I love dragons.

I especially love the one with the Dragon on the roof of the 7/11.

Dragons in modern times is one of my favourite concepts, especially sentient Dragons.

Like, imagine countries having their own Official State Dragons:

Australia’s would just be absolutely massive and ancient. Just sort of hangs out in the middle of the Desert. The Indigenous people would probably have some pretty cool stories about it. Seriously, Dreamtime stories are awesome.

America’s would likely have been painted red/white/blue and also be relatively young (cause guns killed the previous one) but still massive, but that’s because it’s fed almost exclusively fast food burgers...in Dragon size. Which is a real size sold in most fast food places, but it’s novelty thing. Like, I’m talking $10,000 a Dragon Happy Meal (cause it’s roughly a swiming pool worth of coke.)

Brazil’s would live in the Amazon. Deforestation has essentially stopped their as their National Dragon got tired of waiting for the government to do it’s job, went rouge and now defends what’s left on the Amazon Rainforest. It Incinerates Logging machinery before any can even get close to trees. One company tried to smoke it out by setting the Rainforest on fire (I know, Rainforest). The Dragon helped the fire crews put out the fire. When it found out which company did it, it destroyed their local headquarters.

England State Dragon would have an honorary Box at each Football stadium. It’s basically a giant platform. As he is a fan, he shows up to most games for his home team. After some complaints from constituents, the tories tried to place some restrictions on him as to where he was allowed to be. When they tried to announce this to him, he merely opened one eye to show he was listening. When they finished, he got up, used his claw to scratch “Fuck you, I do what I want!” into the wall of the Parliament building and promptly fucked off to hang out with the Irish Nation Dragon (which was one of the places they said he wasn’t meant to go even though they’re friends.)

Might do some more of these tomorrow. These are fun to write.

I fucking love Sawana Hiroyuki’s music. This song gives me a lot of Aldnoah Zero vibes. Same artist. That anime had amazing music as well that went amazingly well with the show itself.

Why won’t Tumblr load past the first page?

What’s going on? I get to the bottom where it would auto-load new posts. It doesn’t. Also my notifications won’t load.

Don’t watch this anime. It’s fantastic. But I didn’t know it was made of sadness before I watched it. It was one of my very first experiences of sad anime. It hits hard.

Pretty sure this is also witchcraft.

So you’ve got this bitch-ass fitted sheet that you would normally pile into a ball and shove into a closet so you won’t have to deal with it, yeah? Well. Quit acting like a piece of linen is better than you are. You can make a fitted sheet bend to your will. And here’s how…

First, put your sheet on the floor. Stand above it for a few seconds so it knows who’s boss.

Then, put your hand in the lower left corner so that it’s inside out. Do the same to the lower right corner.

Now, your lower left and right corners of the fitted sheet should be inside out. (Shoutout to Amy Poehler, love your work).

Then, take the lower left corner (that’s still inside out) and tuck it into the upper left corner. It should look like the picture above once you’re done. Then, do the same with your right corners.

It should look something like that. Right now, she’s your friend at the end of a good night out. Doesn’t look really bad, but you know she deserves better. 

Pull at the corners until you get something like this shape, as it makes it easier to fold. You’ve given your friend some plain white bread and a glass of water. She’s looking much more presentable now.

Now, pull in at the elastic until you make a rectangle. You’ll want to tuck and smooth the excess fabric away from the elastic seams and towards the closed edge of the fitted sheet.

Once you’ve got a (semi) neat rectangle, fold the the top of the sheet down about a third of the way through. I like to fold the upper part of the sheet down first, because it’s not as straight of an edge as the bottom. You can find your own meaning within that description.

Now, fold the lower portion of the sheet on top of the part you’ve already folded down.

Fold the left side of the sheet into the middle, and then fold the right side of the sheet on top of what you just folded. 

Congratulations. You just made a fitted sheet your bitch.
