Hello <3
It has come to my realization that I have a lot of blogs and have never actually compiled them together.
Combined ADHD brain with my desire for organization has resulted in some 5+ different fandoms blogs. I am very sorry, it will probably continue.
Chances are if I'm not posting on one blog, I'm having a different fandom obsession.
List:
@frogonamelon (Hi, you're here)
This is my main. It's mostly TMNT but there's a smattering of other fandoms, fanart, and original stuff here too
@ask-maplessleo is an offshoot of this one. The comic hasn't been updated in a year. I hope to get back to it but I'm not going to promise it
@gnomeonamelon
This one is Riordanverse stuff- Percy Jackson, Kane Chronicles, Magnus Chase, etc
@axolotlonamelon
This is Disney stuff- Its mostly Amphibia but GF, TOH, Svs, etc
@harding-pencroft-academy-au is a both an offshoot of this one and Gnome. It's a Disney/Daughter of the Deep crossover au
@froggitonamelon
This is Undertale, UT Yellow, Deltarune, etc stuff
If I ever post for similar video games, chances are they'll be here
@noneedtoheedtheweed
As of making this, this is the newest blog
It's all my superhero stuff- broadest category so far so I can maybe slow down making these
So far, it's all MLB and Marvel but more DC will show up here eventually and maybe PPG, Invincible, etc if I ever get the motivation

Hello!
I've been working on and off on the Axolotl Society au (explanation) and realized that I have 3 au versions of Marco Diaz. I want to do transgirl Marco and don't know what to name her
Summing up my Marcos:
The Queen's Roses au: Marco doesn't play a big role in this one as she and Star get into a fight and Marco goes back to Earth. Probably pursues a degree in psychology. She and Star still care about each other but are more distant friends than anything else.
4 Stars eu: This one follows canon the most closely. She becomes a motivational speaker throughout the multiverse, really playing into the whole 'Turdina' image. She and Star have a sibling like relationship :)
The Axolotl Society au: Marco attends HPA through their shark track (which is focused on weapon handling, combat, and leadership). She's more militaristic than any other version of Marco here and tends to be a voice of reason amongst the group (while still willing to be reckless and wild). Marco and Star end up dating in this universe
Edit: The people have spoken!
The Queen's Roses au Marco is going to stick with Marco. She's not a major part of that au so it'll be easiest
4 Stars eu Marco is going to be Luna. She's family to Star and they've known about her cheek marks for quite a while
Axolotl Society Marco is going to be Margo. This cast is huge, so it'll be easiest to stick with something similar

Hello! Welcome to the culmination of the Newtopia trilogy (at least for now)! 1/ 2/ 3
Design Notes Below!
Marcy has a design!! I cropped the heck out of her entire outfit because 1: I refuse to let her go up in smoke because she wanted to stick to an aesthetic and 2: her entire thing is diving so for the sake of herself and the newts around her, I made her outfit quicker to dry.
Ironically, I think I've done more actual au lore heavy lifting in this than any other so far.
The girls are 15 when they arrive in Amphibia instead of 13 (honestly this makes a lot of sense anyways with Anne in varsity tennis and Marcy studying for her PSATs)
They're in Amphibia for 5 years, at least for them. There is a bit of Wonderland logic going on here, but I think I explained that in the extended universe timeline post
Instead of Heart, Strengh, and Wit, I'm pulling inspiration from the phrase 'Mind, Body, Heart, and Soul'.
Instead of being green like wit is, mind is this light blue/cyan color that was eyedropped from one of the four star colors shown in Amphibia's afterlife (my banner is the screenshot I used).
The Weapons:
Drawing these reference-less was a pain. I actually designed her weapons a while ago, looking into harpoons, crossbows, and Nintendo switch guns (which apparently exist) to form them but I, like an idiot, didn't have it with me when I drew these. I made do with what I could remember but the one controller crossbow especially suffered greatly. One day, I will share actual accurate designs for her crossbows. Today is not that day.
As for why they are 'Nintendo Switch' crossbows, I figured she would use something she's familiar with. She probably designs most of her inventions with these, simply taking them out and slipping the controller into a different weapon/tool/invention. Since they have more buttons than just a trigger, she's able to automate a lot of this crossbow. Alongside drawing it, reeling the attached rope back, and firing, she is also able to automatically enhance her bolts with fire, pain peppers, boomshrooms, etc. She doesn't have the time or equipment to do as much with potions in this universe, but she is able to give her attacks a bit more kick.
#Marcy has/ is going to have some crazy tan lines by the time she returns home#4 stars au#amphibia#marcy wu#newtopia#amphibia marcy#amphibia au#amphibia fanart

Marcy Wu: Newtopia's first and only marine scholar
The Newtopia Trilogy: 1/ 2/ 3
In a world where saltwater is a death sentence, the ocean is completely unexplored. It was believed that either nothing lived down there, or it was full of monsters that would drag their ships down if they went too far beyond the shore.
Marcy found herself in a unique position when she discovered this. She was attending Newtopia University when this interesting fact caught her eye. Knowing amphibians' tumultuous relationship with salt, the teenager decided to test whether or not it was actually toxic. It wasn't, it was just salt.
The girl begins sneaking out to the smallest and least populated harbor, an old one with sediment build up, crumbling docs, and a few worn aground boats. The sea spray wall being the only new thing in the area. She dives and finds the ruins of sunken ships filled with sealed wine vessels and precious metals. She writes her final paper on this harbor, and it gains a lot of attention fairly quickly.
She begins to apprentice under and gather data for various different kinds of scholars from historians, economists, and archeologists to every kind of naturalist under the sun. Marcy even begins to do some of her own research, going out on Merchant ships and diving around mainland coastal cities and in deeper waters.
Marcy gets her answer- yes. Luckily, she's played Subnautica enough times to be desensitized. The ocean only caps out at about 40 meters deep, so they aren't too big, and she has a pully system to get out fast if need be.
She even begins to capture smaller fish species and other marine life to study in Newtopia, creating the first ever aquarium.
She begins to be known as the Naturalist of the Abyss
Other names I was considering that sound raw as heck but didn't fit what she actually does: Curator of the Fathomless Waters and Professor of the Drowned Realm
#Fun Fact: Marcy has two friends- a Newt and an Axolotl- who both do their paper on humans with Marcy as their object of study#They're the only ones who knew about her paper subject ahead of time#She goes swimming with Anne much to the Plantars' horror#4 stars au#amphibia#marcy wu#newtopia#amphibia marcy#amphibia worldbuilding baby~

The Rise and Strength of Newtopia
The Newtopia Trilogy: 1/ 2/ 3
The majority of Newts aren't actually found in Newtopia!
When the city-state was gaining prominence on the continent, they became masters of shipbuilding and maritime trade, setting up small villages along the coast (a very undesirable location due to the deadly salt and lack of proper farmland) where there were harbors to protect their ships and plentiful resources to build more.
These communities were isolated both due to their peripheral location and dense tree coverage. This served them well as they were able to stay out of the way while the Toads and Frogs wared. They were able to become safe hubs of trade and refuge for amphibians (mostly Axolotls) escaping the conflict.
As Newtopia itself has always been one of the most fortified in all the land between the sea surrounding it and the strong fortified walls keeping both the salt and invaders out, ships are the only way in and out... and the only ones with ships are the Newts.
This allows these outposts to monopolize trade between the Newts and other amphibians, growing their own power in the process by obtaining raw materials, processing them into luxury goods such as jewelry, Newtopian wine, and dyed clothing, and becoming associated with high status.
When King Atlas Leviathan decided to take advantage of the weakened Toad and Frog communities with the power of the music box, they fell quickly.
Due to the Newts' isolation and culturally developed fascination with the mainland, most who left would write all they could learn about other amphibian cultures, nature, and history. They gained a well-deserved reputation as scribes and scholars, with the Newtopian Library and University becoming stuff of legends. While Axolotls were occasionally allowed into the capital, they are famously dismissive of outsiders.
#Newtopia and the newts in general are heavily inspired by the Phoenicians#I referenced ancient Tyre (back when it was an island) Athens and Atlantis for the city itself#The Newts are prideful scholarly and resourceful so I hope this fits#Phoenician history class has been so helpful it's so in depth thank you prof!

Hiya! I haven't had much time to draw lately but I wanted to share an Anne design for you guys!
Story Ideas/ Notes for Anne:
When Anne was 15, she was found hiding in a pond by Rosemarie "Marie" Plantar (aka Mama Plantar), who took her in and nursed her back to health.
After a month or so, they decided that she needed real clothes and made them for her as an anniversary.
Anne was really good with 8 year old Sprig but wasn't really sure what to do with 2 year old Polly. Tadpoles aren't all that for physical affection or conversation, so she mostly left her alone in the beginning.
The oldest Plantar child was there when the herons attack. She was responsible for protecting the children inside Stumpy's, stepping up to protect them and keep them from panicking. When she saw one of the Flour triplets swimming outside trying to get to their parents, Anne dove in to save her, using just a hint of her calamity powers for the first time.
Unfortunately, many of the kids' parents died in that attack, including the Plantar parents. Hop Pop and, to a lesser extent Anne, would need to fill the hole to the best of their ability.
Design Notes:
The patches and the cloth she's using to tie her hair up are from the clothes she came to Amphibia in.
This is a rough draft o__O I'm tweaking colors and I think I need to make her hat bigger, but her design has always remained the most consistent
It's a bit hard to tell since I shaded the heck out of it, but Anne's eyes are #96a4fd, which is a light blueish purple color, like a pastel indigo
#Marie called her Lilyanne as a reference to finding her with a lily pad on her head#She managed to Mandela effect everyone into believing that her full name is 'Lilyanne' and Anne's never had the heart to correct them#Throws the other girls for a loop though#4 stars au#amphibia#anne boonchuy#the Plantar family#Anne should've gotten a farmer's outfit in this essay I will-#design wip

Hello! I wanted to organize my au tags here for your understanding/ viewing/ searching pleasure!
#4 Stars au
My Amphibia au that took inspiration from both the introduction of the olms in season 3 and the 4 different star colors in the afterlife: purplish blue/ indigo, pink, teal, and yellow. While [currently undetermined], a background/ minor character from early season 3, is the biggest addition, there are many including:
The girls spending years in Amphibia through the power of Alice in Wonderland logic
In depth looks at elements of Amphibia and Amphibian culture
More balance of focus between the four girls
The girls taking advantage of their unique strengths as humans to carve out their own niche in Amphibian society
#4 Stars eu
Eu for Extended Universe, this is everything that exists in this world of 4 Stars that isn't Amphibia.
Gravity Falls, Star vs the Forces of Evil, The Owl House, Amphibia, The Ghost and Molly Mcgee, and Hailey's On It! all exist on the same version of Earth, with a general motif of them helping Earth (intentionally or not) be ready to join the interdimensional table.
#The Queen's Roses au
A multifandom crossover between Gravity Falls, Star vs the Forces of Evil, The Owl House, and Amphibia where Bad End Friends (the concept not the generally recognized characters) versions of Mabel Pines, Star Butterfly Johansen, Luz Noceda, and Anne Boonchuy from different universes are a part of Queen Eclipsa of Mewni's secret/ not so secret task force.
Including: Star gaining a chip on her shoulder after losing Glossaryck, Post-Apocalyptic Mabel, Rebel/ Fugitive/ BATS Luz, and Newtopian knight Anne.

In my opinion, SvtFoE should’ve ended with Cornonation/ The Coronation of Queen Eclipsa.
It makes a lot of sense when it comes to Star’s character arc as she was originally sent away because she was being disruptive/ destructive and needed to learn to be a better and more responsible princess. She’s only sent to Earth because it's seen as a backwater dimension that is both convenient timeline wise and they wouldn’t care if it was damaged in some way.
She grows to love Earth and see its flaws and strengths, learning to look at Mewni with this newfound perspective
The end to her character arc should be that, after her time on Earth, growing and becoming more mature, she should become Queen in a time of crisis. The thing is that she realizes that this job and life isn't what she wants and she's honestly bad at it. The most responsible decision that she can make after getting everything that she thought her future would be and realizing that she doesn't want it, is to give up the throne and wand to someone that both shares her newfound hopes for a better world and is more suited to leadership. (While Eclipsa isn’t in canon, I think she would be here, just ahead of her time and too liberal and outspoken for her own good.)
Star would end up becoming a knight and/or magic teacher to Meteora, where she can do everything she loves without the social pressures inflicted on her based off of her previous status.
I know I’m shouting into the void and everyone and their mom has complained about the romance but Star and Marco should’ve either gotten together in early season 3 (since Marco finds out that Star likes him at the end of season 2) or not at all. I really like season 3's Tomstar and Marco with either Jackie or Kelly. Given that the only one of Star’s long standing character arcs to not be resolved by the end of season 3 was the romantic one, forcing the show to end would force this arc to be shorter as well.
My preference is for Tomstar and Jarco with Janna being the supportive aro friend we all deserve. Also, I love Trans!Marco and am throwing the name ‘Luna’ into the ring as both symbolizing the now sibling-like relationship between Star and Marco and her cheek marks.
(They would already know about the crescent moon cheek marks because there is no way that these two dumb teenagers live in the same house for a year and a half and not at least test whether or not Marco can use the wand.)
#Magic isn't good or evil it is a tool that people can either do good or bad things with!#4 Stars eu#svtfoe#star butterfly#marco diaz#tom svtfoe#jackie lynn thomas#eclipsa butterfly

Hello! I wanted to create a shared timeline between some Disney Shows
Warnings before we begin:
I did mess with the ages of the characters and presumed years each show takes place for the purposes of the au I was working with and what would make more sense (Hello Anne 'I made varsity tennis at age 12', I am talking to you)
This is meant to tie in with my Amphibia au '4 Stars'. While it's not going to break any of these shows much, it does impact some of the decisions I'm making, such as having The Owl House earlier in the timeline, as well as how much focus I'm giving Amphibia's side of the universe.
2013:
June: Dipper and Mabel Pines (Age 13) arrive in Gravity Falls
August: Bill Cypher invades Earth and almost destroys it
AN: The Pines Twins' ages have never made sense to me. Turning 13 should only set them up to enter 8th grade which isn't the beginning of high school in the American school system. Also, Mabel at least would have already noticeably started puberty.
December: Star Butterfly turns 15 and is given the royal wand
2014:
January: The creation of the Calamity Stones, the creation of the Calamity Box, the box sending itself to Amphibia, and the beginning of the Leviathan dynasty's imperial conquest of other dimensions (please see below for elaboration)
Also January: Star is sent to Mewni's sister realm, Earth, and meets Marco Diaz (Age 15) in Echo Creek (East LA), California
AN: I see the wand as being given at the very beginning of Mewman adulthood, so I wanted to age Star up a bit. Because the Diaz's are a Mexican-American family, I wanted to make her 15 since the symbolic and social transition to adult responsibilities seemed fitting for Star and her journey.
October: Star loses the Royal Magic Book of Spells and Glossaryck to Ludo. A couple months later, Glossaryck's current physical form (at the time) is destroyed.
2015:
June: Star returns to Mewni with her mother after Toffee kills and/or temporarily kills the entire Magical High Commission. A few days later, Star fully unlocks her magical potential
Also June: Luz Noceda (Age 14) travels through a magic door portal from Gravesfield, Connecticut to the Demon Realm. Less than 10 days later, the portal seemingly spontaneously combusts with almost no one the wiser.
October: Luz meets Vee, a basilisk impersonating her and their mom finds out that Luz is in The Demon Realm.
AN: Much like Amphibia, time also passes differently in The Demon Realm. Theres a couple different pockets of time (see below for elaboration) but 6 weeks on The Boiling Isles= ~9.4 days on Earth.
2016:
April: Luz and her friends arrive back on Earth
June: Queen Moon goes missing, Star is temporarily made queen, and she gives the wand and throne back to Eclipsa
October: Luz, her mom, and her friends go back to the Boiling Isles to save it, and Luz and Camila Noceda come back victorious.
November: Scientists discover that the lake around an old graveyard in Gravesfield, Connecticut contains strange structures, artifacts, plant matter, and an unknown script.
AN: Being alone with scientists starting to look into Gravesfield is terrifying for Vee. The Pines family finds out about the oddities going on in Gravesfield and go to check it out. Eda and Stan reunite, and it is very strange for everyone involved except for Ford who finds it hilarious.
2017:
January: Meteora Butterfly is aged up by the Neverzone to be about 16 years old. Meteora and her mom come to an agreement to split the difference since she doesn't want to forget her time here, turning her eight years old. About two weeks later, Eclipsa is officially crowned queen.
AN: I chose 6 months between Eclipsa being given the wand back and her coronation as queen due to the different developmental milestones Meteora displays. She is swaddled at the end of Conquer despite not really needing to be, so I put her at about 4 months. Babies crawl at around 10 and she does in Cornonation.
May: Leif comes to Earth with the rightfully stolen Calamity Box and hides it among a bunch of antiques.
June: Dr. Wu accepts a job offer for early next year studying the strange plant matter found in a lakebed in Gravesfield, Connecticut. Believing that his family would enjoy the quiet and mysterious atmosphere of this small town, he and his wife decide to move.
August: Marcy Wu, Sasha Waybright, Anne Boonchuy, and [4th star] steal the Calamity Box and activate it, getting sent to Amphibia. About 12 hours later, Anne, [the 4th star], and the alien frog child Polly return.
Also August: Two weeks later, the trio and a squad of human allies go back to Amphibia to stop Andrias and save Sasha and Marcy. About an hour later, they return victorious.
AN: A bunch of people either sense or have technology that senses when the box is opened. Dipper was coincidentally in the area visiting various universities in Southern California with Mabel and Grunkle Ford, so they rush to check it out.
September: The Wu family completely moves to Connecticut slightly later than planned. Marcy befriends and swaps stories with Luz and Vee Noceda, eventually convincing them to tell Dr. Wu about the existence of The Demon Realm.
2018:
January: Dr. Wu begins studying the Gravesfield site. While he is aware of where these plants likely came from and the potential dangers, he continues on all the more fascinated, focusing on dating them and analyzing their internal structure and the impact they have on the soil. Marcy and Luz are even allowed to help, both having studied plants from other dimensions before.
September: Dipper begins attending UCSD dual majoring in Zoology and Environmental Science. Mabel and Pacifica go to cosmetic and business school respectively.
AN: I picked UCSD specifically because it is both a prominent university with a focus in research and is the closest and biggest school to Oceanside, CA (which is a real place and idk why the wiki says it isn't)
2020:
September: Marcy and Sasha both begin attending UCSD as Marine Biology and Social Psychology majors respectively.
AN: Anne goes to a community college in Los Angeles instead (like financially responsible people). Anne is getting a certificate in horticulture while working at her family's restaurant
AN: [4th Star] will get a certificate in photography while building her underwater photography portfolio.
2021:
October: Molly McGee (Age 13) moves to Brighton, Iowa and encounters/ befriends the paranormal
2022:
January: Haley Banks (Age 16) is visited by a person from the future and gains access to some futuristic tech and knowledge
July: Dipper (22) begins studying under Dr. Wu in the budding field that is interdimensional biology
AN: Dipper didn't peruse his master's/ PhD under his Grunkle Ford due to both ethical reasons and the fact that Dipper is a bio-centered scientist. Luckily for him, Dr. Wu has been publishing papers on supernatural plant matter discovered in Gravesfield.
AN: When Haley eventually graduates, she will actually ask to peruse her master's under Dr. Stanford Pines in environmental engineering.
November: The Pines twins and Pacifica go to Brighton to check and see if everything is okay. Mabel and Molly really bond and the whole situation ends on good terms with open communication.
2023:
March: Scratch comes back to life
Beginning of January, 2014:
Glossaryck becomes worried that between the dream demon's failed takeover last year and Princess Butterfly's presence on top of Earth's ambient magic this upcoming year, Earth will be thrown into the interdimensional limelight sooner than they can handle. As a result, he conspires with the Cosmic Axolotl to minimize Earth's aura by condensing all of Earth's ambient magic into 4 gemstones that they call 'The Calamity Stones'.
These stones would give someone incredible power and The Axolotl, wanting to see what someone with a good heart could do with power like this, leaves them in the possession of Hailey Banks. While Hailey would one day be a brilliant scientist who changes the world, she is eight years old when immense cosmic power falls into her possession. She instead imbeds the stones into a music box she made. When she steps back to admire her handiwork, the box vanishes.
The Box would then be found by Valeriana, a salamander priestess of the Cosmic Axolotl (though not known by that name). She would present the box to her king, Atlas Leviathan, who uses them to conquer many of the smaller worlds surrounding Amphibia, claiming them in the name of the Leviathan Empire.
If this is you first time here: Hello! I'm hope you're enjoying my timeline so far! Amphibia and Earth run on different speeds. Much like the planets in our solar system, a year on Earth is not the same as a year in Amphibia. 10,000 years pass on Amphibia between the box sending itself to Amphibia and Leif taking it back to Earth whereas on Earth, it has been approximately 3 years and 5 months.
How Dr P's plays into this: Instead of Dr. P's being a book, it's a blog that Dipper (with the help of Grunkle Ford and others) runs to inform others about oddities that aren't in Gravity Falls that they want to keep an eye or obtain if they can. When Leif brought the box back to Earth, The Cosmic Axolotl, in the form of Frilliam, informed Ford of its presence and danger. He then told Dipper, and they created the post to ask if anyone had seen it.
The Demon Realm's Time:
Time moves differently on every continent. The only two that we have to worry about for now are The Boiling Isles and The Neverzone (the place Hekapoo resides and makes dimensional scissors).
The conversion is: Earth: BI: NZ = 1 Day: 4.8 Months: 388,800 Years
When it comes to The Owl House's timeline, Luz graduates from Hexside before the Day of Unity. The portal is destroyed after six weeks and she spends (in total) 4 years there, most of that time trying to fix the door and become the best witch she can be to beat Emperor Belos.
When Eda takes Luz on as an apprentice, she gives her a potion that will keep her aging consistent with time passing on Earth as opposed to time passing on The Boiling Isles. Because no witch has ever seen a human before or understands how they work, she doesn't have to explain her lack of physical aging.
AN: When it comes to Amphibia, the girls flip flop back and forth between the ages they should be in the world that they are currently in. During the events of Amphibia, the girls are 15 on Earth and 15-20 on Amphibia.
#I use dimension/ world/ realm interchangeably here#the tgamm connections/ side of the universe feels kind of empty but I don't information on the show to make connections like that#if you have any ideas for it (or any of them) please let me know#4 Stars eu#gravity falls#amphibia#the owl house#tgamm#svtfoe#dipper pines#mabel pines#anne boonchuy#sasha waybright#marcy wu#star butterfly#marco diaz#luz noceda#molly mcgee#hailey banks#scott denoga

Does anyone else think that Star Butterfly, Mabel Pines, Luz Noceda, and Anne Boonchuy would make a good team?
This au is kind of out there but the four of them being a task force for Queen Eclipsa of Mewni
Part 1: Star Butterfly Johansen, Umbra of The Crown
After Ludo stole Glossaryck and her ancestral Book of Spells, something inside of Star froze over. She became determined to never let the people she cares about come to harm again. Any time she could spare, she spent perfecting any spell she could possibly remember and sending letters to her mom asking her for spell instructions that she remembered. After learning the spell herself from her mother's notes, she would transcribe it into her own journal, which also served as a personal journal of her life, progress, and thought process.
During the night, she took advantage of Marco's dimensional scissors to traverse the dimensions, learning about them and taking note of where they could be advantageous or dangerous. Star would also travel to the Neverzone to hone her abilities. It was here that she met Mabel Pines, a girl around her age who was lost in the multiverse, unable to identify which universe was originally hers. In between intense training sessions, Star was able to identify her home planet using Mabel's dimensional signature. Ironically enough, Star has been studying abroad on the same version of Earth.
They exchange contact information before parting ways. While Moon was missing and Star was acting as the temporary queen, she found that the throne didn't feel right. It wasn't really hers and no matter how hard she tried to push it down for 'her' people she couldn't escape the guilty feeling. When Meteora attacked and Eclipsa reverted her into a baby to save the kingdom, Star gave the wand back to the true queen on one condition. Star puts all of her cards on the table, stating clearly that while she wants to give Eclipsa the crown that was stolen from her, too much time has passed for this to be a wise decision politically. She asks to be made the Queen's right hand, serving as her advisor in all the ways she has recently come to appreciate. Eclipsa agrees easily- they are fond of each other after all- and they part to find their respective families.
Several months later, Star would come up with the idea to form the Umbra- a group of ambassadors/ literal shadow force serving the crown while inspiring fear. She invites Mabel and two others to join her budding team, and they train in the Neverzone. After Moon returns, Star learns of her secret revolt against the Queen and young Princess and relays this information to the Queen. They begin to plan. A month or so later, Star invites Moon, River, and the Magical High Commission to the castle as well as the other Royals of Mewni. She reveals her new status and role to the room, both swearing her undying loyalty to Queen Eclipsa as well as gaining respect for both herself and the Butterflys among the Royals in one fell swoop. She informs the other royals of the possible revolt, under the guise of telling Eclipsa, and lets Moon know exactly how she feels about her choices and bigotry.
Marco and her friends who aren’t Tom or Ponyhead find out the day after and they don’t know how to feel. Janna’s thrilled of course and supports the Queen too but doesn’t join the Umbra due to being a semi-normal high school student. Marco is unsettled by her ‘newfound’ cold and serious demeanor and, although leaving with Jackie, they stay (more distant) friends. Despite feeling betrayed, Tom is supportive of her decisions, and they have a longer conversation later, working through the reveal and staying together.
Three years later, when Meteora and Mariposa wander into the Neverzone and become stuck for sixteen years, Star is the one to find them and they talk about how they don't want to forget their time there by returning to their original ages. The advisor is empathetic and uses a spell to split the difference, turning the two of them into eight year olds before returning them to their parents.
Eclipsa, whose entire family structure has been very strange up until this point is completely supportive and gives her blessing to the sudden ageing of the princess. Mr and Mrs Diaz are also surprisingly supportive, trusting her previously teenage daughter to make the decision that was right for her. The one most furious is Marco, who's been trying to live as normal a life as possible and loved his baby sister to death. He does eventually come around as he can empathize with her situation in the Neverzone. Eclipsa gives Star the job of training both girls- Meteora to be princess and Mariposa to be a knight. They become girlfriends and are generally really cute.
#The Queen's Roses au#How are we feeling?#I know this is a very different version of Star but I think she would still be fun#This is a VERY old au of mine#At least six years kind of old#I like to imagine that Star's hair cools/ ages like an actual star's would. It cools slightly to more of a gold/ ochre color#Until she has a fight with her mom where it burns a bright white in anger#And then cools into its final red (only returning to white when in her butterfly form to match it)#svtfoe#star butterfly#eclipsa butterfly#meteora butterfly#svtfoe mariposa

A (Hopefully) Comprehensive Taste of Amphibian Agriculture
The History
In the past, the original amphibian hunting colonies found that mealworms were attracted to fallen heartfruit*, among others. They began to use this knowledge to make traps and eventually began both containing the worms as well as growing the fruit.
Despite mealworms' historical prominence in the farming and feeding of Amphibia, crickets are more popular nowadays due to their higher levels of protein and variability for cooking. They also began growing a larger variety of produce to further increase efficiency.
The farming industry is predominantly made up of animal-based farms with products consisting of bug meat of many kinds, jumping spider eggs, spider web, fish, hummingbee honey, animal skins and furs with an associated milling industry for cricket flour. The rare exception to this is spirulina farms as they are farmed for tadpole food for frog and toad children, being a kind of freshwater algae. The other half are farms, like the Plantars, that are dedicated to plants. These are mostly used for animal feed, but you do have cotton, linen, flowers, and aromatic or decorative plants.
* Heartfruit is a kind of tree grown, raspberry pink, heart shaped fruits that are about the size of a kumquat. The Plantar's farm is the only producer of this fruit as its traditionally significant but not necessary for frogkind. They are Anne's personal favorite of the Plantar's produce, being both tasty and nostalgic (somehow) while being chalk full of nutrients that she needs.
What the Plantar's actually farm
The Plantars grow animal feed for predominantly crickets but also others such as silkworms, snails, etc. They grow produce like moringa, watercress, sweet potatoes, cattails, wild rice, and duckweed as well as having a single heartfruit tree for emotional value.
Anne survives mostly on the Plantar's produce along with cricket meat (knowing that she can at least eat crickets), freshwater fish, spirulina, and spider eggs. When she fixes up the greenhouse and moves in, she plants some seeds that she had planned to give to her dad for his budding (ha) herb garden. While the rosemary didn't survive, she successfully planted mint, oregano, cilantro, sage, and chives. She even manages to start some new heartfruit trees (although the fruit that grows is a dark blue for some reason despite tasting the same)!
After discovering that the amphibians hibernate through the winter in Wartwood, she begins to store whatever produce they don't sell, drying what she can, grinding as necessary, and storing all of it in the root cellar. She even makes rice vinegar and gathers hybeena honey to ferment others. The Plantars help her do this, once they understand the situation, drying and pickling heartfruit as well as smoking fish and making jerky out of bugs that they know she can have.
Anne's gonna learn to survive, even if the first winter is especially hard.
Author's Notes
I actually posted this in AO3 first because I thought I wasn't going to change the crops themselves from a post I made on a different account... then I thought a little too much about it.
I do want to warn you that I used Chat GBT on this one. I've gone through this entire process five or six times now over the years without it and it takes me literal days and/or I burn out from stress.
The process is a lot of researching each plant's growing conditions and nutritional facts on various gardening blogs with conflicting information, comparing them to one another, decided I don't want to use a couple, and trying a couple more. Its tedious. I used ai and this still took me five hours if that's any indication on how thorough I can be.
#Anne's going to get all of her nutrients or so help me#amphibia#4 Stars Au#amphibia worldbuilding baby~#The Plantar Family Farm

The Story of the Calamity Box
From the Amphibian Perspective
No one truly knows where the Calamity Gems come from, their existence being lost to myth and faded to forgottenness by all but a select few. One of those that remember was Valerina, a salamander who found the gems and used them to power a music box that could open portals to other dimensions. She presented it to her king so that Amphibia could benefit from interdimensional travel and trade with other sentient life.
What the salamander didn't know is that those that remain in contact with the box for too long begin to see visions (of the past, present, future, and of other dimensions) that have the potential to drive them mad. This happened to the king, Atlas Leviathan, who became even more paranoid of these other dimensions and began a hundreds of years long conquest of other worlds, raising his descendants to do the same.
When he died, he preserved his consciousness in the box and was able to communicate with his living descendants, who all did the same. This collective became known as The Night. These traditions continued through ten monarchs before the reign of King Andrias.
On the day of his coronation, one of his best friends, Leif Plantar, killed the queen and stole the box and escaped in an act of treason never before seen. Barrel the Bold, Andrias’ personal guard, was blamed for allowing this to occur and banished to the outskirts where he would defend toad villages until the day he died. Leif, meanwhile, sought sanctuary from an olm friend, Eidothea the Wise (Mother Olm), and together they hid the box in another dimension.
What they didn't know that just a thousand years later, the box would be stolen by a group of kids who would present the box to the very monster they risked everything to steal it from.
How The Box Came to be
The Cosmic Axolotl and another interdimensional being were talking about the effect powerful magical being could have on Earth. They predict that, if the Earth's ambient magical aura were to increase or a powerful enough magical being were to enter this dimension, dangerous beings from other dimensions could see Earth as a new player in the interdimensional sphere.
In order to protect Earth from conquest and/or complete destruction, they condensed all of the ambient magic of Earth into four small round gems. Minimizing their aura and hiding them would allow Earth to remain under the radar until the humans could be ready for that attention.
Each stone took a different aspect of being and both developed asterism (the thing that distinguishes a star sapphire from a regular sapphire) and turned a different color as a result: The quartz that absorbs mind became teal, body became pink, heart became indigo, and soul became yellow.
In order to nudge the human race into the right direction to eventually become a player on the interdimensional board, The Cosmic Axolotl places the stones in a small ceramic jar in the home of a creative and good person who reminds them a little of a shooting star of a girl. This person, instead of discovering that these gems were magic, they decided to set the four into a music box they were making.
They finished the music box but when they go to test it, the box disappears.
Key:
The other interdimensional god-like being: Glossaryck
The powerful magical being on Earth: Star Butterfly
The shooting star of a girl: Mabel Pines
The creative and good-hearted person who made the music box: Hailey Banks

Hello! I was thinking a bit too much about how Amphibians get access to alcohol without starches
There are several kinds of alcohol in Amphibia, much like there are on earth:
Newtopians drink a particular wine made of honeypot ant honey infused with spices. This beverage is by far the sweetest of the three, making it highly desirable. It is most commonly enjoyed hot in the winter as it allows Newtopians (who already live in a temperate climate) to prevent hibernation throughout the winter.
Valley frogs drink ale made from fermented rice water weevils, hops- a sap produced by lacs* (a species of insect native to the valley), and various additives depending on what is available or most tasty such as crickets.
Sometimes the drinks are mixed together in a roughly 45% ale, 45% water, and 10% honeypot wine. This is known as "bog grog" and is drunk almost exclusively by toads, being seen as more hardcore than frog ale but with a hint of the very expensive ingredient that is honey. Despite being drunk at room temperature, the sugars in the honey help toads function in the harsh mountainous winters.
*I think I need to explain myself with the lac insects bit. The reason hops are used to increase the shelf life of beer is due to their alpha acids. The alpha acids are found in the resin glands of flowers, so I used a resin producing insect as my hop substitute. For the record, 'lac' is a group of insects and not a particular species.*
#I may update this later as I learn more about this process and the cultural significance of alcohol#Also I have yet to think of anything for olms (or if I even want that)#amphibia#4 Stars Au#amphibia worldbuilding baby~#amphibians are almost completely carnivorous this was difficult#but I do get to lean on fantasy a little bit especially in using rice water weevils as a rice substitute and lac insects as a hops one
