The Academy nominating Ryan Gosling but not Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig literally prove the point of the movie.

it’s so exhausting to see indians continue to be proud of the country and talk about the increasing education rate but the education itself is so backwards. not to mention the fact that so many indians not being educated further pushes the anti-gay, misogynistic, racist agendas that plague indian society.
Tumblr media
(sorry for the tilt on the picture lol)
i still don’t understand why this government is acting like an ass when it comes to social issues like these and social change.
like okay i understand there would be riots because we are still at large a very conservative society but if you think about it, SOUTH KOREA, of all countries has given rights to queer couples before.
moreover there is literally evidence of lgbtq+ figures’ existences in hindu mythology
and not to mention this is a BASIC. HUMAN. RIGHT. that LGBTQ people are being deprived of.
india is not as progressive as the government tries to make it seem.
if the mere existence of lgbtq people is a threat to you, then we are NOT the problem. you are.
homosexuality has existed for years, centuries even and there is nothing you can do to erase that history.
i hope the next generation of politicians is better because it’s so important to acknowledge the fact that lgbtq+ people are minorities too and deserve the same amount of protection and respect these people give the other minorities.

HISTORY OF BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange)
The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) is the oldest stock exchange in Asia and one of the largest in the world. It was established in 1875 as "The Native Share & Stock Brokers Association" and was later renamed as the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The BSE began as a small group of brokers trading under a banyan tree outside the Town Hall in Mumbai. Over the years, it grew in size and significance, becoming the hub of the Indian stock market. In 1957, the BSE became the first stock exchange in India to be recognized by the government.
The BSE was initially a manual stock exchange, with trades being recorded by hand and communicated via runners and telegrams. In the late 1980s, the BSE shifted to an electronic trading platform, making it one of the first exchanges in the world to do so.
In 1994, the BSE launched the S&P BSE SENSEX, which is a market index that tracks the performance of the 30 largest and most liquid companies listed on the exchange. The SENSEX has since become the benchmark index for the Indian stock market, reflecting the overall performance of the market.
Today, the BSE has over 5,000 listed companies and is the largest stock exchange in India by market capitalization. It is also the first exchange in India to obtain recognition as a stock exchange from the Government of India under the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956.
In recent years, the BSE has focused on expanding its global reach and increasing its technology offerings. It has established several international offices and has developed a range of technology-driven products and services to support the growing needs of the market.
Overall, the BSE has played a crucial role in the development of the Indian economy and remains a key player in the global financial landscape.
In the Next Article We know about Why A country Need Stock exchange and what are the role of stock market in indian Economy

i saw a tiktok earlier today asserting that if two leaders are unable to set aside differences without causing bloodshed on the battlefield, they dont deserve to be leaders.
this is a one-sided arguement which shows no regard for culture. bad country relations occur due to religion and culture. the idea that countries can exist under a formal agreement tends to overlook how deep culture and a country's specific history and values are 'non-negotiable' in their functionality and their government. and no matter how hard we try, the government will not be abolished.
theres two sides to every arguement and assertion.

where do you stand with your morals? at what point do you draw a line between the people surrounding you and their stance on your morals? what is right and what is wrong?

ai
when was the last time you sat down and thought to yourself, "how do i know what i percieve from the internet is accurate?"
the rise in ai deepfakes and the current verification scandle on twitter (sorry, x) is painting a stain on the human instinct of "if i can see it and hear it, it's true". we must look beyond these methods of sourcing information to be true.
we must question how information gets onto the internet and question information until 100 per cent proven to be accurate.
stay safe.

girl-math
as much as i am for the concept of women being women and getting to enjoy their lives the way men get to, im also a strong believer in working away from the infantilisation of women.
the concept of girl-math stems from women spending absurd amounts of money on coffee, justifying $350 sephora hauls, and doing their nails. its created a genre of content of girl-*insert activity*.
girl-math has opened a new gateway of men being subtly misogynistic under the guise of being logical. they use girl-math examples in their podcasts to talk about the effect of social media on today's women and how women want freedom and independence whilst "acting like this".
i would never want to shun women for enjoying their lives, but to some extent you are inviting men to look at you as a child. however, i am also not justifying the men for openly shunning these women for content that is clearly comedic. even under the guise of 'logic', people shouldn't be condemning and questioning a woman's intelligence and the feminism movement as a whole.

stories.
with current isreal and palestine news, i thought to redirect onto the lack of attention we as viewers are giving to the people of both countries. how disconnected we are as viewers to have this ongoing human issue leave our mind within the minute that the instagram story ends and moves to a cat meme.
when did we begin this slow descent into dystopia? we allow ourselves constant interaction with people on the internet yet we lack basic empathy.
it does not matter which country you believe to be in the right, for right now what matters is how un-jarring, normal, and un-caring we are over such a topic.
