Hello Adaine, I am glad you are here. I’m alright. I have been talking with some of the people on here, in order to observe social interactions outside of the limited groups I have been in. I appreciate having someone familiar here now.

Fig and Gorgug have set up some equipment. I think it was done in case they wanted to perform it. Knowing Fig, she will play at some point during the night, but it isn’t guaranteed.

Has the party started yet, or is everyone still prepping?

It has recently started. I am helping Adaine finish with what we did not set up before people began to arrive. Given my understanding of previous parties at Morded Manor, within 15 minutes it will be at its typical level, which is usually very high energy.

What's the occasion? Or is it just a party for the sake of having a party?

Fig and The Cig Figs released a new song. It is a good reason to have a party, but they were planning to have one regardless, and were looking for a reason.

A party has been scheduled for tonight at Modred Manor, so I have the opportunity to test my ear plugs.

I won’t need them at immediately, so I will be attempting to enjoy the party first.

So, another ask about your hair- has there ever been any s'more making? Or would it make food unsafe, or just plain unsanitary?

My friends have made s’mores with my hair before, yes. Fabian suggested it when we had a group sleepover, and Fig and Kristen pushed for it. Adaine and Riz were both interested to see if it would taste differently. I understand that s’mores are often a fun bonding sleepover activity, so I agreed. It was not as uncomfortable as I thought it might be, and I was surrounded by my friends which was wonderful. Kristen accidentally dropped one on my head, but most of it burnt away, and I was able to clean what didn’t. I found the feeling of it incredibly uncomfortable, so I was given Boggy while they made the rest of the s’mores. They have done this multiple times since, occasionally trying different food. It happens infrequently though, as it is not always convenient. I have come to realize that this is not typical for creatures who are in some part made of fire, but I don’t see why it would be so.

Food cooked with phoenix fire can be unsafe to people, but if you are around magic consistently, there is not typically an issue. Most of my friends and their family are able to eat things cooked with it safely, expect Gilear. He died after Fig insisted he have a s’more.

Have you ever burned something with your hair on purpose? If you have what was it?!

I’ve done that before, yes. It is sometimes simpler to burn a paper and let the breeze take the ashes than to find another way of getting rid of it. I can’t use my hair to destroy much else, though I have tried with things I find embarrassing.

I have three pairs of earplugs to test next time I am at a party of some kind. I originally had seven, but four were ruled out due to the texture being incredibly uncomfortable.

I will update on my findings with them once I have concluded my first trial.

If Headphones are failing, would Earplugs work? They would not pose the risk of being burnt by your hair.

I see. I will look into them immediately. On Levitation, earplugs were not common. I should have accounted for their presence in Solace.

instead of looking at a silence spell, maybe you want to invest in a pair of noise cancelling headphones?

My hair burns them. The one’s Gorgug made me is fire resistant, but they have very little noise canceling noise canceling.

I am looking into modified applications of the silence spell or any other silencing-related magic. Modded Manor parties often get loud, and can still be heard too well from the tower.

I have multiple leads on older enchantments or malleable magical items, but nothing solid yet. I will report back with any updates on my findings. If you have leads on something that could work, tell me immediately.

What is your favourite memory with each of your friends?

This is hard because every memory is worthy of being my favorite. Before I met them I could have imagined having so many to cherish.

Meeting Adaine is my favorite with her. She was my first friend and didn’t care about how hard I am to be around. Without that, I would not be as happy as I am now. She is the best friend I could have asked for, not that I could have began imagine one as good as her.

Every time I kiss Fig it is my new favorite memory with her. It’s like I am reliving our first kiss each time. I am incredibly lucky to have had her see something in me worth being with.

Fabian tried to teach me to dance once. I was not well coordinated. The sheets he had my practice with kept burning. He didn’t get angry with me for not understanding or burning them. He laughed and kept going. Seeing him dance is incredible.

Gorgug made me flame-proof headphones. He needed me around in order to test prototypes, so I studied multiple spells while he worked. We did not speak, but it was not uncomfortable. It was nice.

I helped Riz with a conspiracy board of his. I enjoyed doing the thorough researched required for it with him. We spent a day and a half searching the Compass Points for everything we could connect to his work, then analyzed it all.

Kristen took me on a ‘girls night’ around Elmville. I do not usually like bar crawling or parties, but she made sure to take me to places that were bearable. It was an experience I would never had gotten on Leviathan, especially as I did not attend highschool, and it involved what I have learned are typical high school activities. I am still grateful to her for giving me that in a way I enjoyed.

These are my favorite memories, but that does not mean that I do not have more I value a lot. All the time I spend with them is more valuable to me than I am able to express.
