hi love :D i was wondering if you would be interested in making a murphy bed in your style please? ^-^ we are significantly lacking CC murphy beds - even recolors are so rare, i'm suprised! my current apartment in the game has one as the focus point in the living room and it makes me sad i don't have much choice with it. hi! i'm not quite sure what you mean in my style (you can send me a reference pic!), so i just converted the one from TS3 for some older-fashioned variety. added some random muted colors (feel free to recolor). and ofc it requires tiny living

and you're right - there are barely any cc murphy beds, weirdly enough. it's no harder to make than a door, so it's interesting no one has really made any. i did find quite a good recolor here though

hi! that bassinet is outdated, but i fixed the link for the deco version (to use with the invisible bassinet mod). you can also download my updated one if you like

i'm open to making a thermostat! ATS4 has a bunch that are perfect for older homes though. if you don't like any of those you can always shoot me a reference pic

they're live edit objects, so you need the cheat. you can find them in sculptures. also make sure to download the 10mb one, that's the one that the others texture reference

recoloring objects to match is the bane of my existence (photoshop actions never work for me???), but i will put it on the list <3 they need more colours anyhow, i keep getting frustrated that they don't match

making cc is super intimidating when you first get into it, for sure. i broke a sweat doing my first recolor lol

fortunately, with so many people in the community sharing their knowledge, it's a lot easier to get into modding/cc making than it used to be. and when you get stuck, the Sims 4 Studio forums are your friend!

hi! it's CC - a custom background replacing one of the base game mattes. some of them are city living mattes recolored to be warmer, and others i found on google and edited to be transparent

you lose the magic when you zoom out though lol

my parents had the one on the left but i like the one on the right better bc it's more versatile. both make me itchy and i love them

i have a dining set like this on the list. also i promised someone awhile ago banquette seating, so i'm doing that too

i want the TS3 trim so bad in ts4 but i don't know how to make half-wall trim. i got it in S4 Studio but she's a mess in game

i know it's possible to do, as syboulette has custom trims, but i'm stuck rn. will keep you posted if i figure it out!!

OMG you're back yaaay !!!! If you don't mind, could you share some updates on your save (if youre comfortable of course) I love looking at the pics you post, your build style is so amazing and realistic !

the crest harbor save is paused for now, as i was using CAW in those saves so i need to wait for an update

in the meantime, now that TOOL and For Rent are working, i have been playing around with something else :D

this is a little niche and probably incredibly difficult to try to animate but a cool idea for the nostalgia set specifically in the kitchen is one of those pull out trash cans from the cabinets. We had one in an old house my family lived in, cousins & I would always play in it and hide in it but I was just thinking about older trash can themes while i was using the kitchen set for my current build.

added it to the download folder :)

it uses the tuning for the nano-can, so you'll receive simoleons for your trash

note: sims are able to throw garbage away, and the cabinet will animate, but they won't actually route *to* the trash can first; they just sort of chuck it into the abyss. whenever i try to add constraints to the interaction, the sim can no longer throw away trash, so i've left it as-is for now. trash cans do not like to be edited apparently, and changing any little bit of tuning can make it stop functioning altogether. (if anyone knows how to force sims to route with the trash, please let me know!)

also you'll notice the cupboard is slightly darker than the others. it's using a different shader, because the counter shader prevents the animation from playing. another annoying little thing i'm not sure how to fix

it's far from perfect, but i hope you get some use out of it!

Hii, hope you're well, i was wondering will you still adding prank calls and odd jobs to the phones also would be nice if you haven't already updated this to it for ordering books, maids and repair men to phones to.

hiya! maids and repair men are already on the phone - you can find them under the 'hire a service...' menu

& i do have it on my to-do list to add odd jobs. will do that in the next update

as prank calls have their own animation, i'm trying to learn more about animating in TS4 so I can improve the existing (admittedly iffy, what with the feet sliding all over the place/the phone not properly 'attached' to hand) animation, and add new ones. i made the functional phone pretty much on a whim at someone's request, just to see if i could do it - it's my first functional object and i didn't expect it to get quite as much attention as it has. i really want to 'polish' it up now though

i dislike the fact that the sims use the same short, non-looping animation for each of the interactions, and i'm wanting to add variety/speech bubbles. still have a lot to learn though! animating with an object is a lot harder than just making poses with an accessory, something i learned the hard way.

so whenever i get to a point i'm happy with animating-wise, i'll be updating the phone with prank calls, flirty calls, etc.

and since i'm rambling about it: i also want to add a little feature where sims can get angry at the ringing phone, stomp over and answer it in a temper. i want sims with the socially awkward trait to become tense whenever the phone rings. i also need to add a test set to fix the fact that you can ring up any sim at 3am with no consequences. and a '{0.SimFirstName} didn't answer their phone. Maybe try again later?' option for variety, as it breaks immersion a bit to have sims answer their landlines 100% of the time

basically a lot of little QOL updates now that i know a bit more about tuning. i've got a massive sticky note on my desktop about it

also i'm taking suggestions for custom drama nodes (the actual pop-up calls you get when the phone rings) because i've had it up to *here* with the Landgraab Power Company

Hi, I hope you are doing well. I'm honestly so glad you're back. I love seeing all of your creations, whether it be your CC or your save file progress. That being said, I am also trying to create my on world and I was wondering if you happened to know of any cc that I can use to create my own sidewalk or street. I found a foundation in debug that I was using, but I'm not really fond of it as it looks like it has lines throughout the texture. I'd appreciate your help, if it's not too much to ask.

if you're looking for something more maxis match, there are 5 in-game roads you can access in S4S as well! just tick the debug box and search for 'road'. customizing it should be as simple as doing a recolor of the texture

i will be editing those roads eventually for my save but i haven't gotten around to it yet

Hello this may seem random but I was wondering if there is a bed frame made to be compatible with your messy bed that you released a while ago. Sorry if I missed it or if the answer is simply no lol.

i haven't made a proper frame yet, but currently the bed should work with any simple mattress. the one from Syb's Cheap & Chipped set works nicely

here's one i just whipped up real quick using the mattress from the basement treasures kit, if you want it!

it should also work with any bedframe that doesn't have a footboard, but you'll have to play around with it
