3am thoughts with Ruler, a translation

Ruler: I feel that I might not be able to play at the same level after two years time... I used to think that I could keep playing as long as I'm still able to, but lately I think it might be alright to leave during my brightest moment. Of course I still have to do my best this year. I have a much better mindset than before, and I've really become more mature.（It would be a shame to retire (later), but it can't be helped.

I've tried to work my hardest this whole time so when I retire, I probably won't have any regrets. When that time comes, I might feel that it'd be nice to play a few more years, but I won't regret it when I look back on my career as a whole.

Being a pro really is hard, playing games and relationships are exhausting, but honestly that's the same for all careers. I've learned a lot, so I won't repeat the mistakes I made and will keep working hard.

It's because of all of you that I've made it this far. Everyone that's cheered for me has been a huge help. Really [said in Chinese]. Esports wouldn't be possible without fans. Having people cheering for me is such a wonderful thing.

All pros should really be thankful for their fans. If this game wasn't popular like this, there wouldn't be an audience; seriously, without this game, we'd be nothing. I think about that every day. Please continue to support me, thank you for cheering for me, and cheers to everyone!

Whether you are a Korean player or a Chinese player, you must have gratitude for the fans. Really. When I first arrived at the venue, there would be many fans waiting there, and having to greet them... It was novel, that they would wait in front, outside of the games. At first I felt a little awkward, but afterwards, I felt it was very touching because even though they didn't know what time we'd arrive, they'd still keep waiting there. So I do my best to greet the fans. I hope the other players can also appreciate their fans more.

No matter if there's one person, two people or several people cheering for me, I think that just having someone cheer for me is a very fortunate thing. No matter how popular you are, the well-wishes and cheers that you receive are special, and I hope other players will cherish them as well. Every day when I wake up, I'll bow from east to west, north to south [as a sign of gratitude]. I'm always very grateful! Byebye~ Good night~
