i think the latest episode just made me realise how deluded i was about lottie and the religion they "embraced" in the wilderness. the frog mating ritual was a slap to the face and made me realise that theres nothing supernatural. lottie IS clinically insane. sure, like her cult members and for the plot, i just gave room for doubt that maybe there really is something supernatural but there isnt. and frankly im amazed how easily is a mind willing to bend rules and what not.

these girls were basically subjected to mass psychosis orchestrated by a schizophrenic young girl as a way to protect their own consciousness from the brutality of isolation in the wilderness.

taissa too probably has some inherited mental health problems that accelerated in stressful conditions. i suspected DID but it was allegedly refuted by the actress (i still stand by my opinion)

severance finale spoilers. thoughts on innie mark

the ending sequence may make people hate innie mark but its crucial to understand that we all know hes as good as dead. and he knows it. he cant exist outside of certain floors. he just can't live in these floors for a lifetime with helly. he was selfless and did it all for his outtie in the finale. he got out gemma safe and by that time, he realised that hes never getting what he wants, which is to live a full life. instead of probably dying at that moment to go out with gemma, he realised that hed rather live his life a little more, even just for 10 minutes. he knows that eventually, outtie mark will reunite with his wife.

but right now? its just him and helly. they are in the midst of a revolution, with their fellow innies and have a hope for a complete life.
