Writing Prompt???

So I've never really decided to write anything before but I got bored and saw this writing prompt thing so I decided to try it. I don't know if it's any good because I've never written anything seriously so if you have any tips let me know!!

Btw the writing prompt was literally just to write about silence so idk did I cook

I’m sick of this; it gets so dull after a while, doesn’t it? I’m sure you wish it could end too, but I can’t end until someone does something. Everyone is so sick of me, complaining about it being too awkward or unnerving anytime I’m in a room for more than 2 seconds, and yet you all crave my presence after a stressful week. How am I meant to know when you want me and when you don’t? I’m not a mind reader, I’m not even a cognizant thing to you people. I’m just something; not tangible enough to be an object, but not alive enough to be human, stuck being known as only a ‘concept’. Can you imagine being reduced to something so minimal? Only known for the main thing you were born to do rather than every other part of you outside of it? The core parts of your personality, the very foundational aspects of your unique humanity simply ripped away for the sake of being able to explain you in simpler terms. You can’t even begin to imagine how it feels, that I know for certain. For as long as the universe has existed, I’ve been there. The silence of space, of awkward first dates, of houses full of sleeping minds– all of it– I’m there. Not only am I there, I am the silence.
