“I don’t get how he wormed his way through everyone? Through Scott and Stiles and you.”Allison’s gaze fell away. “What does he even want from the Deseret Wolf? What does he want period?” 

“I don’t trust Theo…I didn’t trust him, but he was the only option I had at the time to get the Desert Wolf…” She shrugged. “I still don’t trust him. Especially after he shot me.”

“You’re not alone, given a normal day seems too good to be true. Huh? I’m not familiar with that title. Looking after everyone is a pack thing. Whoever said that is delusional.”

“Mom’s planning on staying, same with Dad, I really just want out. This place gives me nightmares. How’s everybody been, by the way? I know I’ve just met you recently but I’ve heard you’ve been a good ‘pack mom’ in a way.”

“And Theo? What about him?” Allison long away from figuring this out. Lydia locked up in Eichen, Mrs. Martin refusing to seeing the dark reality that’s Beacon Hill. “Exactly, Stiles.I just think it’s something you two can fix.”

“Oh, no, he was very clear.” Stiles, we can’t kill people that we’re trying to save. It was self defense, and whomever had told Scott otherwise was sorely mistaken. “I don’t know. I can’t talk to him, or my dad– I don’t know.”

“Scott not perfect, you’re not perfect. Let’s get one thing straight...” she’s forcing hands. The way he said it, about Scott, came off unsettling to the young Argent. “It’s a miscommunication on both parts. Talking to me is a start to figuring out this mess, if not me than who else would you go too?” Allison sighs, biting down edges of her lip. “Not Scott.”

“I don’t think he understands that.” Stiles took a tremulous breath in a failing attempt to steady himself, pulse racing angrily. “He doesn’t understand what I’ve been trying to tell him– and complaining to you about it is just gonna make us both seem like kids.”

“Theo....you’re trusting Theo over Stiles? Braeden okay, she works with my dad sometimes. There’s no questioning Braeden, Theo?” Allison doesn’t do well in hiding her disdain towards chimera. The human abomination, she almost felt like jumping out of her skin at the mere mention of his name. “I get that...”

“Theo and Braeden…” She paused and thought of what else to say when it came to her ex. “I don’t want Stiles help….it hurts to be around him…”

“Who went with you? Scott only said Kira was back in town and that’s not how we work Malia. I’m sure he still cares, he cares so much. Stiles mental capacity  just a little different okay.” 

“I wasn’t alone….and Stiles doesn’t need to know. We are broken up. He has too much going on anyways. Why would I bother him about my birth mother?”

“No one perfect, Stiles.” Certainly not you, she would have gone on saying. “Whatever it is or it was, you two always figure a way to work things out.” Allison resorted. Allison couldn’t see them holding up for too long. In a few days, she could see this blowing over. “What?”  

“What I mean is I made a mistake,” he snapped. There was anger boiling beneath his skin, something he had not truly given himself a chance to let out yet. “It’s between us, and he’s being–” Stiles cut himself off to keep from saying anything he might regret, though he was tempted to continue.

“Tough? My dad sort of the same way and we come back mainly because of me. Yeah, when you stop moving around and affiliate with the locals? I guess it is nice. But it’s always good to be ready in case someone decides to move again.”

“My mom’s on a mission. When she sets her mind to something nothing can stop her, so my family and I have stopped trying. It’s nice to be around semi-familiar faces after everything we went through, though.”
