good match for him; Link is ALWAYS holding back everything about himself. I think them being rough around the edges with each other just makes so much sense. Someone they don’t have to pretend with. Someone who can handle them. I think that’s how a lot of their injury mishaps happen (Link absolutely has almost broken a wing on Revali because hollow bones). Link’s silence and both of their emotional ineptitude makes them blunt and abrasive with one another. I think if they both didn’t have the capacity they wouldn’t work together.

But having rito Link? Where he can fly? Revali would be ecstatic to have someone to fly with. To show his Gale to (maybe teach him?) To train with.

I wonder if rito Link could keep up with him? Would they be matched in archery? Or would he still be partial to the sword?
