i find it interesting that there are two different translations of Sachiko's chart and both are extremely wrong.

"housewifeness"? what does that even mean? and what does her being an "ordinary" housewife has to do with anything?

and her motivation/emotional strength being ranked so low is so contradictory to her actual character, and even to what it's written there - "kept the family together during the most troubled times of the Kira case" and "When Soichiro had his doubts about his decisions in the Kira's case, Sachiko was at his side, urging him to see it to the end."

4. who’s your favorite underrated or obscure character?

I lvoe…… I love Aizawa so much….. I already liked him in the first half of the series but he became my all-time favorite once he started to suspect Light ♥️ my goat my king he had great character development and the task force would be nothing without him and I stand by that. He’s so interesting too I’ve been thinking about him and his daughter recently (angsty stuff 💔 might make a post about it) also HE’S SO FINE HE’S SO HANDSOME HELLO

Honestly I love everyone in the task force I think they’re all underrated (other than Matsuda but I love him too)

21. if you could revive any character, which would you save?

11. what do you think about Lawtsuda [L/Lawliet x Matsuda]?

Very cute and fun ship! I used to not think too much of it because it felt very,,, one-sided to me and the thought of Matsuda in that kind of relationship makes me :(

HOWEVER. @maskrosfe’s lawtsuda art changed my perspective a LOT I think everyone should go look at their beautiful work. I like the idea of weird freak L getting attached to this ball of sunshine. Very cute.

I also like the concept of Matsuda wanting to be useful to L, wanting his approval. There’s so much potential there… I should draw them at some point I can’t believe I haven’t yet.

19. was Near a worthy successor of L?

OH ABSOLUTELY!! I’m not big on the Wammy kids (unless it’s Mello) so I feel like I can never properly articulate my thoughts about them, but Near was exceptional in ways that really amazed me.

When I think of him I think of that scene where he was able to figure out L was Light with the limited information Aizawa gave him. I remember being like “holy shit this guy is good.” And his line of thinking is similar to L’s I would say, so yes he is definitely worthy.

Now, if we were to talk about post-canon near….. that’s a lot more interesting….
